Meme is the best esthetician. Her work is so meticulous and thorough. Meme’s touch is so gentle and relaxing. I look forward to my sessions with her. My skin looks amazing and I love the energy work she does at the end of each session. I drive an hour and a half to see her. She is worth it!

MeMe is the best! I’ve been going to her for the past ten years (I can’t believe I’m just now giving her a review). What makes her the best you ask? Three things:
(1) Simplicity. She doesn’t have a menu of services; she listens to your skin and does what it needs. She’s like the horse whisperer, but for skin!
(2) Kindness. MeMe is one of the most spiritual and kind people I know. She doesn’t do this for the money; she does this for a living and she shares with me all the time how good it feels to help people with severe skin problems. Yes, she charges $ 100, but that encompasses all of it; waxing, tinting, microdermabrasion, masks-it’s all included and it varies depending on two things; the season and again, what your skin is requesting. Also, the products she uses aren’t cheap; many of which she orders from Europe!
(3) Professionalism. MeMe is extremely professional; she lets you know when it might be a good idea to schedule in advance. She makes sure you like the way you look before you leave. In my case, I prefer to have a little bit of makeup on and so she applies that for me. Also, she explains in great detail what my skin is telling her so that I can better treat it in between visits.
I must admit that I hesitate a little in sharing all of this because MeMe is my very BEST secret to maintaining healthy, younger looking skin. I’m already booking multiple months in advance, but if anyone deserves a fabulous review, it is MeMe!

Meme is THE BEST! My daughter has had acne issues since she was 12. She’s tried it all. The market sold it, I bough it, and the product didn’t work on my daughter, not even her doctor’s products worked. I’ve taken her to see a few facialists, but still nothing helped.
I did a search online for a new facialist and came across Change of Seasons. I made an appointment and off the bat Meme told me what was one of the major issues that my daughter was having. She was the only one to catch it, and now my daughters skin is no where near how it once use to be.
My daughter LOVES her appointments with Meme. Meme is patient, sweet, knows what she’s doing, and does her magic without causing pain. My daughter always comes out glowing and with a huge smile.
Meme’s fees are not cheap, but for the quality of work that she provides I’ve never complained or felt it was too much. My daughter has found her facialist and vows to never let any other facialist work on her skin. Thank you Meme!!!

I’ve promised a review after one month. Time passed and I keep coming back to her, so that meant a lot if I’m a repeat client!
Although she would want to see me less often than once a month (I’m getting close to it!) and see me every 2 – 3 months, that would be great! My face is almost flawless with a few bumps or minimal pimples around that time of the month. It’s almost back to how it was a few years ago. Pain-​free and almost no cystic acne!!! This woman is absolutely amazing and so honest.
My face has never had another esthetician since I’ve met Meme. She’s an absolute doll and I feel the weight of the world off my shoulders when I walk out of her spa. She’s my go-​to-​lady for everything with my face as well as a therapy session. She really reminds you to take care of yourself first.
When I go too long without an appointment with her, I scramble to look at my calendar to see when my NEXT appointment is. Anyone that needs a good facial should be seeing Meme every few months. I’m now scheduling all my appointments with her and almost always walk out of there with another appointment scheduled.
I would keep referring her to anyone that would listen to me rave about Meme!

Went to my appointment and she’s AMAZING!!!
Picking, microdermabrasion, chemical peel, waxed my eye brows, AND put on makeup for me before I left.
She’s honestly the best and I won’t go anywhere else from now on!!! Ok, I might go get a chemical peel done from time to time elsewhere ONLY if she is booked. Otherwise, my face is yours Me Me!!! =)
She doesn’t just clean my face, she talks to me and cleansed my soul! She can tell my acne is due to stress and she advised me to rid my life of these stressors.
Might end up in jail if I rid myself of my ex. hahaha. But, I don’t plan on ridding myself of him in any way. I have simply come to terms with things and I have gained inner peace. And if he ever comes back into my life I will be able to be his friend, minus any pain.
She also made me notice my bad habit of clenching my jaw. I didn’t realize it until she mentioned it, but I clench my jaw when i’m cold or stressed or having a bad dream. HOW DOES SHE KNOW? Well, I asked her and she just said a lot of the irritation is in that area.
She’s not gonna just do what you pay for and hurry you out. She really is there to help you… inside and outside with your acne problems. AND I APPRECIATE that kind of service!!!

MeMe is really great. Today was my first day seeing her and I am so pleased with the results. The facial I had was unlike any other one I’ve ever done (for around the same price!)
She made me many promises about not looking too wild and crazy after she was done and it was true! After every facial I usually am ashamed to ever show my face for a few days, but within a few hours after seeing MeMe I knew that my skin was more clear and had already settled down.
She never pushes anything onto you and explains everything she’s doing very clearly. I felt like the way she did extractions was a lot gentler than any other person I’ve seen and I feel refreshed and new! I was also given a free sample of a concealer powder!

Meme is the greatest! She fixed the damage a local dermatologist did and in two months just before my wedding! Thank you Meme. I have never looked so good.

I love this place! Meme’s a one stop shop. Waxing included in the facial as well as eyebrow and eyelash tinting if you want it. She tells you what you need for your skin but doesn’t always recommend the products she sells. she’s told me to get a certain product I could get from Walgreens. this I love because it really shows that she cares about her clients skin. My mom see’s her too and absolutely loves her. I’ve noticed a difference in my skin since I’ve been her client and probably go about once every three months. Hidden gem!

Meme has an extremely well established clientele and absolutely does not need my business. Her hours are part-​time Wed-​Fri 9am-​5p, smack dab in the middle of a work day. I had to take about 3 hours off in the middle of the day to drive to an appointment from Mountain View (where I work) to her in Burlingame. Appointments have to be made at least 1.5 to 2 months in advance. She charges $ 85, this is for anything she feels your skin needs including waxing and microdermabrasion. She is very thorough in her extractions, but her hours are too inconvenient. And if you try to make an appointment months in advance, when the time gets closer, something may come up such as an important meeting at work, you get sick, etc. Other than that, I did see great results after seeing her.

For my birthday my daughter sent me to see Meme for a facial what a great gift.
It was so relaxing and my skin looks great thanks to Meme.
She did not try to sell me a bunch of different products like other places.
My daughter and I love her.
Can’t wait to go back and see her.

Meme is an amazing esthetician! Her facials are more technical which results in beautiful skin. She explains what she is doing which puts you at ease. She pays attention to all of the little details and really personalizes the facial to your skin. I would highly, highly recommend!

Meme Matsuno is amazing. Not only does she do all the normal skin treatments, microderm abrasion, extractions and cleansing, she also includes eyebrow waxing and last tinting in her standard facial. She has a very holisitic and natural approach, while still getting results. All it takes is one visit and you are hooked!
