Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood

The tour is really great. And now it’s even better with the museum in Stage 48 at the end. Part of what makes the tour so fun is the chance to potentially see actors working on the lot. I’ve toured the lot three times and one time I got to see a couple actors working on a show. They were outside their soundstage. It was also cool seeing some of the sets of the shows that were on hiatus. I got to see Batmobile’s which was super cool. The best part honestly though is all the small little details that the tour guides know. The best tour I took was awesome because the tour guide knew everything (yes, everything) and was super funny. His name was Jake. Ask for Jake!

My boyfriend and I came here on Monday for part of his birthday celebration I had planned for him. We purchased our tickets over the phone with a AAA discount and it was super easy. I had done the tour once before a few years ago and had a pretty lame tour guide. My family and I had told him the shows we liked and such, but he didnt do much. But wow my boyfriend and I’s tour guide was hands down the BEST on Monday! I believe his name was Ray. My boyfriend was wearing a batman t-​shirt so he was super awesome and really pointed out those spots on the backlot for my boyfriend to nerd out over. I love Ellen so much and have been trying to get tickets for her show for 6 ½ years now. Ray took us onto her set and let me stand on her star and I almost started crying haha. I know many tour guides do this, but it was something that was very special to us and I really appreciated seeing as when I had gone previously our guide didn’t even show us which stage the show was filmed on. We got tot see the house that was in the Prom episode of Friends which was awesome and so much more. Thanks Ray for making my boyfriends birthday so awesome!

This tour I was looking forward to and it didn’t disappoint. You first start by watching a small video about the tour told through the actors from different movies. Then you are assigned a tour guide and they take you to the tram.
There was a lot of pretty little liar sets because they were preparing for filming, but we got to see the house from full house, Merlot’s from true blood, the T-​Rex chase scene from Jurassic park.
We got to visit an interactive museum, the first floor was all Batman vs Superman outfits, along with Suicide Squad outfits, upstairs had harry potter props.
Hopping back on the tram we saw many movie studios that were used in several movies. The growing pains house, The precinct from Mike and Molly.
We were allowed in 1 sound studio and saw where they filmed the big bang theory. Unfortunately they did not allow us to take any pictures which was a bummer. We then were taken to an indoor studio where we saw all the bat mobiles. Afterwards we were taken to the friends set (Central Perk), where we got to take pictures on the couch, the two and a half men set, a museum full of props from several movies and shows, you can take a picture with an Oscar, There was a bat mobile and a harry potter broom with a green screen that put you into the movie (this gets crowded unfortunately and I was unable to do it :(.
The tour leaves you in an expensive gift shop where you can shop or exit to a tram that takes you back to the front of the tour to your car.

Got stuck in LA for a day after a flight delay, so figured why not go to one of these studio tours. Didn’t have much time to do the Universal Studios tour, and Warner Bros. seemed to be popular enough to do with a lot of shows filmed on this historic lot.
Bought the tour on the day of for a Friday afternoon. The price is a little steep at $ 62. Sounds like if you get the $ 49 groupon, that’d be a pretty good deal. You start the tour in a little movie room and learn about the history of Warner Bros.
We basically rode in the shuttle for 2 hours as our guide talked about the history of the lot and the shows currently being filmed. A ton of talk about Pretty Little Liars (which I don’t watch) and Gilmore Girls (don’t watch either).
The coolest part of the tour was probably seeing the Growing Pains exterior. Brought back a lot of childhood memories.
We also saw the sets for Ellen, Conan and Big Bang Theory. Pretty cool to see the actual set, not cool though that you don’t get to take any photos inside. The reason being for spoiler purposes. Yes, that empty Conan and Ellen set will definitely spoil what’s going to happen …
We also stopped at a Batman exhibit and another exhibit featuring superheroes and Harry Potter. It was OK, nothing that special.
At the end, you can get your photo taken on the Friends set, read a little bit more on the history of Warner Bros., get some coffee at the Central Perk, and then re-​enact some scenes from Batman and Harry Potter while either riding a Batman motorcycle or a Harry Potter broomstick. Meh, we passed.
You then end the tour at the gift shop to buy anything if you want it.
It was a little disappointing to hear other people have real good tour guides, while the one we got didn’t seem at all interested and seemed like he just wanted to end his day. We asked him a lot of questions that he just ignored or couldn’t answer.
So I guess if you have time to waste in LA, the studio tour isn’t a terrible thing to do.

