Price and experience with everyone involved — excellent.
Didn’t know who to look at for this service and happened to be in their neighborhood, so I stopped in. Glad I did.
Contrary to my usual rules of due diligence, I didn’t consult with any other company.
Took a chance with them based on reviews and everything went very well.

Our garage door mechanism snapped and the garage door came crashing down. We contacted Middlesex Overhead Doors in Burlington. I recently had a problem with one of my garage doors. The motor died and I could not open the door. I suppose after 25 years I cannot complain. In any case, I went to Unilocal and found Middlesex Overhead Doors. There weren’t a lot of reviews, but the ones there were all very good. I wanted this fixed quickly as it was an inconvenience. I spoke with Shirley in the office and she gave me a complete rundown of my options. There was no hard sell and she was very knowledgeable about the products. I was also very happy with the price. It was less than I had expected. We agreed on what I was going to get and then I asked her when could the work be done. I was certain with the snow we have been having, it would take awhile. Much to my pleasant surprise, she was able to get the work done the next day.
Scott was the person who did the installation. He was right on time and even called me after he left his previous job to let me know he was on his way. He told me it would take a couple of hours (I decided to do both doors since I thought it was only a matter of time before the other motor would go) and that is what it took. Scott was thorough and neat. I had a couple of questions which he answered and he showed me how to program and use the keypad.
I was very happy with both the sales process and installation. I would highly recommend Middlesex Overhead Doors.

Called for a repair to a pulley that had snapped on one of my garage door springs. Was given am appointment window of two hours and they were right on time at 2. They replaced the broken pulley amd lubed both garage doors and told me everything else looked in great shape. Everything was done in about 15 minutes. I will definitely be using them next time.

Since we’ve had a MAJOR blast of cold air the past few days; the garage door is totally insulated and is preventing the pipes from freezing. The garage is definitely not as cold as it used to be. I’m still very pleased and am SO happy to not have frozen pipes! :)

The showroom was great as it was able to show us all of our options. We even took a sample home to make sure it wouldn’t clash with our house. Ordering was easy. But the best part was the time and care they took installing it. It is a long process to remove the old door and install the new one (especially for one guy!). But he did a great job. I would definitely recommend their service.

I don’t know anything about this company. I’ve never had them to the house. However, my home has a garage with no other way to get in except through the garage door. There’s a keyhole and a cable attached to the inside. The cable runs to the manual release but there’s so much slack in the cable that it’s clear that turning the key won’t do anything to make the cable trigger the manual release.
I’d like to ignore this but I didn’t want to have to deal with it in case of a power failure or even worse a motor failure. Would I have to have the door dismantled to get in? Since I couldn’t find any relevant reviews on Unilocal,I searched on Google to find Middlesex Overhead Doors. I called and described the problem. Just told me that the way it works is that after turning the key, I was to pullout the cylinder with the cable attached and pull it myself! Duh!
NO service call to «check out the problem»! «We like to be helpful.» was the response of the person who answered my call and bailed me out of my predicament. Thank you! Thank you!
