History

Established in 2009.

The Metta Center, LLC was founded by Leah Farnsworth, CMT. The three massage therapists that work at the metta center have a total of 27 years of massage experience and 2500 hours of massage therapy and related training. Each therapist is uniqure in their approach to offer you the most customized and therapeutic session for you. You can schedule an appointment with Certified Massage Therapists Leah Farnsworth, Amy White or David Nix.

The Metta Center is located within the Wellness Center which is a wellness cooperative composed of fellow massage therapists, acupuncturists, pilates and yoga instructors.

Meet the Business Owner

Leah C.

Business Owner

Leah is a Certified Massage Therapist. Leah founded the Metta Center after working at a spa and finding that her passion is in therapeutic and rehabilitation massage therapy. Focus on chronic pain relief and rehabilitation is primarily achieved through deep tissue massage, profound stretching, and use of heat. A strong foundation in Swedish and deep tissue techniques paired with intense study of anatomy and physiology has led to Leah’s indepth understanding of the body’s musculoskeletal system’s structure and function.

Her bodytherapy is inspired by metta or «loving kindness» and aims for results while expressing compassion for her clients.
