Hilton San Francisco Airport Bayfront

This hotel generally represented Hilton hotels but there are definitely some aspects needed for improvement. The staffs at front desk are not working with passion or friendliness. I got free morning breakfast on the first day of my stay, but don’t have it on the 2^nd day… which is weird and not right since I booked two days’ stay with exactly same deal. The guest service staff answered me impatiently and hanged the phone abruptly. This is totally not what I usually expect at Hilton hotel, and I’m pretty disappointed especially in the aspect of being a HHornor member:(

For the most part our stay at this hotel was nice. It’s conveniently located to the airport. But, the charges for parking are outrageous! Also, why does the parking garage elevator not take you to inside the hotel lobby where it may not be a frigid wind tunnel? It was really disappointing that there was no refrigerator or microwave in the executive rooms. The power was on the fritz during our stay. But most importantly to me was the room service, the food was not as ordered and we were not given the condiments we requested, all of which I might overlook if it weren’t $ 100 for three hamburgers. Very disappointing since the rest of the hotel seemed so nice.

I had a layover here and decided to stay at the hilton. I had a car and saw that there was self parking and valet… Went to their garage and the parking was so full! I kept circling around with others (probably 5 other cars) until I gave up! I went to grab dinner and came back and thought why not valet it. Then the guy refuse to valet my truck! He said go find parking in the garage. Wtf? Luckily I went in the garage and saw someone coming out of their parking slot. So I was pretty lucky. Upon check in, I was greeted and was help right away. Friendly front desk! I even got an upgrade to a king size bed. Tonight must have been a party or something because there was a lot of people in the lobby. Overall hotel is really nice! I probably wouldn’t come back if I am driving since parking was ridiculous!

Wish I had a picture it was like a flash back to an era I wasn’t born yet for! it felt like studio 54! There was a glitter gold speck counter top in my room I immediately envisioned tight fro blonde hair do’s fabulous disco clothing, drinks and other of what nots and unmentionables on that counter top! My stay was short but pleasant with a good night rest! SAdly I bet that counter top has had more fun than I did in that room all I did was sleep!

I wish we could stay here longer. The check in was quick, everyone pleasant and helpful

Crappy shuttle service. I was debating an Über from the airport but I kept deluding myself that the shuttle would show up soon. When I called the hotel for a pick up said the shuttles come every 20 minutes. So far I’ve been here for a half an hour and nothing. I’ve called the Hilton twice, and they said it would be here soon. I’m recommend checking out another hotel chain, I’ve seen plenty of their shuttles go by. I’ve even seen some come by twice.
Still standing here in the could, so I guess I’ll keep writing. The Hilton is a pretty average hotel. Nothing is super clean or super new. Called them a third time and they keep telling me it’s going to be here. I bet the driver is smoking pot. Or dropping acid. Or both. This is San Francisco after all. Can I trade my Elite status to give negative stars? Please?

I recently just had my wedding reception at the Hilton. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! From the food, to the service, it met all of my expectations. Working with Jessica (sales manager) was so much fun. She knew what I wanted and exceeded all of my expectations on what I envisioned for my wedding. My husband and I are so happy with how everything came out. The thing that stood out the most was the venue. The venue makes everything else simple and easy. Having our wedding at the Hilton was literally the best decision we have ever made. They take care of you every step of the way! I will return for more events in the future! Thank you a million times to the Hilton and its staff that had a helping hand in every step of planning and executing our special day!