Totally fun tour. Easy to park on street. No lines when we went. Kids enjoyed it all. Batman car area was fun. They loved the Harry Potter exhibit and the last part riding on the broom. Groupon deal was awesome!

It was my first time visiting the Warners Bros studio. Efrain was our tour guide, he was awesome! Very friendly, informative, funny, and just tons of fun! I loved the Ellen Studio Tour, the Friends stage tour, the Central Perk stage replica, and SPECIALLY the Batman tour. I loved all the bat mobiles and costumes. Oh and I’m not a Harry Potter fan but I must say it was pretty awesome!!! I will definitely go back. And if you have a choice of tour guide go with Efrain he was so cool

Loved this tour! We got a great discount on travelzoo (I think $ 49/​pp) which made it totally worth it.
First of all, we got there a bit too early because we misjudged the traffic. Fortunately, they were able to accommodate us and get us on an earlier tour. I’m glad we did — our guide, Noah, ended up being awesome! He was genuinely excited and engaged in the history of Warner Brothers, the movies, the actors, and the trivia!
It was really fun seeing a bit of movie and tv magic. Glad we went!

I love the history of film and knowing the «behind-​the-​scenes» knowledge!
My fiancé and I purchased this tour through Groupon and we were able to book a spot for the tour the same week (you’d have to book for your tour at least 3 days in advance).
Parking is $ 10, which isn’t too bad and spacious with designated parking spots for SUVS, which is a plus so your small car or big car won’t have to squeeze between spaces.
The building is very well maintained and well lit once you enter. There’s also a Starbucks inside for you to grab coffee or some snacks as you wait to enter the pre-​tour introductions. Once you enter through the theatre, they will show you an introduction video and then get you situated on the tram.
I believe each tram fits 14 people. The tour itself is about 2 hours with the tour guide and an extra hour for your own tour when you browse through the last stop and gift shop. Depending on your tour guide, you may make different stops or have a chance to walk around and be where celebrities have been doing their shows!
We got to see the sets of Gilmore Girls, Pretty Little Liars, some of Friends, and the sound studios of The Ellen Show, 2 Broke Girls, and Big Bang Theory. The high school used for Grease live still had its décor and props up so we were able to take a look inside and see how they transitioned from scene to scene to quick. This was amazing!
Throughout the tour, Ray, our guide would make stops and point out some areas of classic movies and he also allowed us to enter some buildings and gave us fun facts about them too! I think it depends on your tour guide and how much they want you to explore (I could be wrong but compared to the other tram, we did more walking and exploring).
I also got to visit the Harry Potter archive, my absolute favorite!!! They had costumes and props on display that were actually used in the movies. There’s also a sorting hat that will put you in your houses!
Our last stop was where everyone ends up and it’s where you could stop at Central Perk for some coffee or take a photo on the couch inside of Central Perk. This is definitely something I recommend all Friends fans do — it completes your life.
Wear comfy shoes! You will walk here and there during your tour and some areas aren’t flat.

Beautifully maintained building which houses some of the Warner Brothers offices as well as the starting point for the WB Lot Tour and the Studio Plaza Café which is open and available to the public.
I was amazed at how completely quiet the interior office space was in this building.

