Having gone 12 days past my due date with my first baby and then going into labor after 1 acupuncture session, I was keen to try again with my 2^nd baby but hopefully avoid going so late this time. I booked a session with Susan for my due date and she was able to fit me in at really short notice. The experience was really relaxing and enjoyable and I was told I’d probably need 2 sessions for best results so I booked to come back 72 hours later. That night I started having contractions which were strong but irregular, then 48 hours later I was in hospital ready to have my baby. I was already at 8 cm by the time I got there (helped I’m sure by the contractions I’d been having since my acupuncture session) and my entire labor lasted 5 hours from start to finish. I really believe the acupuncture helped this. I found Susan to be professional, kind, caring and knowledgeable and am so pleased I found her with this pregnancy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to pregnant moms who are at or past their due date.

went to susan to try and flip my breach baby at 32 weeks. one session and bam! flipped baby!
my baby has been in breech or transverse position since she was large enough for that to matter… she’s NEVER been head down so my OB said it was time to actively try to move her. so happy i went with acupuncture as it was a really calm, relaxed environment and completely painless. office is nice and although she was really busy i was so relaxed in the room that i fell asleep on the table!
hopefully she stays in place but if she flips again i know where to go.

If you are past due or in pain due to pregnancy go see Susan! I was 5 days past due with my second baby and saw Susan for acupuncture to induce labor. She said I would probably need to come back 3 days later if the first session did not induce labor over those three days. I went back the third day with pretty consistent contractions as I was still not dilated but having contractions. I was 7 days late at this point so Susan said to come in and she would help «speed things along». I waited for 5 minutes and then I was led back to the room and the second I walked into the room my water broke! I was so embarrassed and worried but Susan rushed in and calmed me down. I felt so relieved as she is a midwife as well. If my water were to break like I was in a movie this was the best place for it to happen. Susan instructed my husband and I with exactly what we needed to do. She also followed up to check on is over the next few days.
My first child was a very difficult labor and delivery. I did not see Susan that time even though I was planning on swing her the day I went into labor. So in this pregnancy I really wanted to see her since I was so late with such a big baby. I think the acupuncture did help induce my labor. It prevented me from staying pregnant and needing to be medically induced or have a c-​section. It was relaxing and healing. My labor was so quick and easy. It was perfect. Thank you Susan! I am referring all of my pregnant friends to see you.

I went to see Susan a little over a year ago when I was 40 weeks pregnant and wanting to speed up the process to meet my little man. She was referred to me by my Doula and I am so thankful I went. She is incredibly warm, sweet, caring and knowledgable. She accurately estimated the size of my baby just feeling him in my stomach.
My session with her was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing things I did during my pregnancy. It was soothing and it did what it’s suppose to! I went into labor about 48 hours after seeing Susan.
She is an expert in her field in my opinion. I believe she is also a midwife or doula and I would definitely consider her as an option if I was looking for those services. She is the kind of person that you would want next to you during that experience.
I will definitely be visiting Susan for my next pregnancy.

I love Susan! She is excellent at her job. Not only is she kind, thorough and very attentive, she really puts your mind at ease. I truly enjoy my sessions with her! She really knows her stuff!

Susan is one of those providers that is so wonderful, kind, caring and helpful that you want to shout how wonderful she is from the rooftops, yet you don’t want too many people to know about her so you can still get in to see her. All I can say is she is hands down the best at what she does and she approaches each client with a unique, holistic approach to care.

My OBGYN recommended Susan to me, as my baby is breech and I wanted to try acupuncture and moxibustion to turn her. It was my first time getting acupuncture, and Susan put me completely at ease. She explained everything to me, and was just a kind, encouraging presence. I left feeling relaxed and hopeful. When I had to cancel my next appointment because of work, she called to check on me, offered to see me on Saturday, and was just really kind and encouraging. I’d highly recommend her.

I love Susan, she is the sweetest, most comforting person you’ll ever meet, that’s probably because she’s not only an accupuncturist but she is a midwife. Going to see her for my migraine headaches, her treatment has relieved them! Having migraine headaches at least ⁴⁄₇ days a week sucks! I wish i could afford to see her more often, not that shes super expensive but just accupuncture treatment in general can add up when you go often.
The time i spent under her care was so relaxing, she plays music, very attentive and has a really positive and happy vibe about her. Plus, she makes you Lotus tea at the end of your session :) I didn’t want my time to end! Love you Susan.

Susan Minich is an intuitive and empathetic when it comes to acupuncture. She really connects with her patients on a deep level. You really feel cared for in her presence. She really connects with her patients. She has a full medical background in addition to her acupuncture practice. I became her patient almost ten years ago, when I had the worst Bursitis pain and a difficult time walking from a big accident. At the time, I wasn’t sure if I was ever going to walk normally again or have a normal life, including having children. I took all the prescribed medication and nothing seemed to work. It was only until I started seeing Susan, that my path to healing began. I took a regular regimen of herbs and acupuncture and was beginning to feel and walk better, continuing with physical therapy.
Fast forward a few years, and I was walking again and pregnant. I had three sessions with Susan right before my due date. The day before my due date, I saw Susan, and the next day I had a speedy and non medicated birth. I even used some of the acupressure points she showed me to help cope with the pain during labor. I am truly grateful to have had Susan as my Acupuncturist over the years.

I’ve seen Susan for more than three years now. I suffer from PMS and migraines and have always found acupuncture to be really helpful. Yes, it’s weird at first but it’s not very painful. It can actually be really relaxing as well as good for you.
Susan is a caring, sensitive health care provider. She specializes in women’s reproductive health but treats all kinds of patients. Susan has a wonderful bedside manner. I try to see her at least every two weeks, and I also take an herbal supplement I purchase through her office. I like her so much I have referred friends and family members to her as well.
