Very sorry that Linda T was not satisfied with our services. I have looked into this, and the primary person that did the account is no longer with the firm. As far as I can tell none of the principals of the firm were consulted or knew of any problems.
We always strive to give the best and highest level of service to all of our clients. I feel that if this client had a chance to consult with a principal of the firm she would have received overall satisfaction.

Many years ago, I hired this firm because I needed a professional company to help me with my tax needs. Over the last few years and many conversations later, my tax debt grew exponentially so recently I sat down with one of their CPA’s to find out why my situation was continually getting worse. I was disappointed when I was told that there was nothing I could do about the situation and wasn’t offered any type of advice as to how I could improve my overall tax issues.
I know very little when it comes to taxes but I felt that something was wrong with this entire situation so I decided to meet with a CPA from another firm to see if I was truly out of options. After an hour of looking at my past tax returns, I was told that my best option would be to amended my last 2 years of taxes because there were noticeable mistakes. Once they finished, they found mistakes of over $ 10K plus helped me to restructure my business so that my tax situation for the future decreased dramatically.
When I e-​mailed Crisafi, Pryor, Farquar, and Sorensen to let them know the reasons why I was leaving, I expected a closing statement for recent payroll activities but was surprised when I received a bill for for a consultation they arranged to tell me I have no options after they fired the person who had previously worked on my taxes.
As a business owner, these are not the types of business practices I expect from other businesses. So I cannot recommend.

So for as long as I’ve made money, these guys have been doing my taxes, and have been doing my parents taxes for over 30 years.
I’ve never had a problem with these guys and think they’re great. Their prices are very reasonable, but are definitely not low end. But hey. They do good tax returns, compared to the terrible 19.99 tax returns from a bigger place like H&R Block.
Another thing I like about CPFS is that when I call, a real person answers the phone, unlike most companies today who send you through a painful automated system. If my personal CPA, (David Pryor) isn’t able to speak to me right when I call, I can rest assured that he will promptly get back to me.
This CPA firm has delivered for me time and again.
