Jimmy and Thomas S.

Business Owner

Co-​owners Jimmy and Thomas have an unparalleled field experience that now spans well over half a century. In the 1980’s, as chief watch repair specialist for the prominent Z Watch Co in Huntington Beach, CA, Thomas spent a decade honing his already developed skills in vintage timepiece repairs. He continued to excel in his craft while managing Tic Time of Santa Monica until the early 1990’s, ultimately establishing Watch Doc of Downey, now the sister branch of Toluca Watch Co.

Likewise, Jimmy began his career in the watch and jewelry field in the late 1980’s as an apprentice to his father Peter, who owned and ran a manufacturing company for 30 years in Los Angeles, CA. Together, they specialized in crafting one-​of-​a-​kind mesh bands, cases and bezels for all types of gold wristwatches. Using Peter’s superior craftsmanship and skillful ability to weave gold and silver, Toluca Watch Co has now introduced a new exclusive line of mesh rings and bands, just in time for the holiday season.
