Orthopaedics Plus, a therapist owned facility has been providing outpatient Physical Therapy and Athletic Training services in Massachusetts since 1986. With private practices in Beverly and Burlington, Orthopaedics Plus specializes in orthopaedic rehabilitation, sports injuries and treatment of the spine.

The Physical Therapists of Orthopaedics Plus have extensive training in orthopaedic manual physical therapy through its nationally accredited teaching facility, The Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy www​.iomt​woburn​.com. This training ensures that patients receive the highest quality of care through the principles of differential diagnosis, patient education, graded exercise programs and advanced manual techniques.

Additionally, Orthopaedics Plus also provides and manages physical therapy services for Winchester Hospital.

Business Owner

Alan is the Director of Treatment and a principle at Orthopaedics Plus. A graduate of Boston University in Physical Therapy in 1984 and Human Movement in 1987, he is an Associate Program Director at The Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy and is a Full Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy.

In addition to his manual therapy background, Alan is also a Licensed Athletic Trainer and was formerly the Physical Therapist/​Athletic Trainer for Boston University’s Ice Hockey and Football teams.

Along with his normal caseload, Alan has a special interest in working with injuries of his fellow baseball players.

Great place to get fixed up when you have wrecked part of the ol’ body. This is probably my fifth time needing PT, currently for a shoulder issue, and the Burlington office continues to run efficiently and professionally. Scott listens to what I am saying about my pain/​comfort levels, and keeps a close eye when I am doing the excercises out on the floor. Everyone here is friendly and extremely helpful.
This is the only place I would go to rehab my damaged parts.

I’ve been to PT several times at different companies. Most recently, I needed it for a sprained hamstring, and then my achilles, and was treated at Orthopedics Plus. this place is small, and you get their undivided attention. while you are working on your exercises, even if the P t is working someone else, they are close enough to provide you with pointers, and do.
They spend extra time with you if needed, and make sure that you have the right exercises. I was surprised at how quickly I recovered from my injuries. I have never had such good results anywhere else. Additionally, I feel that i have been given more attention here, than anywhere else.
If I or my family need PT in the future, we will DEFINITELY go to Orthopedics Plus.

A very good place. My left ankle has been bothering me for months from martial arts training and I finally went to see a doc at NWH. The doc diagnosed me with tendonitis in my left ankle and he recommended PT for a few weeks. My sister, who is a PTA, recommended this place to me. Judy is my PT and I was a little skeptical about the whole ordeal. The first week, I didn’t see much result, but as the treatment goes on, it has been much better. Judy is very attentive and knowledgeable with the PT process. I am in my 3rd week of treatment and it has been wonderful! I strongly believe Judy can help me to get back to where I once was.

talk about a smooth running clinic… they always have great aides, great front office and most importantly great physical therapist.
all of the therapist at OP burlington have completed at least a 1 year residency at the institute of orthopedic manual therapy, todd has completed 2 years earning the OMT title (orthopedic manual therapist) and al is one of the four professors that teach the institute which only take 12 students per year for level one and 4 per year for level 2.
they recently (4 – 5 months ago) hired a new aide who used to work at my clinic, great addition to the team.
i think by saying this is the location i would send my loved ones speaks volumes about my review, i need not say more.
