Started as a direct-to-order/catering business, The French Confection Co. has grown into a full service pastry shop, located in Burbank, CA. Specializing in French/American inspired desserts and pastries, The French Confection Co. combines their love and knowledge of traditional French pastry with their roots in American baking.

Business Owner
Mallory Rajan has been baking for a very, very long time. After earning two degrees, a move to New York City, and a career in the fashion publishing industry as a writer and editor for almost six years, she realized what her passion was the most and made the giant leap out of the pages of fashion and landed into the mixing bowls of the baking world.
While living in New York City, Mallory got a job at a bakery and learned a lot from her friendly, warm, and quirky coworkers, and from her experiences behind the counter. She then decided to move back to her hometown in Los Angeles, California to start a pastry business with her family. With an artistic background, the biggest sweet tooth that just might be uncontrollable (and who cares if it isn’t?), and a love and passion for baking passed down from her fabulous mother and grandmother, it was a no-brainer to create a sweet spot to share her love of beautifully designed baked goods with as many people as possible. How sweet is that?!