I’ve wanted to jump aboard those long carts and tour the lot for so long. I recently found an excuse, my friend’s birthday, and a great deal, Goldstar, and FINALLY went on the tour.
This tour is reminiscent of the Universal Backlot tour, the main difference being that passengers hop on and off of the cart and actually get to be immersed into the sets and soundstages.
I came just in time, Pretty Little Liars is one of my favorite shows and is currently filming on the lot right now. A lot of the tour was showing many of the familiar places that appear on Pretty Little Liars (and Gilmore Girls), mainly because PLL uses 90% of the studio lot.
Our tour guide also took us to the set of The Big Bang Theory. Unfortunately, we’re not allowed to take pictures in there.
Each tour is different. The driver asks all the passengers in the beginning, what our favorite shows and movies are. Telling the driver this information is crucial so they can show you things you’re interested in and stay away from stuff you aren’t interested in.
My highlights, the Harry Potter «museum» that had props from the movies and even gives you a chance to get sorted into a house. Also, I loved being able to take a photo on the set replica of Central Perk from Friends.
The perfect outing for any movie and television junkie!

Being in LA, I figured I should take a studio tour and considered the $ 55 Paramount tour ($ 12 for parking), the $ 62 Warner Brothers tour ($ 10 parking), and the Universal for $ 85 which included a studio tour ($ 18 general parking with shuttle) and a $ 10 savings when buying online in advance.
The Paramount was no longer a working studio. Con.
Universal Studios has CityWalk (an Entertainment, Dining and Shopping Promenade), a theme park with rides and shows, and a studio tour of a real working movie studio. Pro.
But I didn’t want to spend the whole day there, so for me, a con.
Warner Bros was a working studio. Pro. The tour is estimated at 3 hours — 2 hours guided, the rest self guided (aka on your own). Pro. That’s where Friends and Gilmore Girls were filmed. Con. The authentic Central Perk set from Friends. Pro.
Ding, ding, ding! I think we have a winner!
And it didn’t hurt that we then found an active deal online, so instead of $ 62, it was $ 49 each courtesy of Groupon. Yay!
May I suggest heading out there early? For one thing, LA traffic. For another, we had trouble finding the parking lot. But that’s because we didn’t know what we were supposed to look out for. According to the official website: «Parking for Studio Tour guests is available at 3400 Warner Blvd, Burbank, CA 91 505. There is a fee of $ 10.00 per vehicle.» That is, Parking Lot N.
According to me: Look for the signs stating «Warner Bros Studio Tour» and «Tour Parking» cause they’re talking to YOU! Parking Lot N is an outdoor lot where you pay as you enter. Once your car is all settled, head back by foot the direction from whence you came and I bet you’ll see statues of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck lining the path toward the entrance to the Warner Bros Studio Tour. Register, or pay, and wait your turn for a short film. You’re assigned to your very own guide, are led out to your tour tram, and you’re off!

Our tour was friendly, fun, and entertaining. He also took us through two soundstages before letting us off at Stage 48 where we could pick up a snack at a working, branded replica of the Central Perk Café from Friends, get our photo taken at the authentic Central Perk set, and take a self-​directed tour ending up at the gift shop. A short shuttle ride and you’re back with Bugs and Daffy, ready to tackle the rest of your day.
⁶⁄₂₀₁₆ Addendum: Oops, looks like there was another studio that wasn’t on my radar — Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City. A 2 hour guided walking tour for $ 40 per person (free parking). With a potential sighting of the Ghostbusters car and Jeopardy (the game show) — and forced exercise and convenient location to where I was staying — it could have been a contender. But oh, wells.

