What a weird experience. I walked in and the what looked like manager/owner was asleep on the pedicure chairs. The woman doing my nails cut my cuticle and I yelled«ouch!» And she didn’t apologize. I got a gel manicure and it looks so awful — the tips are dark and the nail bed is see through. I got my nails done special for my bachelorette & sigh, they look pretty bad. Won’t be back, which is too bad because it’s nearby. Also, reading the other reviews and the businesses’ responses are incredibly rude & ridiculous.

I read the Unilocal reviews AFTER I came here for the most overpriced, low quality pedicure and lackluster service I’ve ever had. Now it all makes sense. Find someplace else. And to top it all off, and prove all of the one star reviews are correct, the manager of the salon will probably log onto Unilocal to tell me off. Charming!

I tried to get my girl a treat and it did not work out! This place is unsanitary, over priced and sloppy. My girl is disgusted, upset and will never return to this place. They left oil on her legs, her heels are still rough and there was polish left on the skin. All this for $ 38 without tip. Do not go here its a total Ripoff.

There is a 90% chance they won’t be coming back to this place!(Unless I’m really in desperate need of a mani and pedi) My pedicure was less than average, she barley cut my cuticles or filed my nails, same for my manicure. I had to ask her for the nail filer because they were uneven. Then by the time I got home my nail polish had bubbled and there was nail polish left on the side of my cuticles.

Stopped in with a friend last minute when the salon we normally go to couldn’t take us as a walk in – and I never thought I would say it but I am glad that we had to relocate! The people who greeted us were nice and friendly — we did the typical choose a color and wait for one of the stations to free up. The salon person took their time and gave extra attention and care to massaging my feet & legs, and was meticulous with the polish on my toes. One of the things I loved was not feeling judged or too awkward– I know that sounds weird but it can be intimidating sometimes through language barrier or salon techs talking to each other while doing their work and I was so thankful that this didn’t happen during my session. This place is definitely on the hidden side, it’s located in the Shaw’s plaza — but is worth a stop in. I can’t vouch for their tanning services but there seemed to be a steady stream of people in and out of the tanning booths.

This place is close to my home, so I’ll give it one star for convenience. I went in one morning, and there was one man working. I was the first customer, and then a woman showed up for a pedi. He directed her to the last of 4, maybe 5 pedicure stations and turned the water on. She picked a color and sat down and dunked her feet and grabbed the remote for the chair massage and then made a weird face, tried to trouble shoot, and then politely asked the man who was doing my nails if the chair was broken. The massage arms had stopped right between her shoulder blades and she was in this awkward position, clearly uncomfortable. He then said, «ya– broken. Too hard to fix. use pillow. » He then got up, and handed her a pillow from the station next to hers. She sort of grumbled«but I’m really uncomfortable», and took the pillow, and then maybe 10 min later another customer came in for a pedi, and he had her sit in the first chair. Which worked. The first woman didn’t complain, but I almost did but thought better of it cause the guy was holding a sharp instrument next to my cuticle… She sat there in this awkward position for a half an hour, and had to pay 30 bucks for that?! It was likely the worst customer service I’ve ever witnessed. I won’t go back. Fix the damn chair or only use it if you must. Also, newsflash, number one cause of melanoma?! Tanning bed. Don’t use one.

I went here with a group for a social gathering. Never again will I step foot in that place. I have never had such a terrible manicure in my life. I know this sounds incredibly dramatic and first world problem, which it totally is. But damn, I could have done a better job myself. My nails have air bubbles all over them and the coats are so embarrassingly uneven. The first coat is fine, but the manicurist did such a careless and sloppy job on the second coat that the edges on both sides of my 10 fingers got missed. I never write reviews, but if you could see my nails you’d understand!

I’m not normally one to write a negative review… However, I was so dissatisfied with my experience that I feel it’s necessary. I received a manicure from a male manicurist who appeared to be either the owner or a manager. He was very rude, sarcastic, and unfriendly. At one point, he cut my cuticle, which began bleeding. He did not apologize, but directed me to wash my hands. In addition, as there are tanning booths in the back of the establishment, my manicure was continuously interrupted as he attended to other customers. I live on Long Island and normally pay $ 8-$ 10 for a basic manicure. He charged $ 13… While the manicure itself came out ok, I would not recommend this place or, at least, I would not recommend this manicurist.

Just had my pedi done here, decent job but not the ultimate. Paid $ 30. the place is easy to get to, clean and pleasant inside. Nobody seems to speak english so communication is a bit difficult. You are greeted with«choose color» and point to the back of the shop. the nail polishes are nicely displayed with a decent color choice. The woman who did my nails was very careful(i’m alway afraid of getting cut). Polish was applied well. Reason for 3 star is that the exfoliation was done a bit roughly(I have sensitive feet) and then the message was only on my calves — not on feet where I wanted it! I am looking for the ultimate foot message. All in all, the result was pretty nice.

Great place… If I lived in the area this is where I would have nail services done. Very clean, comfortable, nice décor. Love the outcome and price was more than fair.

Clean, quiet and nicely decorated. Services were pretty standard for an Asian salon. The pedicure was mediocre and careless. The nail polish wasn’t applied appropriately. I won’t be coming back.
