History
Established in 1996.
Schoolhouse Ice Cream’s first location was opened by my Mom in Harwichport Cape Cod. Since then she has been awarded «Best Ice Cream on the Lower Cape» for the last 18 years in a row.
My wife and I make the same award winning Ice Cream and Yogurt in Burlington, MA. We opened, back in 2003 and since then we have created the same insanely loyal customer following that has made Schoolhouse Ice Cream become known all around Massachusetts and beyond.
So if your in the mood for some awesome homemade ice cream, then come visit us while your on the Cape or in the Burlington area and see what all the craze is about.
Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner
My wife Betty and I both grew up on the same road in Bedford Ma, which is next to Burlington, and have been together since 2000.
When we decided to open up a new Schoolhouse Ice Cream and to start looking for a new location, we knew we wanted to be close to the area that we grew up in and have become familiar with over the years.
What we were looking for from this new location was a busy part of town with plenty of parking and that’s exactly what we found here in Burlington. Not only is it a great part of town with plenty of parking but it is also less than 1.5 miles from Rte 95 which makes it travel friendly.
So if you’re craving homemade ice cream and are about to pass the Burlington exit — just know that you can have homemade ice cream in your hand in just a few minutes.
