Melinda, she is a real piece of work. All I can say is RUN

If you’re looking for someone who is unprofessional and treats you like a red headed step child, see Melinda. After her poor customer service skills and watching the way she treated her employee today, I’ll never return. For the last few years I’ve had my taxes done by Melinda and after today, she’s lost me as well as my family’s business. I felt so sorry for her employee who was covered in red blotches whenever Melinda talked to her. It’s really no loss to me to never use her business again but if she wants to be a boss lady, she’s gonna need classes and learn how to treat people. Perhaps she also needs an etiquette class?

Guess what folks… I’m really an adult. Somehow last year I rented a commercial space, became a master tenant, hired contractors, built dividing walls, and furnished the crap out the place. And all while being legally non self employed. Sound complicated? YES… thank goodness I found Melinda.
After leaving my free tax prep site with a sinking feeling that I’d been shuttled through the tax assembly line rather than served, I asked a friend for a referral and found Melinda. Once she took a look at my documents she immediately grasped the complexities and assured me that more could be done. She ended up figuring out that the initial return was filed incorrectly and got me back an additional $ 1,200 refund! Although it required two drives to Burlingame it was more than worth it.
Melinda is warm and direct and I liked that. She took the time to explain everything to me (within tax lay person reason, of course) and was generous enough to charge me according to the rate from my referral source rather than her new rate, which is also very reasonable. She even offers a sit down to teach you how to handle the tax side of being self employed!
So far so good being an adult, and definitely glad to have Melinda on my team.

Melinda is amazing! She helped me with my taxes this year and I’ve decided I am never again doing my taxes myself. Melinda saved me hours of frustration and helped me to easily and stress free submit my taxes. She rocks!
She is very affordable and I have recommended her to many of my friends who thanks to her got their taxes in, in time without the yearly stress.
