I knocked my lamp over and had to buy a new shade. They were pricy online so I decided to check out some second hand stores. I walked in and found a treasure trove of memories.
I highly recommend this place. It wasn’t over priced and the staff were friendly.

Great shop, friendly people. A place were you can sell swap or trade items for something new and unique. I have found many great tools for very great price. They have everything under the moon sun and stars. Stop on by and see what may satisfy your heart soul and spirit …

Ha ha ha, oh Junktiques. What can I say really that the name itself doesn’t already tell you? There is the most random assortment of crap here, from old pencils to lunchboxes, mugs, obsolete electronics, records and clothes. As the sign above the door proclaims, and I quote not verbatim «Everything here is for sale including the fixtures and shelves. There are a couple of things in the store that are not for sale.» Love the way the records were organized: good music, bad music, really bad music.
I found a super funky pair of brown pajama pants in some crazy over-​sized black print, red white and blue suspenders, and a couple of snazzy flamboyant vests. Can’t wait to resize the pants and rock my finds from this spot.
ALSO randomly found this old 80s toy that my sister and I used to fight over all the time, so I scooped that up for her.
The prices are set and the dude doesn’t really haggle. Just FYI. He was rocking some awesomely bizarre tunes. Surreal ambiance.

The epitome of the Old North End– filled with quirky, musty old stuff, some of which is really cool and some of which is just gross– and inhabited by the great Joey Pizza Slice! It had kind of a weird smell the last time I was there, but I’m not sure if that was due to the eclectic clientele or the shop itself.
