Specialties
The Burlington Area Community YMCA-YWCA provides health, fitness, recreation and social opportunities for youth, adults and families. In addition, we also provide services and emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault.
History
Established in 1877.
The YMCA and YWCA have been part of Burlington for over 100 years. In 1980 the two organzations joined together to build the current facility at 2410 Mt. Pleasant Street. On January 1, 2005 the YMCA & YWCA merged to form the Burlingotn Area Community YMCA-YWCA.
