A cute little bar, was definitely a younger crowd, 25 – 35 would be the age range, I’d say. Drink prices were reasonable. Service was slow and the bartender kept complaining to one of the other employees, right in front of me and my friend. They open the garage style doors to the patio which is nice. Live music while we were there and the performer, Evin Brady, was amazing. Bathrooms have no ventilation, so in the short time it takes you to use the restroom and wash your hands, you are covered in sweat. Overall atmosphere was okay, would definitely give it another shot and see if it was just a bad night.

Great place to hang out and blow time. Great food and musicians. My fave are the fried pickles. Good people and good food!

Food is amazing! They’ve expanded which allowed for a pool table, darts and shuffleboard table. My favorite place in Old Town Burleson!

Let me start by saying that I’m sure this place is 4 or 5 stars on a Friday or Saturday night. But we ventured in for lunch on a Sunday. Place was dead. We had a baby with us not knowing they didn’t have any normal height tables. I went with a gator taco and fish taco. Both were pretty good. My wife went with a spud with chili and pulled pork I believe. It was not very good at all. The whole restaurant only had one waitress as she is the only one that was needed. She was nice and attentive enough to help give them 3 stars instead of 2 with the thought that it is much better at night.

We had a group of 18 and they did a great job taking care of us. From dinner to copious amounts of booze, we had a blast. Oh yeah, the boxing game on the deck was a big hit.

I love this place. Both my wife and I love the food and the beer is cold and the selection is nice. I am in love with the stuffed avocado and my wife loves the gator bowl. We had burgers and onion rings last time we came in, best onion rings I had ever had! Never would you think this place from the outside would produce some of the best food I have ever had. Try it and fall in love with the food just like we have

Pretty cool lil shack, not very large but I like their laid back atmosphere ! Nachos were good. Service is hit or miss when I’ve attended. May want to turn down the bands a tad it’s a small place, you can’t talk to guests when the performer is that loud.

Love this place! All the food is amazing! The lunch specials are great and affordable, I also go for dinner. Live music in the evenings and they have a covered open patio.

The pork tacos omg so so good! The chips and salsa is very good to I was presently surprised. The queso was different than most places but we all enjoyed it. We will go back as long As the noise level stay reasonable.. We went during a football game so noise wasn’t bad. But have been in past where it was so extremely loud we left.

The food is amazing! ! The service is horrendous! Just stopped in to have the stuffed avocado and watch football. The jerk running the place turned the sound on the game off and turned music up??? Would give them 5 stars if they would just up their game on service. Any time you need anything you have to go find a server. But the food is so good I can’t stay away!

I love Spice rack. I googled the name and searched Unilocal for the reviews. Spice rack had me at organic and local. We stopped and glad we did. Their Queso is better the Frescos. Well, Frescos is awesome, but I am a Queso Blanco lover. The first time I had the Venison and Gator tacos. sooo good. Then tried the Venison kabobs. Last week we went and I got the Grilled Avocado. I wanted to try it because of the reviews on Unilocal said it was good. I love Avocado and I didn’t like it. I was thinking it would be presented differently. Like the food actually stuffed in the Avocado and not just thrown on top. It looked like pig slop. What I had looked NOTHING like the picture that a reviewer posted. I guess a different Chef that night. My husband always gets the gator bowl and it’s really good. Despite the grilled Avocado, it still gets 5 stars.

I love local places. And Burleson needs some excitement. The Spice Rack has a good feel with friendly service. The place is a bit small so not sure how it would be on a busy night. We only had drinks and appetizers. The service was very friendly, suggested new things and very eager to please. The calamari was over cooked and over priced. The stuffed jalapeños on the other hand were delicious. Stuffed with cream cheese and sausage topped with bacon and some house sauce. They had great flavor and wish I had more! I’m very curious about the rest of the menu. Would definitely like to go back and try again.

Nachos are out of this world, casual atmosphere, cold beer and music, our server was Rachel and hands down best service I’ve ever had, ps… You must try the stuffed avacado

Well my husband and I finally tried this place one night last week and were not too impressed. The turkey wrap was pretty good but a little too spicy on the sauce. The fries were horrible, very soggy and greasy. The one good thing about this place is the bartender had a heavy pour so we got our money’s worth on our rum and cokes. The service was good. The barstools are not comfortable, my legs fell asleep, so you would not enjoy hanging out at the bar too long. Might give it a second chance but not too sure yet.

This place is a hidden treasure, in Burleson, as far as the food is concerned. Their two Le Cordon Bleu trained chefs use all local ingredients, made fresh, and organic produce to create a unique menu choice with a delightfully outstanding taste. I have been working my way around the menu over the last few Weeks and everything I have tried has been a unique creation and a tasty suprise. The pride they take in the preparation of their food shows. The grilled stuffed avocado is awesome! Their tacos are great… I especially like the venison and the duck. It took awhile for me to try something other than the pulled pork nachos, because I initially was hooked on them. I tried the egg rolls this afternoon, along with another grilled stuffed avocado, and really enjoyed the egg rolls as well. I think this place has a reputation in Burleson as a «Hooters» type of sports bar, which I believe has prevented them from experiencing the kind of growth and popularity that the quality if their food warrants, which is a shame, because the reputation is not deserved. A large family, with children, were enjoying lunch the last time I was there. I am hoping that the owners will work to change that reputation in town, because I want to see this restaurant survive and thrive. I’m now coming here for my Sunday lunch, instead of Frescos. Because the food is better and the prices are more reasonable. Give the Spice Rack a try and you will be pleasantly suprised!

Went during lunch during the week and had the«Taco Thursday» Special. I had two shrimp tacos with chips and salsa. Both were yummy. My mom had the chicken tacos and were also really good. We will return.
