Although I have heard good things about Dr Ribera, I have left 4 messages on his answering machine over a 3 week period during normal business attempting to schedule an appointment and have not received 1 call back. If the office is unable to manage requests or if Dr. Ribera is not accepting new patients, this should be clearly noted.

Dr. Ribera was friendly and to the point. Told me what I needed to know for my colonoscopy. The facility he used in the building, The Endoscopy Center, was convenient and efficient. Things went well, other than him running behind (no pun intended) that day so I had to wait 1 – 1.5 hrs, but that was because he had some difficult cases just before me. I know you can’t predict how each surgery will turn out so I understand the delay… especially since I don’t need to do it again for another 10 years.

Very friendly and on point, Dr Ribera paid close attention to me and what I had to say. He checked me for many different things and you can tell he’s got experience.
I wish he could be my main doctor!

Look, even gents with great hair on top have to also pay attention to their bottoms… that where Dr. Ribera comes in… literally!
At my age, a regular colonoscopy is smart preventative medicine… but who EVER wants one? Not me. So I reluctantly went to Dr. Ribera on the recommendation of my internal medicine doc (and the insistence of my younger wife– wait until she has to get one!). Dr. Ribera is all aces in my book– he takes the time to explain the procedure, has a very calming demeanor and apparently is quite good at navigating my colon. The prep liquid is horrific but the actual procedure was very mild and I got color glossy photos of my (now) healthy colon! And my health insurance (don’t get me going on ObamaCare…) paid for most of it.
I know… too much information… but seriously, Dr. Ribera is The Man to See for colon and GI health.
It’s a bit off standard but… Dr. Ribera… you’re HIRED!

Unlike one of the other reviewers, I had no trouble getting an initial appointment with Dr. Ribera, even though I had never been treated by him before. After visiting my general practitioner Dr. Maricar Pacquing regarding gastrointestinal symptoms, my blood test results showed pretty extreme anemia. Dr. Pacquing was immediately concerned and referred me to Dr. Ribera’s office. Dr. Ribera’s office contacted me immediately and I was in their office for my first appointment within a couple days. Further blood tests indicated celiac disease, so I went in for an upper endoscopy, which confirmed the diagnosis. Since I had to be given a sedative for the procedure, I needed to have a ride home, but my boyfriend had been called out of town for work at the last minute so I just figured I would call a cab. The endoscopy center where the procedure was performed told me Dr. Ribera might tell me to reschedule, as I should have a person I know take me home because of the effects of the sedative; they didn’t want to send me home with some strange cabbie, which is a factor that didn’t even occur to me. Dr. Ribera not only performed the procedure, but had a member of his office staff personally drive me home afterward. I know that it is just to cover liability issues, but I also know now that any other doctor might have made me just reschedule. All in all, I have found Dr. Ribera and his staff to be competent, concerned, and responsive. I’m also glad to finally find out what is wrong with me so I can make the necessary adjustments to my lifestyle and feel better. Gastrointestinal problems are painful, embarrassing, and inconvenient, and I’m just grateful to have a specialist who is knowledgeable and experienced to help me deal with mine.

Definitely NOT accepting new patients — can’t deal with the patients he has — Called in July — only opening is in OCTOBER unless you want to come in and sit and wait until he can get to you.
I will admit, I have had a good experience with him, but his office staff is terrible. Rude, put on hold then abandoned.

Dr. Ribera is a serious, dedicated physician. He handled my colonoscopy and «it went like buttah». Very professional, very efficient. He absolutely knows what he’s doing and handles things well. Not a pal-​around guy, you’re in, he addresses your questions, explains everything well, then you’re out and done. He’s your Doctor, not your buddy. His office is clean, efficient, and friendly… but they do not validate parking… so bring a buck.