Surprised to have lived in LA my whole life and not been on this tour until now. But then again, it does come with a pretty hefty entrance fee at $ 62 (we got our tickets through GoldStar for $ 49). But if you’re an avid movie/​show watcher and can take the cost hit, I’d definitely recommend it.
You can either park in the lot for a fee or find free adjacent street parking, then go through security check, and then go and check-​in. Grab your coffee at the conveniently placed Starbucks at the entrance, watch a short intro video, and get assigned a tour guide. Before starting the tour, the guide (Tara for us) will ask what the general interests of the group is and she’ll try to drive around and talk to those specific shows/​movies primarily. She was very knowledgeable and obviously a movie buff!
We got to see the Gilmore Girls and Pretty Little Liar houses, the Rush Hour jail, the alley for the famous Spiderman upside-​down kissing scene with Mary Jane, etc. One of the coolest sets was the Supergirl set, where we got to go inside the DEO lair and Cat Grant’s office! Some of the other main attractions are of course the Batman and Harry Potter Exhibits and green screen rooms (ride the Batpod or broomstick), the picture at Central Perk (the Friend’s café), and the forced perspective Hobbit picture. If you’re going with a decently large group, recommend getting the large package deal for all the videos and pictures for about $ 100+, and split it for the most bang for your buck.
I would’ve uploaded so many more pictures, but that would ruin the surprise of you going yourself. A very cool thing to do if you’re in the area, so stop by and grab a cup of coffee at Central Perk (it’s actually just Coffee Bean coffee with the Central Perk logo and theme)!

I am a complete TV and Movie nerd and I was dying to have a chance to see behind the scenes of some of my fave TV shoes and movies. Warner bros studio tour did not disappoint and I was able to completely geek out on behind the scenes information, sets, secrets and props.
The small group of 12 hopped aboard a golf cart train with carriages and began our guided tour. We traveled sets, scenes and props from both movies and TV, including Harry Potter, Batman and friends.
The highlight was the Harry Potter exhibit where I was sorted into Gryffindor by the sorting hat (truly a magical moment in my life).
After the tour you are left at the museum with heaps of interactive exhibits to entertain you and at the end you have the opportunity to have a go on the green screen and then hold a real life Oscar! Dreams were made that day!
The gift shop is a complete winner also filled with memorabilia to take home and show off!
It was definitely worth the visit!

Myself and seven of my coworkers decided on a whim to do a studio tour. We’d heard great things about the Warner Bros. tour and we were not disappointed.
Our guide made sure she only went into detail about the shows and movies our tour group was actually interested in so our experience felt customized to us. Most of the tour was camera friendly, with only a few production sets being off limits. Looking at you Pretty Little Liars.
There were also impressive exhibits, like Batman, that housed original sketches, costumes and props from the various iterations throughout the years. The Harry Potter exhibit was my personal favorite – they even have a sorting hat that shouts out what house you belong to! I was placed in Gryffindor, naturally.
Of course, the Friends set was a highlight of the tour. They even asked our group if they could use our «couch shot» for promotional purposes and got print outs for free! We ended the day with coffee and cupcakes at the fully operational Central Perk café.
Overall, I think the tour is more fun with larger groups of friends, but either way, I’d highly recommend it. You’ll come away with a million and one Instagram-​worthy pictures and lots of fun Hollywood inspired facts!

BLAST! WE HAD A BLAST. The studio tour was awesome. Loved everything back stage we got to experience and the tour guide tailored it to what people in the car were interested in.
I got to see lots on the Pretty Little Liar set and houses they use for the show, it was really cool.
We drove through different areas of the campus and saw a lot of how they film and use sets.
Is funny how it looks so grand in the tv screen or movie screen but it is pieced together and not so glamorous on the sets.

This was the only tour I booked as it had the highest ratings across the board.
Our tour guide was fantastic and kind! She let us ask questions even if she was in the middle of a spiel and was patient with us as we took photos. She was very informative. The reason for 3 stars is, I was thinking that we’d have more photo opportunities than we did to take pics of us with different sets/​scenery. I was sad to find out the one of the main shows I went there for, Fuller House, set was «closed» that day (on a Sunday, an off day?). I know that the set has been accessible in the past, with my friends on social media taking pics in front of the famous «townhouse» on their own WB tour.
We didn’t get any opportunities to get off the golf cart and take pics with the backlots as I saw other groups doing passing by… I began to wonder if each tour is customized by the tour guide…
We went to a couple of museums, which don’t really impress me as much as much as actual sets do. The museums consisted of Batman and Harry Potter props. I guess if you are a huge fan of either one, it’d be pretty fascinating to you. The other museum has a few Batmobiles.
You also aren’t allowed to take any photos inside the soundstages. I would understand if this were a spoiler, but for talk shows like Ellen I didn’t really understand it. It was a bummer, but I’m sure they have their reasons. It was cool to be standing in there, though.
The end of the tour, you stop at a gift shop, interactive photo opportunities that cost $ (but they don’t tell you that till you get done) and the famous Friend’s couch (my fave part).
Overall, I was hoping to get more pics of myself and group with different sets. It was mostly a taking pictures «of» tour vs. a taking pictures «with» tour.
P. S. — The earlier you take the store, the better. Our 8:30am group only had about 8, where I saw other groups coming in later in the day had a packed golf cart.

