History

Established in 2008.

Inner Source Massage + Bodywork is the culmination of a lifelong passion for natural, holistic health care and the desire to empower people with the knowledge of how to take care of their bodies naturally and harmoniously. Emily Walter has been working in the field of holistic health for close to 20 years and is passionate about guiding and supporting others to build a strong foundation that will support wellness in body, mind, and spirit.

Emily’s interest in holistic health began in the mid-​90s which guided her through studies in Midwifery, apprenticing with a homebirth midwife in New Mexico and graduating from Maternidad La Luz in 1999. After 150 happy births and the birth of her own daughter in 2004, Emily’s focus shifted to massage therapy. She graduated from Touchstone School of Healing Arts in 2008 and continues furthering her bodywork studies through The Swedish Institute in NYC. Emily holds advanced certification in Perinatal Massage Therapy which she received through Carole Osborne and Body Therapy Associates. She also studied with the National Institute of Whole Health through their Whole Health Educator and Wellness Coach program and Ulan Nutritional System’s Nutrition Response Testing program. Emily is an attuned Level 2 Reiki Practitioner and pursues studies in Aromatherapy and Aromatic medicine practices. Emily is committed to providing compassionate, holistic care to those she is honored to serve.
