Branden Grant – Home Loans

I bought a home this summer and got the mortgage through Branden Grant (when he was working at W.J. Bradley). I had bad experience with Branden and W.J. Bradley and would discourage everyone I know to do business with them.
Among many bad things that happened, there were two things that made my home purchase experience very unpleasant.
1) Branden was extremely friendly and responsive *before* I was under contract (that was why I chose to work with him among a few loan officers that I have contacted), but after I signed a no-​contingency offer (which is not an unusually thing in hot market like San francisco bay area) he became less and less responsive, and eventually was literally unreachable. My realtor and I spent a few days tried to get in touch with him, at last we had to find other loan officer at W.J. Bradley to pick up what he left. We didn’t close the escrow on time.
2) At beginning, Branden told me I had a few choices to choose from. Some of the options had very attractive interest rate. However, again, after I was under contracted, he told me I’m not eligible for the low interest options because of various reasons. I ended up getting a loan with high interest rate. Because I signed no-​contingency offer I didn’t have time to switch to another mortgage company. I have to look into refinance my home 3 months after I purchased the home.

We were introduced to Branden by our real estate agent.
Branden told us that he could offer competitive rates, a quick closing, and said he would be available to quickly send us a pre-​approval letter whenever we needed it. Branden was true to his word, except for the quick closing due to circumstances beyond his control (went from a 21 day close to about a 30 day close).
Branden was very professional, knowledgeable, and answered questions in a timely manner.

Branden is great! He was super easy to work with. I know we asked him LOTS of questions throughout the process but he was always quick to reply back with answers. Buying a house is stressful enough but Branden made the process as smooth as possible for us.
Will definitely work with Branden again in the future!

He was very responsive to our endless questions. Give every necessary detail we need to know, and guided us through the process.
He worked really fast to close the process. He also found out the lowest mortgage rate possible that suits our needs.

With Branden, actions speak louder than words. He is professional, reliable, and hard working. I can always count on him to get back to me with answers. Recently, Branden helped one of my clients with their loan. My clients were working with their own lender when they ran into issues, where they were told that they would not qualify for the loan unless they put more money down, which was difficult with their situation. So I recommended Branden and he was ready to help. My clients were able to purchase the home with low down payment, less time and a lower interest rate. Branden is excellent! He helped us with all the financing when purchasing our first home last month. It was a very laborious process, but he works quickly and he made it go as smoothly as humanly possible! He is such a warm person and we immediately trusted him. He made himself available to receive texts and phone calls and always responded promptly. We were new to the process and really looked to Branden to guide us and teach us and we could not be happier with our experience. He answered all of our questions and I know that he had our best interests at heart. He worked hard to secure us the best rate and we are grateful to have had him in our corner.
I would enthusiastically reccommend Branden to family and friends and he will be the one we go to as our lender for all our future endeavors. We cannot thank you enough, Branden!

Working with Branden on my refinance loan was great! He kept me informed throughout the process, set my expectations and coordinated with his team so I understood the next steps along the way.
We hit a few stumbling blocks towards the end, no fault of theirs, and without Branden, I don’t know what i would have done. He kept me hopeful and optimistic that we would close in the time frame he promised and they fixed the issues on my behalf as well.

Update to my latest experience working with Brenden. He recently helped me refinance my loan and made it so easy. He is always available for questions and very helpful through the experience and after all transactions have been completed. Very good experience.
Brenden is #1 for all his hard work and effort he put in for me. I was devastated that my funding was falling apart with another lender. My realtor recommended Brenden to me to try and recover and save the house I really wanted and had my heart set on. He was able to get the funding for me and in record time. Brandon was super responsive to all my questions and worked non-​stop till the funding was approved. Branden is awesome! Thanks to him we managed to get approved and close the loan in less than a month. On top of all this loan conditions were very competitive. Not many of my friends believe it’s possible at all but that’s the case: I came to open house w/​o pre-​approval and 3 weeks later I’m an owner of the property.
