Super nice and friendly staff. Generally I don’t think much of Subways, but the staff here is super pleasant. I know the girl at the register was Michelle who was delightful, but her colleagues were also very pleasant. And the reason I’m writing the review, their helpfulness and presentation of my food really sold me. They get five stars for being good human beings. Thank you. Easy street parking. Or metered. That’s my last time being burned by this particular location… 4 slices of avocado and 3 pieces of green pepper on a foot long Veggie is unacceptable… Veggie subs should have more veggies on them. This is twice in 2 weeks with the same experience… I will be driving to a location further from my home where the sandwich makers are properly trained on portions.

I ordered a turkey sub and I got a sub but without the turkey. If you order online make sure you check your sandwich before you leave!

This is the best subway I’ve ever been to in my life. The two fine young men worked together to put together the most amazing sandwich my mouth has ever tasted. I think their names were Cole and Leon. I wish my two sons were more like them. God bless America.

The staff here are great! A few times I called my order in for pick up — give them about 10 minutes & voila! It’s ready & you don’t need to line up — comes in handy when it gets busy at lunch! They’ve never messed up my order.

I have been to this subway three or so times each experience has been really bad. One time I had a girl complaining about all of her coworkers. I usually have a problem with them always being out of bread or running low on meats ect. Today my soda was flat they didn’t have my bread and the meatballs and sauce were old looking. I don’t recommend going here.

The only reason that this Subway doesn’t receive a full 5 out of 5 star review is because of the fact that parking is a bit of an issue. Luckily I dont have to worry about that as I work just up the street but I can see how that can be an issue for some people. The sandwiches are pretty fresh, just like you’d expect!

I have been to this subway at least a dozen or more times. I’ve never had one complaint. However, today I stopped by to get a few subs. When I walked through the door I did not see any employees, which was fine, as I know they have things to do in the back. One of the two girls I saw working came out and asked me what I wanted. I immediately felt that I had inconvenienced her in some way. Maybe she was in the middle of doing something in the back… I really don’t know, but I wanted to get my food and leave as soon as possible. I noticed that she used the footlong bread that was laying on the work counter(God knows for how long) rather than getting a fresh one from the enclosed compartment. I wanted to say something, but I didn’t. My fault. She proceeded to ask what I wanted on the subs and I told her. I wanted American cheese but it was all dried out and disgusting looking, so I asked for the provolone because it looked fresh. I don’t know why they don’t keep the food compartments covered when they’re not in use. Laziness, or they just don’t care? I’m guessing both. I think I’ll find another Subway, as I don’t like the thought of eating bread and food that has been sitting out uncovered. I didn’t see any flies, but that doesn’t mean there haven’t been any, nor will there ever be. Also, they need to keep the place cleaned up, from the floors, to the tables, to the countertops. There’s no excuse for the dirtiness.

I frequent this Subway at least one a week, sometimes it’s great and other days not so great. Alot depends on the server. There is a young slender pretty African American girl who is the best in customer service and making sandwiches. The rest need more training. Today was the first time I tried a veggie salad… OMG they chopped it up so much it was like right out of a blender. Since they used shredded lettuce there was no salad consistancy at all, and at $ 6.00 way too expensive. And you are limited as to the dressings… Italian and Ranch… that’s it? I paid $.75 extra for a QUARTER piece of avacado. I think I will go back to the sandwichs, but I am going to the Subway on Verdugo and Hollywood way. One last thing, this store is always out of something… one time it was a particular bread, or the soup(try to get some at night, good luck) and today they were out of some of the chopped up veggies. The fountain drinks are usually weak Are these employee or managements problem I don’t know. But I guess like all Subways some are better than others depending on whose working the shift. Overall for the price not bad. I have to give the young employees for 5 stars for having a job… kudos.

My husband and I came in on a Monday morning around 10am while we were waiting to see the Ellen Degeneres show. There was nobody in the store and both employees were very friendly and made our sandwiches perfectly. Great Subway… great employees… Only suggestion: when the store is so dead, the employees should be wiping down tables… I should not walk in and see crumbs on every table when nobody is in there.

As far as Subways go, there’s nothing special. Finding parking along Riverside, however, can be a chore depending on what time you go.

I know this is Subway and that it’s not really meant to be high quality, but I have two issues with this location: 1) The employees are mostly unmotivated and unemotional. They don’t even smile. 2) The inconsistency of their sandwich making. Someday’s it is good, someday’s it is completely unacceptable. On more than one occasion I received a sandwich with literally no sandwich filling on the outer edges. Look, I’m not a fan of bread sandwiches. I want filling on every last bite. If it costs too much to do that, then charge me 50 cents more, ok? But to short customers on your product is only going to earn one thing — a loss of customers. Too bad this place is so close to a couple of major office buildings, because the volume is what’s keeping it alive. It sure isn’t because of quality. And don’t get me started on their«chicken» sandwiches. It’s nothing but processed«chicken nugget» type chicken(i.e., not real pieces, but moulded/formed chicken). I find Togos much, much better. Their employees are always in a good mood, and they make awesome sandwiches. I’ve never walked away unhappy. And it’s only two blocks away. Well worth the walk!

