This was a nice local coffee shop. I didn’t try the wine but the coffee was great. I loved the relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. I would recommend this to anyone who likes the local coffee shop scene

My jobs gives me the opportunity to check out coffee shops in Dakota County and I try to shop local. I searched for a coffee shop in the Burnsville area and the usual Caribou and Starbucks showed up. On my way to the Caribou I found this gem! Right away I was greeted warmly by the staff which is a treat compared to the above mentioned places. Ordered the chocolate cake donut and thought it would probably be typical and I was SO wrong. They made the donut fresh… it was warm when it was brought to my table. Yes, you order and find a seat and then they bring you your order. What a nice touch! I was impressed and will be back for sure. FYI: they have food and alcohol… if I wasn’t working I would’ve had a glass of wine with my donut.

Easy 4, possibly a 5. Great beer selection with lots of local craft bars, really friendly staff who all deserve raises(joke with the staff, but they are friendly). Calzones are REALLY good with great crust, and chicken quesadilla was surprisingly tasty and spicy.

This is a great spot — meet with a friend, get stuff done, or have a meeting. I really enjoy the live music and the atmosphere.

I love this place! It’s a great place to hole up with a good book, study, meet friends, or meet up with business contacts. The food is excellent… especially the margarita pizza! The staff takes time to get to know you, too… especially the more you come. I definitely recommend it!

My «go to» coffee shop with the friendliest staff in town. Get to know the neighborhood every morning. Or pop in and get your morning jolt if you’re on the run. I’ve always felt comfortable here and it’s a great place to spend some time on the Internet too. Perfect Place for morning group meetings.

Great little coffee shop, almost hidden in the Burnsville«Heart of the City». Something for everybody, wine, coffee, sandwiches, pizza, several gluten free options and Friday/Saturday evening entertainment. A new favorite hangout in Burnsville for my wife and me, coffee was very good as well as atmosphere and very friendly, knowledgeable staff, THey will deliver box lunches with 24 hour notice.

I had the Fiery Feta Chicken(I think that is what is called) pizza on the cracker crust. It was soooooo good! The seasonings were wonderful, sauce was awesome and the crust was perfect! I would definitely go back.

Had no idea this place(or this part of Burnsville!) even existed! I used to live in MN, and a friend suggested it as a meet up place, she looking for tea, and me, something stronger. :-) she had the mint tea, I had the Cabernet, and we were both pleased. I chatted with a nice local at the counter, while I waited for my friend. Also, they have a few cute crafty/artsy things for sale, as well as some unique greeting cards– perfect for small gifts. My friend also had a sundae, it was awesome. Lots of tables for eating, and some comfy couches and chairs near a fire place. We are definitely going back!

Food/Drink: I’ve been here a few times, first time since starting to Unilocal so review time is on. I went with their coffee, but have had some of their espresso drinks in the past. I stuck around for an hour and did a refill. For not being a gimmick or big chain this was all good in the hood(rimshot please). The trick with this place is that they have wine and beer(though I’m not sure if I could have got it at 9AM, it is the burbs after all). I didn’t see a lot of food flying around so I’ll stick with the liquids for now. Ambiance: Party in the front, business in the back(or something like that). In the front area there’s couches, carpets, bars, wines and all sorts of warmth and joy. In the back, there’s tables and chairs setup for workers or people to converse, etc. Even further in the back is a special reserve only room with the door open, boy was I tempted to go in. And the internet is pretty fast and reliable which I’m really happy about. There’s even a pseudo street/parking lot next to the place so you can park there if you’re planning to be there for a while(pick up parking also exists directly in front). Service: Good. I’m always happy to pay for a refill, but even happier when I’m told don’t sweat it. The initial person behind the register seemed a little fluster, but then again it is the morning and so was I without coffee. Overall: Given the options in the area, I think this place is great. I wouldn’t consider it a destination coffee shop/bar/food/wine. They’re quick enough to get you your order and on your way(if that’s your cup of tea, rimshot please) or even supporting you«working remotely» sipping on some wine later in the afternoon.

Jojo’s offers a great selection of drinks wines and great beers! As well as a unique menu. My favorite is the buffalo chicken pizza with the cracker crust. In the heart of Burnsville, Jojo’s has a great view and it’s a cozy and homey place to hang out and have drinks with friends.

I really like going to Jojo’s. It’s a friendly, comfortable atmosphere, and you don’t have all the noise that the smaller coffee shops have… making it a great place for a business meeting. It’s family owned too, and I like to support the smaller businesses in the neighborhood. I also like their food. It’s nothing fancy. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. It’s a small menu but I love the salad, and it’s great for kids. They even have some games. So you could get a glass of wine and a salad and the kids could eat and be occupied with a game or two.

Great place! Never been disappointed here. The food is good and the drinks are some of the best. If you’re looking to get away from the typical chain coffee shop this is the place to go.

The food is fresh, the coffee is great, and the service is fantastic. The whole environment is much warmer and friendlier than your typical chain coffee store. I’m afraid to bring my wife, because she’ll be bugging me to go there all the time! I haven’t been there in the evening yet, but I highly recommend it for a morning coffee and a bite to eat.

Super hard to find, because it is in the lobby/lower level of an apartment/condo building. The people were super friendly and the prices were reasonable. Came for canvas and cocktails collide, there was a very talented cover band playing and they had a good happy hour special, free cheese plate with purchase of a bottle of wine. :)

What a cute joint! This place adds real flare to downtown Burnsville. Any establishment that combines coffee and wine is A-OK in my book. We strolled over for breakfast around 10 on a Monday. It was pretty quiet. Maybe 4 others. The place is surprisingly large inside; there is lots of seating including bar stools, couches, armchairs, tables and so on. There is a really cute sitting area with a fireplace and side tables with lamps. Precious. I can definitely fantasize about sitting there with a cup of coffee reading while the weather raged outside. Too bad, I don’t live here… We all some form of cooffe, lattes, cappacinos, and such. All good. Mine was bit luke, coulda used a few more degrees. I had a delctable, delicious breakfast burrito. It was piping hot; the steam billowed out after my first bite. It was zesty, hearty, and flavorful. The red torilla was cripy on the outside, really really good. My husband sai his bagel sandwich was ordinary, but good. My sister picked up a cute bottle of wine shaped like a cat. They have to open it and pour you a bit to sell it though. Maybe next time I roll into MN, we can go back for vino! Ciao!

Having driven by this shop many times, I finally had a chance to give it a try. Sadly, I went there for dinner and I do not think that is their specialty. Food in general is not what JoJo’s is about. What it does have is a cute atmosphere and a friendly staff. People were sitting and hanging out on the seating around the fireplace enjoying their favorite drink and talking. So if grabbing a cup of coffee or wine and hanging out is on order, definitely give this place a try. However, like I mentioned the food(at least the food I had) was not the best, nor was it cheap. I had a calzone and it was decent… just not great in any way. So, when I go back in the future I will keep this in mind and update my review when I actually experience JoJo’s as it should be. With a warm mug, a comfy seat, and good company.

JoJo’s is a great place to grab a cup of coffee or even a glass of wine at night! Incredibly friendly staff with great suggestions. They have a great menu of coffee selections, wine/beer selections as well as food selections to satisfy your appetite! My favorite part about this place is the atmosphere. It has cozy seating to curl up and read a book or for casual socializing and regular seating to enjoy a full meal. To add to the incredible atmosphere they have great live music Friday and Saturday nights that perfectly sets the mood for an enjoyable evening. Be sure to visit! The friendly staff is sure to put a smile on your face.