This is so fucked up what happened here– So me and my soon to be husband went to the Hilton for valentines day-​we had already booked our reservations on line about one month ago for a KING BED BAY VIEW On February 13^th-​14^th. my husband and I go to our normal spot called the melting pot to celebrate valintines day as we usually do. Around 1am we head to our room only to be given a key to a room WITH PEOPLE ALREADY INSIDE!!! We immediately went down to the front desk to let him know that there were people in the room because the tv was on inside as well as the door being locked from the inside !
The guy at the front desk spent hell of time trying too do nothing in his little computer we stood there for 30 mins for him to only tell us he has no rooms avalible aside from a double bed and that he would give us a complimentary breakfast. Are you kidding me??? It’s valentines day, my boyfriend had proposed to me and you think we are going to be in a double bed? We are partners not friends we don’t need a extra bed! And we definitely don’t give a shit about the breakfast what we gave a shit about was our king bed and our Bayview and our plan and proposal that was fucked up thanks to the Hilton and their computer glitches who the guy then told us the next day after we called because we did not stay the night we drove all the way home at 1:30 in the morning living one hour away!
The guy at the front desk I believe his name is Joe who told us that his manager Ryan Edwards would not be back until the next morning and that there was nothing he could do. I cannot believe that Hilton could be capable of such things I come here all the time for the past five years and although we got a refund the money was not the issue it was rather the inconsideration and nothing was done to mend the relationship they have with their clients I see they care more about money that making their clients happy and that just tells me a lot about the business I have been giving my money too for the past 5 year this is something that you would expect from the Holiday Inn never the Hilton!!! You would have thought that they would have offered a little more than a complementary breakfast that day was not just any old day it was not January 2 it was Valentine’s Day so I really feel that Hilton should have done a better job to make up for their fuck ups that had nothing to do with me and my partner but rather their business and this is something that I would never forget

I am a Hilton Honors member, so I chose to stay here the night before my flight back to Long Beach. I was surprised by the inexpensive rate ($ 97 pre tax, Sunday) and was intrigued by its proximity to the bay.
Check-​in: efficient and fast. I was thanked by the female desk agent for being a Hilton loyalty member and she got me up to my room quickly. Very courteous.
Rooms: Nothing to complain about. There was minimal wear-​n-​tear in my room, but everything was spiffy clean. I slept like an angel on my bed and the flat screen TVs worked perfectly. I had a Deluxe room, King bed, with a bay view on the 8^th floor. There wasn’t much of a scenic view… so I was a little disappointed.
Amenities: There’s ²⁴⁄₇ room service, but I didn’t utilize it. There is also a Starbucks machine downstairs in the gift shop. I attempted to make my own hot chocolate, but apparently all the machine sput out to me was hot milk. Front desk was of no assistance in fixing the machine. There was a shuttle that takes you to SFO as well. First shuttle leaves at 4am and comes around every 20 minutes.
Check-​out: The front desk agent who assisted me in check-​out was a bit rude to me and inadequate at his job. The check-​out process took longer than it should have been.
Overall: This hotel did not disappoint. This Hilton SFO Bayfront property provided me with a inexpensive and clean accommodation. I came across in contact probably with half a dozen employees, and their personalities were all a hit or a miss. The bellhops/​baggage people were very friendly in addition to the female desk agent I encountered at check in. The hostess at the hotel restaurant and the check-​out male agent could improve their bed-​side manners. This Hilton property is not up to par with the usual Hilton standard, but it exceeded my expectations as a airport hotel!

I never thought that this would ever happen with a 4 star hotel. Waited 5 hours at the lobby till it could be fixed.

Great place to stay! Enjoyed the executive lounge refreshments. Staff was attentive and pleasant. I have stayed before and will definitely stay again.

I was very suprised at the low price for this hotel. I wanted to see the city but save as much on hotel cost. I went in knowing that I could catch the BART at thr airport, along with hotel shuttle, or catch an Über or Lyft.
I must say it’s always a better idea to book directly through Hilton website vs Priceline even it’s a few extra dollars… lesson learned.
Hotel shuttle service was NOT every 20 min and staff didn’t seem to care. They let me know that it was a 3^rd party service and not under their control.
I finally spoke to Katrina at the front desk and she changed my entire experience. If they could clone her every guest could have an amazing experience.
It was a 3 day weekend so the location was great if you have a longer stay compare prices for hotel including transportation services.

