Description

Specialties

Born of two passionate tea drinkers, Rue Du The in Burlingame is a haven for tea (and chocolate!) connoisseurs in the Bay Area.

Create your own blend at the Loose Leaf Tea Bar. Open the canisters, smell and experience the tea in all of its beauty. It’s the only place around where you can mix aromas to create your own unique flavor. We believe that the only person that needs to like your tea is you, so try something unusual, outrageous and uniquely you!

Enjoy your tea with a sandwich, salad and scone with our Tea Lunch, or bring a friend and enjoy Tea for Two. Dine in our friendly and casual dining room or enjoy a live summer band on our patio.

We believe tea should be relaxing and personal, that you can make it anything you want it to be. There are no expectations or pretentiousness with our way of doing business — we want everyone to feel at ease with tea.

Enjoy our selection of over 60 teas from the Leland Tea Company, named the best tea in San Francisco by SF Weekly. At Rue Du The, tea is our passion, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
