Last summer I gave Rob my ’91 DR350 to work on. It bump started but the kick starter wouldn’t work. After about 4 full months with maybe about 3 total phone calls he gave me (I called him most of the time to see how progress was, it was rare for him to call me even when he said he would, and at one point it must have been over 3 weeks from hearing anything at all) he didn’t figure out the problem and gave me my bike back exactly how I left it with him. One POSITIVE thing was that he didn’t try to screw me by charging me the amount of hours he «actually» worked on it. But considering I sold the bike for $ 600 and he charged me $ 200 I guess he still got the better end of the deal. He was friendly, but I did bring a big tub of parts over when I first dropped it off and I never got the tub back. When I picked up the bike he said he left the tub somewhere (?). In reality I should be leaving a one or two star rating given my overall experience, but I guess he knows his stuff and my case might have been an outlier

I have been a customer here since 2009. Rob the owner is very honest, and direct. He always does a great job for a very fair price at much less the the dealer. I wouldn’t go anywhere else, and I highly recommend this place.

I have my Harley there now being completely restored. I can’t WAIT to get it back. Rob is very busy (as most good shops are) but I have waited my turn and he is just getting going. He is asking me all the right questions to make sure my bike turns out just the way it should. I am very excited. I will update once I get it back! Rob has put me at ease. He knows what he’s doing and my Harley is going to be awesome.

Rob is a rock star! I took my Suzuki GZ250 to him for brakes a few months ago and he did a great job of explaining my bent rotor issue and keeping the cost down.
My bike broke down on the freeway last night (valve issue I let go too long), called Rob and he hooked me up with a friend of his (Ted) who gallantly rescued me and my bike from the side of the road and trucked me back to Rob’s garage. On top of that, Ted gave me a lift to the BART station so I could get home to SF. Amazing service like that just doesn’t happen much anymore.
I have complete confidence that Rob will fix whatever I’ve broken and get me back on the road as fast and as inexpensively as possible.
I won’t take my bike anywhere else!

Awesome place. Owner is very helpful and knows ALOT about motorcycles and cars. Very reasonable prices. I will definitely go there again!

Mini motors is run by one dude who’s very knowledgeable and trustworthy, and helped us understand exactly what was wrong with our 1985 Honda scooter — and fixed it! He couldn’t have been more friendly or likeable, and didn’t charge us very much. Highly recommended.
