Yesterday with a fever of 101.8, an absist the size of a golfball in my throat, and the flu to top it off, I road a bus to the Highline medical center ER. Unable to swallow my own saliva, unable to speak, unable to eat, good luck sleeping, and trying not to caugh, I was given a bed first priority. The initial Dr said she was going to call this EMT specialist or something, whatever, it came to be Patrick H McClean, MD. She went on giving me pain, nausea, antibiotics, IV’s medications for awhile, I lay there slowly feeling a bit better. After 3 hours I could speak slightly better, but still the absist remained. The lady Dr came in saying she finally spoke with McClean, and he wanted her to give me a steroid for tonight and have me follow up with him in the morning, I honestly didn’t want to leave without the operation but he gave me little choice. So in compliance this morning I called his office, and a secretary won’t let me speak to him because my insurance isn’t covered with his office. The absist remains, this asshole cost me whatever bills I get from last night at the ER, and I still have to go get it taken care of. I know my insurance isn’t accepted by his office, but I would never go there even if I did, this is a most unprofessional Emergency Room release I have ever had in my life, and you mcclean owe me probably $ 1000, and 7 hours of my life back.