The WB Tour is very interesting. It starts with a short video in the front lot, and then you set out on a tour in a open tram with a tour guide. The guide seems to have some control over what you see, but the tour goes through much of the backlot sets, with stops in various soundstage and exhibits.
Our tour took us to soundstage for current shows that were not filming at the time, like «Pretty Little Liars» and «Supergirl.»
After about 2 hours, the tour leaves you at the «Studio 48» exhibit, which is self-​guided. This is where you can get your photo taken on the «Central Perk» set of Friends.
The tour is not cheap — about $ 60 per person. However, it was very interesting. It seems like the kind of tour that you can take more than once, because what you see varies based upon what is happening in the studio at that time.
You can also see WB celebrities from time to time. The day before we were there, our tour guide saw several members of The Big Bang cast outside their soundstage.

When you live in LA, you tend to forget all the places that tourists visit. I’ve totally never even bothered to check this place out, until I got tickets as a gift. Thanks a million to my bf!
It’s a two hour guided your and then you get some time after the tour to explore the interactive area for yourself for as long as you like! It’s in that interactive area where you visit the friends set (central perk), green screen, and merch.
The guided tour is of the whole warner bros studio. They take you to different TV/​movie sets, check out the props and costume departments, batman memorabilia, Harry potter, others. If you are a fan of PLL, BIG BANG THEORY, or Two Broke Girls come now!
We got a deal on Groupon for $ 49 each and I totally found this experience worth it. Come one, come all.

This was a great tour! I got it through Groupon for $ 49 a person, vs the normal price at $ 62 a person. It had a little bit of everything, including a tour of sets used in many TV sets and movies (a lot of mention of Pretty Little Liars for some reason.); a museum of everything Batman and Harry Potter; a museum of the vehicles used in the Batman movies; the interactive Stage 48 where you can observe the designs and effects behind the movies, such as green screen and the forced perspective; and finally, the shop/​Central Perk café. We also got to see a current set of «Big Bang Theory», broken elevator and all, and see all the parking spots for the different TV shows I watch on CBS!
The green screen is pretty fun as you get to ride along a broom or the batpod and see yourself in scenes from Harry Potter, Batman and Gravity. The photos/​videos are available for a hefty price! It’s fun but in the end, it’s a bit awkward to say you are not interested in purchasing the photos. At the shops, everything seems to be priced higher than if you had gone to Universal Studios, for example.
This is great at the Groupon price but not at regular price. You get a whole 2 hours out of it, and depending which tour guide you get, you can learn all kinds of different trivia from this tour! My favorite parts were the museums where you can see all the props and costumes in the movies. Since we love Batman and Harry Potter, we enjoyed all the displays!

É um passeio de umas 3hrs por dentro dos estudios da Warner, onde são gravados filmes e séries, mas minha dica é, se você conseguir vá durante a semana, porque você pode acabar vendo alguma gravação acontecendo, como aconteceu comigo, ou mesmo ver os artistas chegando, consegui ver o diretor de Big Bang Theory e uma gravação de Pretty Little Liars, além claro, do estudio de Friends, que pra quem é fã vale todaaaa a galinha!

