HTTC has been in the educational tutoring business for 30 years in the King County area. We are able to help students of all ages with most subjects. Our teachers are experienced tutors or classroom teachers. The tutoring frees are kept at a reasonable rate to assure that affordable and quality tutoring is available for the average family.

History

Established in 1983.

Thirty years ago, Wendy started the tutoring business, Highline Tutorng Loft, in a small office in Burien. As the need came up, more tutors were started working with students. In 1997, the business moved to 152^nd in Burien with a new name of «Highline Tutoring and Testing Center». Since then, we have have the opportunity to work with local school districts, local social services agencies and the State of Washington Supplimentary Education Services program. Plus, we had contracts to work with Eastern Washingon schools. We have continued to work with all ages from around the world providing tutoring at reasonable rates.

Business Owner

Wendy started Highline Tutoring 30 years ago because she wanted to provide tutoring for the average family. She has been a classroom teacher in elementary schools, high school and special education. She was the grant director for SES in which she was responsible for directing the program from basic organization of students and teachers to the final reports for HTTC. She is now a part-​time consultant teacher for local private school and continues to supervise and teach at the tutoring center.
