Went with the family from Los Angeles, and had the best time. we walked to the water fall, went tubin’ (toobin?), seen the top of Mt. Mitchell, ziplining/​beer tasting in asheville, and raftin’ in the Nolichucky. Oh yeah, Van and Debbie too. this is a great place to stay.

I just spent four days at Alberts with eleven friends and can’t say enough good things about our stay.
The rooms are clean, spacious, have excellent beds and the view from the porch is post card beautiful.
The nearby restaurant has super service and excellent food.
The owners, Van & Debbie, are some of the most gracious and fun loving hosts you will ever find and they truly enhance the experience.
This is just the perfect place for a mountain getaway.
I can’t wait to get back!

5 stars! This place is great :-) My husband and I stayed in the Inn back in October 2013. The room was clean, has a kitchen but best of all great views. We returned last weekend and enjoyed staying in a larger cabin. Very comfortable! Our group of 7 loved it.
Big Plus: Golf course on site with Restaurant, additional restaurant walking distance serves great German Food. Hiking, Biking and Waterfalls are just a few things we enjoyed. Oh and white water rafting is 1 hour away. Tons of fun!