With all the recent upgrades, the Warner Bros Studio Tour has become the best studio tour in Los Angeles. The tour takes you through the large Warner Bros Studios in Burbank nestled up against the mountain. The facility is deceivingly small and immediately recognizable from countless movies and television shows. Parking is $ 10 in a guarded lot near the tour entrance.
The tour is very expensive, but you get a wonderful experience. Your tour guide will drive you through the active lot and take you to any number of sets and shops based on availability. This is an active studio with productions on a continuous basis, even in bad weather. The guide will provide a great narration combined with several interactive stops and details about current and past productions.
You may see the shops where they make the sets and props. You may also be allowed onto active sets for current productions. It is probably rare to see a live taping, but you may still see something while on tour. Everything ends now at their massive interactive multimedia studio where you can see artifacts, sift through endless electronic media, and even participate in some special effects magic. The final green screen displays allow you to join in the fun and purchase special pictures and movies from Harry Potter, Batman, and Gravity.
This was an amazing and memorable experience while visiting Los Angeles. The tour is special for children and adults both and very exciting and engaging. Even smaller children may appreciate the fun. I highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Agréablement surprise! J’ai réellement apprécié d’effectuer ce tour d’1h30. Le guide donne beaucoup d’explications et la visite des différents studios est très appréciable. Compte tenu de mon niveau d’anglais je n’ai pu comprendre l’ensemble des explications du guide mais ça en vaut tout de même le coup. Si vous êtes à Los Angeles, n’hésitez pas a vous y rendre même si le coup peut être relativement élevé.

Wir haben auf der Tour 2 Celebs gesehen, Jim Parsons (Sheldon aus Big Bang Theory) und Beth Behrs (Caroline aus 2 Broke Girls).

Para quem gosta de verdade do backstage de certas produções, é um «tem que fazer» durante a viagem para Los Angeles na região de Burbank e Hollywood.
Eu poderia dizer que foram alguns dos 56 dólares mais bem gastos que eu tive em minha vida. Conhecer os cenários, ver um seriado sendo rodado e conhecer o estúdio onde está sendo gravado um dos mais populares programas de TV (The Big Bang Theory) não tem preço.
É bom ver que a magia da TV/​Cinema na verdade não é verdade na maioria dos momentos. Os truques básicos que se utilizam e nas telas parecem tão reais, com o tour eu pude ver que até a água da torneira não é encanada mas sim uma bomba que quando pressionada a agua sai e retorna pro mesmo lugar.
Uma das partes mais uau com certeza é de ter visto as coisas de Harry Potter e usar o Chapéu Seletor (okay, ele me colocar na Sonserina — Quem gosta de HP entende).
Desculpe aos grandes parques mas eu realmente estou encantado com o passeio pelo backlot da Warner… Sempre tive aquele pé para o cinema e video.

Ein absolutes Muss für jeden Filmfan. Wer sich während seines Aufenthaltes in Los Angeles kein Filmstudio anschaut, verpasst etwas. Die Auswahl ist groß, aber Warner Bros ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Die Tour beginnt mit einem kurzen Film zur Geschichte der Studios, der die Vorfreude auf das was im Anschluss kommt noch steigert. Anschließend fährt man in kleinen Gruppen (12 Mann) über das Studio Gelände und lässt sich von seinem Guide die verschiedensten Sets, Soundstages und Requisiten zeigen. Die Golfcarts werden dabei lediglich zur Überbrückung von Entfernungen benutzt. Die meiste Zeit ist man zu Fuß unterwegs und geht auch in ein Paar Kulissen. Mit Glück bekommt man auch den einen oder anderen Star zu Gesicht. Wir haben zum Beispiel Matthew Lillard, bekannt aus Scooby-​Doo gesehen und in einigen Studios fanden gerade die Dreharbeiten zu Big Bang Theory und The Mentalist statt. Was man zu sehen bekommt hängt davon ab, welche Filme und Serien gerade gedreht werden, also ist keine Tour wie die andere. Wir hatten einen tollen Guide und können die Tour auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