My favorite South San Francisco hotel. Accommodating late night check-​in, late night room service, 24 hour gym, pool until 11pm, late noon check-​out time. Great location, shuttle service to SFO, close to Bart, Caltrain. Shuttle into Burlingame.

I’ve stayed at my share of Hilton hotels and some of them much better than other but I’m very big on cleanliness. The room itself was just okay but once I got into the bathroom I was disgusted. I hate seeing hair and grime period but especially in my bathroom. There was a bunch of hair on my floor hair on my towel and in my sink. Grim around my sink and on top of that my bathroom floor had dirt on it. I’m not sure how much time they put into cleaning these rooms but they definitely have to do better. I highly doubt I will be returning or recommending this hotel.

I always stay here before my 6AM flight back to the midwest. It is just minutes away from the airport and the shuttle service is excellent!
Check-​in: always pleasant and prompt. At times, there is a bit of a line when airline crews come in large groups, but front desk staff are always polite.
Rooms: Large rooms, flat screen TVs, comfy Hilton beds. Always clean!
Lounge: Your typical US Hilton lounge– I’ve never had breakfast, but evening service is great. Love the cookies!
Check-​out: prompt and painless.
Parking: on-​site garage parking– very easy in and out.

Not what I would have expected from a Hilton.
Arrival:
When we arrived no one from valet acknowledged us, we had to find someone to valet our car. When we walked in everything was clean and beautiful.
Customer Service:
Customer service was good, everyone was nice and helpful.
Our room:
We arrived at our room which was clean and nice. It was spacious. The best was large and there also was a nice big desk with lots of plug ins for media devices. The tv was very large as well. However tv viewing was pretty limited. We also were disappointed to find only 2 plastic glasses in the room, I’ve been to cheaper hotels that provided multiple actual glass glasses. We brought wine and thought we would be able to drink it in something other than the plastic glasses we would have to rinse out and use again for brushing our teeth.
Bathroom:
Bathroom was very outdated and dingy. The entire bathroom was old white tiles with dirty discolored grout. It doesn’t look like its been kept up very well. The tiles were cracked, had chips and other marks. The vanity was HUGE and took up way too much space in the bathroom. It was very awkward!
Food:
We ate dinner and has some dessert after our arrival. Food was ok, there wasn’t a lot I could eat (cant have gluten or seafood of any kind) so I chose a salad. It appeared pretty fresh however they drowned it in dressing. It was also very small for a $ 19 salad, it would have been better as a side salad. But it was find because we planned on ordering dessert. We had the bread pudding which was ok. Not the best bread pudding I’ve had. We both agreed the best part of the dessert was the fresh fruit on it haha. We received vouchers for a free breakfast buffet which was decent. They had different options. Again however there was a lot of bread items and seafood which I wasn’t able to eat. But what I did eat was pretty good.

When flying out of SFO early in the morning back home, I’ve learned to stay close to the Airport and not try to make the drive from Cupertino to the Airport — to much can go wrong traffic-​wise and cause one to miss one’s flight.
In the past I’ve stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn North — which is pretty close to the Airport, but it was booked up this time, so I decided to try the Hilton by the Airport.
It feels like an older Hilton but has some upgrades.
In the lobby, there is a bar and restaurant — named Fire Vine Grill & Bar. Good placer to eat — there is a separate Unilocal listing for the restaurant:
Pros:
— Good location for Airport travelers, about a 5 – 7 minute drive to SFO
— Room was clean and comfortable
— AC worked well to keep the room cool
— Free internet access
— Bed was comfortable
Cons:
— No Mini fridge in the room
— HVAC unit — while it worked well, it was noisy. There are much quieter, more modern options available for the hotel to install
— The flat panel HD TV seemed a bit older. There is an AV panel on the desk, but it had no HDMI inputs (see attached pic) and I could find none on the TV to plug my iPad into to watch a movie from my iPad
Overall, not a bad hotel, but other hotels close to the airport, such as HGI — offer mini-​fridges in the room and have more modern HD TVs.
Staff was friendly and nice.

