Nice place with good atmosphere. The Pizza is no better than a frozen pizza I can get at the store. There is little to no flavor in the sauce and the meatball toppings have no flavor. The crust is thin but flimsy and doughy.

If you like brick oven pizza this is your place! Great beer on tap as well. And Monday night you can get 2.50 drafts 22 beers, not bad at all.

A friend and I Went here on Friday night to meet up with some other people for dinner and drinks. The Greek Pizza I tried was very good with a great thin crust. and the Tiramuso was a a nice sweet treat. I only gave this place 3 stars because the cocktails weren’t up to par. I had the Pineapple upside down cake martini.(which I was informed when it was brought to me that they were out of Martini glasses???) It was served to me very warm and not refreshing at all. It did have a good flavor but needed to be chilled. for the price points I paid for the drink I was very disappointed in what I got served. So I would recommend this place for the food but skip the cocktails at this place.

Great place for great pizza! I love the staff and the pizza variety. The appetizers are yummy as well. Sometimes the floor is a little messy, but overall great service and food.

This is a great location for a friend and I to meet up-I’m coming from Durham and she is coming from Greensboro. She had suggested pizza and it’s hard for me to turn down pizza! I have only had brixx take out on one occasion so eating in was a new experience for the both of us. It was much smaller than I was expecting. Our server was attentive and when asked questions about drinks, actively sought out the answer and even provided samples of some beer, which was greatly appreciated. My friend and I ordered the rosemary chicken and mushroom pizza and I must say it had good flavor! This would not have been my first pick on the menu, but was surprised by it! After two drinks a piece and a pizza we got out of there for a reasonable price. Thanks for a good experience!

Not pleased 1. No root beer sold out and it was on a Tuesday night ??? Only other drink available was coke products and lemonade .and you boast for having so many beers .what a totally disappointed moment… I don’t drink alcohol 2. Pizza is made on a crust similar to a pita .not a pizza crust at all and very soggy 3. Severed lukewarm 4. Kids eat free night and grandson was never asked what he would like to eat… 5. Samore pizza was fairly good if you simply took off the toppings… because the pita crust was not even warm 6. 310inch pizzas, a order of pasta, and salads with drinks 70 bucks not worth it at all

Their pizza was so on point and the salad we ordered was enough to feed two people without either person feeling cheated. My fiancée and I were extremely impressed at the quality of the food and beverages we ordered, as well as the service! 5⁄5 would definitely come again!

Had lunch at the bar today. Rustica half pizza and salad for 5.99. Greek salad hit the spot and the pizza was extremely good — Italian style thin crust with just the right amount of quality toppings. If you want thick crust pizza with heavy sauce, double cheese, and loaded with toppings, this is not a place for you.

I returned a single star upon a re-visit last month. I was pleased to see Jamie return as bartender and the food quality was slightly improved. I still have reservations about coming back as a regular until it finds new ownership with someone that is more passionate about allowing Brixx to thrive as a pizza PUB, rather than just another cookie-cutter franchised restaurant. This area(and world for that matter) have an over-abundance of corporate, top-down, run-of-the-mill eateries. What we need more of are restaurateurs that thumb their noses at corporate dictators and focus on the customer experience. If I wanted a dry, sterile pizza experience; I’d go and order one online to drink beer with at home. What I desire from a place like Brixx is a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere that I not only look forward to eating at but also to take friends from out of town. As it stands right now, Brixx is only hitting about 30% of what I’d like out of it.

I was disappointed. I was approached by «managers» from Brixx in the Harris Teeter parking lot on South Church St. in Burlington. They talked me into paying $ 20 for a coupon book(buy one, get one free pizzas). One night, I thought I’d use my coupon for take out. I called the number on the coupon book and it was disconnected. I drove over to Brixx. When they realized that I was not eating in the restaurant, no one would help me. I finally got the bartender to take my order. I ordered 2 pizzas to go. I was not impressed by the food or the service. Definitely lost money on that deal. That’s my bad. who buys coupon books in grocery store parking lots ???

Nice outdoor area, great pizza, good craft beer selections, and nice servers. My husband loves the Bronx bomber and a cold red oak. I am more of a a chicken Florence gal with extra feta ;)

Love Brixx but the service was really slow tonight. A table that was seated 10 minutes after us finished their meal and left before we got our pizza and sandwiches.

I like the location… short walk from cinema. Free parking, spacious, clean, caters to families, singles, buddies, besties. Awesome beer selection, extremely awesome. The spinach artichoke dip was good, however… not a good pair with garlic toast/bread. The pita chips are cooked to order $ 2 extra. I did ask for an alternative bread… which paired well with it(no cost).

Brixx is a decent pizza joint with a far too limited selection of pies. The pizzas are quite good(I particularly enjoy the chicken rosemary) and the beer selection is vast. But the pizza selection seems to be a very limited take it or leave it scenario. The staff is friendly and the restaurant isn’t too loud. It’s not the best joint around, but I do wish I could give them an extra half star. They’re above average, but not a first choice for me.

Food isn’t great. I’ve been here for pizza a few times and they’re nothing special. They sound great on the menu, but the crust is bland and there isn’t too much flavor in the toppings. I went a few weeks ago and tried a pasta dish– something with shrimp and bacon. It was disgusting. The sauce pretty much looked like they just dumped some half and half into the plate of noodles and served it. They charge the same amount that a place like Olive Garden or Carabba’s would and you maybe get half the amount of food. They have a nice selection of beers but they’re way overpriced too.

Great location for people watching if you sit outside. The pizza’s are just the right amount to fill you up and the beer choices are good. The service is above average and the place is kid friendly.

Brixx is a wonderful pizzeria located in the heart of Alamance Crossing, and conveniently near the theater. Every time I walk into Brixx, the décor jumps out at me. It is such a cozy and welcoming environment, with large glass windows that are great for people watching. Brixx boasts one of the most spectacular beer selections in the area. They stock all of the local favorites and an impressive number of delicious imports. Now, on to the pizza… In my personal opinion, Brixx has some of the most unique pizza creations! I am always stuck, trying to decide which pizza to order. Now, as great as their pizza selections are, the rest of the menu seems a little lackluster to me. The sandwiches and wraps are decent, but ordinary… And the desert menu is a bit of a disappointment. But hey, this is primarily a pizzeria! So, don’t let my few groups and complaints deter you. It sure has never deterred me from eating here! As a little quick tip, I wouldn’t spend money on the desserts @ Brixx, especially when there is a cold stone creamery well within walking distance :)

Yet another in the ‘specialty pizzas’ line of restaurants that has come to Burlington. This one at Alamance Crossing(in the old Shane’s Rib Shack location) certainly smells good from the outside, kind of like a fireplace. Inside however the vibe is totally different. College aged staff was friendly enough, but very inexperienced. My 9-year old and I were seated and ordered a sprite and a tea. When the drinks came out they were placed on… beer coasters.(«Daddy, what is Guinness?») While we were looking over our menu’s, a group of three came in, sat down, looked over the menus, looked at each other, then got up and left. No clue why, maybe it wasn’t their cup of tea either. The kids’ pizza were simple enough, cheese, peperoni or any other single topping. The adult menu however, very different. Pizzas: Spicy Shrimp, Margherita, Buffalo Chicken, etc… all 10″ They also have specialty sandwiches, I may give that a try for lunch sometime, but just with a 10″ pizza, a kids personal pizza and two drinks we couldn’t get out of there for less than $ 20. Just too pricey for pizza for me. meh. I guess I just don’t get it.
