History

Established in 1973.

David H. Fell & Company of Los Angeles has been serving the refining needs of customers in California, the West and around the U.S. for 40 years. We purchased Young Laboratories of San Francisco in 2011, and to satisfy customer requests for improved security, better local amenities and easier freeway access we recently relocated our office about 12 miles south to Burlingame, CA.

We still offer total transparency during your transaction — you are able to witness all aspects of your melt, sampling and assay — but now we feature state of the art induction furnace and XRF technology to provide settlement times as fast as 45 minutes.

And of course, we still offer competitive payout rates and an array of settlement options to suit your needs. We look forward to doing business with you in the near future.

Now with satellite offices providing melt and assay services in the Phoenix and Las Vegas areas as well. Our main refinery is located in Commerce, CA.

As a young man, David Fell (Larry’s Father) learned his craft at one of America’s largest refiners and suppliers of mill products. He dreamed of creating his own company that would reflect his personal view of business: to offer the highest quality products, honest refining services, and personalized attention to his customers, all for the lowest possible price.

Since 1973, David H. Fell & Company, Inc. has been doing just that. Through their consistent demand for excellence and unyielding integrity, David and Larry have built a company they can be proud of, with a rock solid reputation for quality in the precious metals industry.
