The level of customer service at this office is amazing! I have always hated going to the dentist and I never thought I would say this but I am looking forward to my next visit!

I am so happy right now. Last night I was diagnosed with the need for a root canal… to the tune of over 2,000 dollars. My now former dentist was happy to diagnose me with such, claim the need for a specialist because she doesn’t do root canals, and then start racking up other so called cavities in my mouth that were going to cost me a bundle to fix. When I found out my insurance was not going to cover such a thing I got upset. When I went to leave she told me when I got my money problems figured out I could come back. Is that a bedside manner?
So I looked at Unilocal reviews for dentists near me and found this place. The woman I called who was closing up the office took her time to talk to me. She was totally sweet and I got a good feeling about the place.
So today I went for my appointment, scared to death it would be awful and cost me more than I had on my care credit account. I was taken back almost immediately, the assistant was also so sweet, and we got right to business with my tooth.
The dentist came in after seeing my x-​ray and said she was just not convinced I needed a root canal based on what she saw on the film. After further analysis she concluded that the filling I had in this tooth had come loose and cracked. The pain I had been having was likely due to food particles getting underneath it and hitting some part of the tooth that is extra sensitive and not usually exposed. She discussed options with me and we decided together that what she could do was remove the bad filling and do something called an inlay. This procedure was 1500 less than the root canal!
She got right to work on it and pretty soon they were molding a new tooth piece for me. They have a special machine that takes 3D photos of your mouth and allows them to craft teeth that fit very well. Both her and her assistant were as gentle as they possibly could be given the nature of the procedure. They were attentive, made sure I was numb, and were really good about checking in and letting me know what they were doing before they did it. Needless to say this was the exact experience I was hoping for from a dentist.
I’m already home and the numbness has just about worn off. The tooth feels like my own, the pain is gone and I am back to just fine again. This is the dentist you want to see!!!

I had to go in for a root canal and crowns. Dr. Olson and his staff are great. I had a great experience and would recommend anyone to go to this office! I am very pleased with the work I had done!

Everything was fantastic. It wasn’t the best time in the world but for the dentist it was perfect. Everything was explained perfectly and I was given options of what they could do. The best part, it seemed like they weren’t after my wallet like most Dr’s. It’s nice to have a place like this close to work.

I have been seeing Dr. Olson for several years and I have never been happier with a dentist!!! He is knowledgeable and they use the newest technology. All of his hygienists and assistants are professional and friendly and I always feel comfortable. Going to a dentist is never the funest thing but I look forward to my checkups and my teeth have never felt more healthy :) keep up the good work! I have referred all my friends and family to see Dr. Olson.

Everyone at Town Square Dentistry has treated me with sincere care and professionalism. They all take the time to answer my questions, and when I’ve had a procedure the doctor has called me at home to see if I’m doing alright. Sarah, my hygienist is thorough and explains what she’s doing and is gentle. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I have been a patient here for many years. They have always delivered great customer service and excellent dental care. I have a hectic schedule and they always accommodate my time constraints when coming in for a cleaning. Sarah is a fantastic hygienist. If you ever need work done that requires numbing, Dr. Olson is a magician with a needle, you won’t feel a thing. I love that they have the technology to get a crown done in a single visit too. I have recommended this office to many friends and family members and they have been very satisfied.

This is the best dental office I’ve visited on my life. Staff are courteous and professional, the place is spotless, and they never berate me for neglecting my oral health. Most importantly, the work they do is great the first time. I recommend them all the time, to everyone.

The team at Town Square Dentistry provided strong service and an excellent experience from start to finish. The staff was very willing to work my visit into their schedule during the busy holiday season. Great atmosphere in the lobby and welcoming staff as I waited for my spot in the chair. And once in the chair, a gentle and thorough check-​up with good explanation of what was needed and what wasn’t. The practice offers advanced technology which made x-​rays quick and even allowed the hygienist to show me images of teeth that were in concern. This helped me to feel very involved and informed. Overall, this practice took great care of me and I will recommend them highly in the future.

After getting a clean bill from my old dentist (before moving) I tried this practice. At my first visit they said I needed a crown, two onlays, and four fillings– 11 hours and $ 3k+ worth of work. I said that my old dentist had brought me up to date and asked if they were just more aggressive? The snarky response I got was, «if we was being aggressive we’d do X, Y, and Z too.» The dentist was un-​empathetic, unapologetic, and didn’t even make any recommendations for preventative measures to avoid this sort of thing. (Town Square didn’t even ask about my brushing or flossing habits, much less recommend that I double-​down to stop future problems. Past dentists have prescribed strong fluoride or recommended anti-​plaque rinses or something…)
When I suggested I didn’t have the money the response was «Well, this is what you need and if you delay, worse things could happen.» Not a good experience. At. All.
I called my old dentist who looked at my x-​rays as I read her the «treatment plan» and she recommended I get a second opinion. I got a second opinion which was one onlay and two fillings– from a friendly dentist who understood where I was coming from.
I have no problem with extensive dental work– I have bad teeth and this happens. But the very cold, somewhat defensive response I got at Town Square that showed no interest in actually stopping my teeth from getting worse was a total turnoff. Plus the difference in 2^nd opinion speaks for itself.

Going to the dentist is never going to be awesome for me. I have been cursed with shoddy teeth, and they always need work. That being said, this place is the best dental experience I’ve ever had — particularly Drs. Schneider and Papac. They are always cool with me asking a bunch of questions, taking pictures on my iPhone and have worked with me on payment plans if the work is more than I can afford. They always work with my insurance company to get the work pre-​approved and it almost always comes in under the estimate. Their front office staff and dental assistants are great, too. I will continue to drive to Burien for their service because a good dentist is sooo worth it.
