This company does NOT follow the law & the FCRA when it comes to screening applicants for their properties. They did a background check on me without my having a showing OR filling out any paperwork. Gretchen called me based on a craigslist ad I responded to & rejected me over the phone, stating they did a ccap on me. I did NOT give them my name, or permission to do so, which is against the law! The owner, Michelle, then called me & back pedaled, stating she would schedule a showing & take my application paperwork & then reject me. BASED on an open ccap case, for a BUSINESS & not me. In Wisconsin, its innocent until proven guilty. Being a long time home owner, home builder & business person, I had no idea how «rental companies» worked. What they did was unethical, unprofessional, condescending & illegal.
