Closed, Summer 2012. Too bad, it was my favorite location!

This is my favorite of the local STAs — the ones in the Atrium and Wellesley are too high-end, the Harvard Square one skews a little young for me. The clothing ranges from teen fashion to… well, Talbots. The brands reflect the retail in the mall — J. Crew, Ann Taylor, Coach, as well as some higher-end names. The prices are fair; I always feel like I’m getting a deal when I get something on sale there.

Kind of cool to see a second hand store inside a mall. They’ve got the designer goods to stand up to the behemoths of Nordstrom and all. Lots of designer labels like Betsy Johnson, Anne Klien, FreePeople, Coach, Ferragamo, etc. Definitely some good fashionista bargains to be found. Case in point my treasure of a dress for $ 21. It’s all Betsy Johnson and silk and gorgeous! Right now everything without a «new» tag is %50 off the tagged price. Not sure how long that will last. Two stars off for some pretty ugly and outdated shoes and the salesperson was really strange. I wish I had a better description, but she was off in some way. Also, too bad to hear about bad consignment experiences. Maybe I won’t consign stuff there now.

Good for you, Second Time Around, for breaking into the monstrosity of Burlington Mall! LOVE the window displays — you guys are really breathing down the necks of Anthropologie and Free People with your whimsical ways :) Happy Faces for: –being able to make your consignment appointment from their website. –having a sweet sale section. –listing designers they carry /accept clothing with that label. Sad faces for: –only giving customers 40% of the selling prices. –having a pretty narrow range of sizes(tough for fatties to find cute stuff — I can say that, cause I’m a fattie) –not being closer to mi casa
