I have been a Process Server for 20 years now. I decided to open Are You Being Served? after learning the business and wanting to give my clients personal service. Are You Being Served? has now been in business for over 17 years.

I have lived in San Mateo County all my life and have a great knowledge of all the areas of the San Francisco Bay Area. We can handle jobs small jobs or larger more complex assignments. I personally serve all the Bay Area counties myself, however, if something is out of my zone I can provide the highest service in the most trusted process servers all over California and The United States. Nothing is ever guaranteed but I will guarantee you this: I will work hard for you and go to all lengths to ensure your satisfaction when you contract my services. Jeff is fantastic! I had to serve papers for a small claims court but couldn’t find the right address for the defendant (their office closed and no other address was listed). Jeff found a secondary address, and promptly filed all the paperwork. Thank you Jeff!

My firm has used Jeff on a number of occasions to file documents. The best way to describe Jeff is by saying he has a «get it done» attitude. Whatever the task, he will simply get it done for you as efficiently as possible.
It is of utmost importance that when you are hiring somebody to perform these types of services, you hire somebody that knows the courts in the area inside and out. Jeff certainly meets these criteria.
Jeff should be at the top of your list for a process server. He is prompt, reliable, and just really good at what he does.

I needed to serve a company (defendant) for small claims court. I was recommended by the courts to look into a process server since I had no idea what I was doing. I found «Are you being Served» on Unilocal.Jeff answered his phone right away and went out of his way to meet me an hour later. I met with him and gave him my paperwork and he took as long as I needed to explain the process. He was in no rush. He was so easy to talk to and very professional. He told me the day he would serve the defendant and he did it that exact day and called me to tell me what happen. He was in no rush to explain to me how it went. He has been doing this kind of work for 21 years and to have all five star rating on Unilocal says everything. Without hesitation I give Jeff and his company another five star rating.

I use Are You Being Served all the time as an attorney. If Clients need an expungement (dismiss an old criminal case), and don’t know their case numbers, or when they were convicted, or anything *(which is often), Jeff figures it all out. He is very thorough. He will get all the official records of a case, and dig in all kinds of places, and get me the documents, certifications, and information I need to help serve clients better. He goes above and beyond. He gets the job done. One time I asked him to find out if any outstanding arrest warrants existed on a client and he got me the answer! No. Client was thrilled, and I looked like a hero for finding out. Thanks Jeff.

I have come across many process servers as an attorney, and in my experience, a fantastic server is definitely few and far between. Many are not adept and a lot of time and money are wasted as a result. Pink, on the other hand, is an outstanding process server! I want to take a moment to thank Jeff Pink at Are You Being Served for all his help to my lawyer, Alex Lubarsky who was fighting a guilty verdict on a traffic violation that I was NOT guilty of violating.
Jeff assisted in filing paperwork all the way up in Santa Cruz for me due to the fact I was pregnant and couldn’t file myself and the 2nd time even assisted with less than 24 hours notice! I was recovering still from the birth of my child when I was asked by the court to pay part of the fine in order to attend traffic school. I could not drive; so I contacted Are a You Being Served and the next morning it was taken care of!

Process Service isn’t easy. Are You Being Served has done an outstanding work for me. Two great aspects of their service that really count are 1.) they really know the Bay Area well and 2.) they know the courts and their procedures. So, you know when you hire them, they have the best chance of finding people and getting the papers properly through the court process.