Meh. I’ve experienced better. Yes Unilocal,I believe that’s the perfect description for a 2 Star rating.
The shuttle was timely and wonderful. The restaurant is good and Oscar our server was very hospitable and friendly. We enjoyed our time in the restaurant. But this review is mainly about service recovery and my time being drenched in what I hope was… dirt. Although, it smelt a little funky.
So here I am standing in my warm shower when I smelt something kind of funny. Eh whatever. I look down, «Oh yikes… That airplane I was on must’ve been really dirty…». No people! There is chunks of what I hope is dirt and BROWN WATER COMING OUT OF THE SHOWER. I wanted to cry. I couldn’t continue. I couldn’t brush my hair. So I called the front desk, told them what happened and all they did was send some guy up to my room to change rooms. DO YOU THINK THAT IS ACCEPTABLE? Do you think that is ENOUGH to make your guests happy?

Let me remind you, that is your ‘mission statement’. Giving me a room change and calling it that is not how to «Make It Right». So I had to «Make It Right». Do we see a pattern now? I go downstairs and tell the Assistant Manager, Lawrence Young, my issues and showed him the pictures of the filth I bathe in. He offered me a FREE BREAKFAST. I leave at 4:45AM and giving me a FREE BREAKFAST was what was considered to «Make It Right». I had to tell him what makes me happy. I wanted two nights stay free. He couldn’t give that to me so I agreed with 30,000 points.
So that’s my story. Thanks for trying to «Make It Right». But it wasn’t really done sincerely in my opinion and I hope the next time I stay here that it’ll be better. Moral of the story, you can’t just give everybody the same thing as compensation and expect them to be happy. We all have different needs and wants. I would know.

Grand hôtel Hilton impersonnel à proximité de l’aéroport de San Francisco (proximité relative, car tout de même à une dizaine de minutes en voiture).
La grande et belle réception impressionne, le personnel au comptoir est aimable, mais derrière c’est moins reluisant, car les couloirs, ascenseurs, chambres… donnent une impression vétuste et cracra. Rien déjà que la moquette devant les ascenseurs du rez-​de-​chaussée (que voient donc tous les clients pour accéder à leur chambre) est d’une saleté repoussante. Une rénovation complète né serait pas du luxe !
Dans la chambre, la salle de bain donne la même impression vieillotte et pas clean, tandis que vous aurez le choix entre chauffage (ou clim’ suivant la saison) et nuit calme, le gros bloc de ventilation devant la fenêtre faisant un boucan pas possible. (Heureusement que le climat de SF est tempéré en toutes saisons.)
Les prix né sont pas très élevés, mais faire payer le parking en plus lorsqu’on est en banlieue, c’est de l’abus.
Bref, c’est juste un lit entre 2 avions…

This used to be one of my favorite Hiltons but since summer it has been going downhill. Last week was the worst! They may be cutting costs for the end of the year but they will be losing money with less repeat business customers.
A fridge went down in the executive lounge so the breakfast area is ghetto and cramped. They put out warm sodas and now the cream cheese is not refrigerated– It is just on the counter. I had to ask for condiments because they stopped putting them out. And the lounge is no longer locked, the door just opens when you pull it. Even the Windows service was poor. No one is friendly there anymore and when I asked for my check one night the waiter said I wasn’t his table and to wait for my server. Really?
Laura at the front desk treated me like garbage when I was checking out of my two rooms after a week. Never again.

Klunky, just klunky. Noisy air conditioner, extra charges for parking, local calls, internet, and more. No cooler, front desk only responds to questions with a blank face and ‘Hope you enjoy your stay’ Lousy cheap office chair for desk. No plugs to be found on desktop
now on the other side. short walk to elevators from underground parking. nice view of planes landing,
the value is just not there for the much higher price. Holiday inn here I come.