Solid Subway. I go to lots of them all the time, and this one is just a shade above average especially for the late night excursions.

It’s Subway. The same as any other. Pretty much. This Subway is within walking distance of my work, so I don’t even bother to look for parking. It’s close to the studios, so lunch time it is CROWDED. The line usually seems to be out the door. I got there right at 12 one afternoon and only had two people in front of me, but by the time I got my drink and got outside, the line was starting out the door. The fountain also does not have Dr Pepper which I find to be incredibly sad. Maybe it’s a California thing, but I’m from Texas, where almost EVERY fast food place has Dr Pepper. So this might be something I will just have to deal with. I’m not sure if I will go back, as I usually try to bring my lunch to work. If I do, I will make sure to be there AT12, otherwise the wait will be too long.

Like everyone else says, it’s Subway… but I came here for the first time today during the lunch crowd and couldn’t find parking ANYWHERE! I ended up running in while my boyfriend sat in the car waiting in a loading zone. The line was out the door but I could see why – the food here for some reason was ESPECIALLY delicious. I had a club sub and they knew just the right amount when you say«a little» versus«lots.» They had no problems with me ordering multiple sandwiches(as other Subways have) and even had more selection than I’d ever seen before, including spinach, feta cheese and avocado! Next time, I will have to branch out from my traditional club sub to try something new with all their extra veggies! For a Subway, the food was great… but the parking and wait wasn’t.

Is there any difference from one Subway to another? I suppose that’s why we go to Subway… we know what we’re gonna get… a decent sandwich at a fair price. This particular Subway had a ton of people working during lunchtime but for some reason was really slow even though there was only 1 person ahead of me.

I make it a general rule not to review fast food places, but I come here SOOFTEN that I probably should throw ‘em a bone. It’s subway. What can you expect, I mean the food is the same no matter what location you go to(with the exception of perhaps freshness of veggies, which usually isn’t bad! Though today I got underripe, practically white tomatoes which were kinda gross) so I’m ranking mostly on service. These guys are lightning fast, even with a line out the door, and never rude! Can’t argue with that. The $ 5 footlong, which is my standard, comes and goes. Which footlongs are five bucks seems to sometimes depend on some calendar I can’t see, but there are always coupons in the break room of my office so it doesn’t matter much to me! I always either get the tuna(sometimes $ 5), chicken breast(always $ 5) or turkey(sometimes $ 5), eat half, and save the rest for when I’m dying at three thirty in the afternoon and need a pick-me-up. Always get the Omega bread, it’s sooooooo good and –supposedly– so good for you! Today I tried the orchard chicken salad… and was rather disappointed, to be honest. I liked the sharp taste of the apples and grapes but the chicken itself was ‘meh’ at best. Also, surprisingly, the half-sandwich didn’t fill me up at ALL. I could’ve easily eaten the entire thing and it’s only sheer willpower that’s keeping me from polishing it off right now… and that is wearing very thin. It’ll probably be gone within the hour. Also, funny thing I’ve noticed about this location: there is ALWAYS at least one ludicrously good looking man in line, and four out of five times there’s two people outside discussing religion, though never the same two people. WEIRD. (edit: wait… are these grapes… or cherries? wtf?)

Reviewed by «Zeptar the Alien» from the Galaxy XZ689 near the zipper of Orion. *Meep*…was fascinated when Leptar and I entered this biosphere of carbon-being flesh units, who configured highly diversified sustenance packages of vegetables, starches in loafen tubes and condiments beyond all imaginings. And yes, the meaty remnants of land mammals and wing-ed sky poultry. The carbon-being who assembled the meal cakes was named: Mrs. Sandwich Artist and I think she had a «thing» for Leptar. Our salivations increased to tsunami levels as the protein and carbohydrate chunks permeated our digestatory protoplasms. Highest accolades for these assemblers of quality luncheon energy packs.

I go to this subway almost 4 times a week. sometimes more. It is very close to my house so i usually walk wince the neighborhood is so nice! If I drive it is usually pretty easy to find street parking. The guys that work there are fun/funny and one guy has a super cool voice. Customer Service is GREAT, Sandwich Making Abilities are AWESOME and I love the atmosphere. A+

I don’t know how you can distinguish between one Subway or another but you really can. This one is way better than the one on Victory Blvd for two reasons: 1) You can actually sit down and eat here. The Subway on the corner of Victory and Olive( ) doesn’t have that many seats to sit down and enjoy your footlong meatball sandwich. 2) The last time we went, our«sandwich artist» had the BEST voice ever. Imagine movie announcer guy with a Mexican accent… Yeah. Just like that. «HOLA! Welcome to Subway, what would you like?» My coworkers and I took our food to go and laughed the whole ride back. We’d go back, just to see that guy again. The only crappy thing about this Subway is that there is no parking lot so you have to park on the street. Also, if you go during peak lunch hours, be prepared to see the line go out the door. Other than that, yeah for Subway!
