I will be coming back for my woofers and amp .and also they tint here! So overall great experience. Rude and unprofessional to say the least. Me and my friend went to have our cars tinted and get some stereo work done. The guy saw two women going in and gave us a astronomical price, he didn’t even bother to get out of the car he was working on to talk to us. I ended up taking my car somewhere else with 5 star reviews. Now after reading negative reviews, IM SO GLAD I DIDNT LET THEM TO TINT MY CAR AND INSTALL MY STERO.

I’ve been coming here since 1999, over the years I’ve brought 4 cars in for tint and I’ve also purchased Viper alarm systems as well as miscellaneous stereo equipment. I’ve never once been disappointed. David (the owner) has always been professional and awesome. He always remembers me when I come back to see him. I was in there earlier this week to get my new BMW tinted. I called Thursday morning and they had space later the afternoon. Arrived there and I was out in about 90 minutes. Top notch job on my tint. The tint on all my previous cars still looks as good as the day it was put on. I don’t know what’s up with these wack 1 star reviews recently, but the quality is still there! Thanks David!

Don’t bother coming into this place at all, the service is terrible and they do a horrible job for your car. I came in here to get my windows tinted because I had never done that before and for once I thought to myself let me go ahead and get my windows tinted on my car. It’ll be cool & what came out was worse than any service I’ve had before. They screwed up a friend of mine’s tinted windows as well too so I’m sending this out to everyone don’t bother coming to this place at all. I had to pay twice the charge to get my car back to what it was. Plus these guys never took responsibility for their poor job. I don’t know how they are even in business!!! They will mess up your tinted windows and cause you a huge headache & pay twice as much just to get it back to what it was before. Stay away from this place!!!

Went here for to tint my windows and could not be more disappointed. These guys don’t know what the heck they are doing! Other people have made comments about the lack of quality in their work, which now I know first hand is accurate. I wish I read these comments before going in but that’s the price you pay for not doing your research. Would NOT recommend!

You are probably reading this because you want to know if you can trust your baby in their hands. Take a few moments and read the bad reviews as that could be you in that situation. Just take No chances. Unlike most shops, this place does not offer any satisfaction guarantee work on their services as they refuse to fix any installation issues they caused. Why take a chance?
The Short Story: They give you an estimate, you both agree on, you bring your car to them. They will do their tint, they take your money and when they screw up, they take absolutely NO Responsibility for the bad work, and YOU have to pay them extra again to get it fixed! (With no guarantee that end results won’t damage the window any further)

Here is the long story: I was a returning customer after 10 years when i decided to trust my new car and another older car with them when i realized this shop is not what it used to be 10 years ago. We agreed on a price of $ 130 to tint both cars, 2 windows and a rear (usually other shops do it for $ 99), total of 3 windows. Both of cara just after 4 days ended up with bubbles of air in them. Ok no problem, that can happen. When I took one them back for a fix for a rear windows tint bubble, i face their rudeness and unexplainable logic!
I was willing to work with them so we both can be happy but instead i they thrown this logic:
Quoting word by word by the owner «It is your fault! Because you paid less (exactly the price we agreed on) you can’t expect good results!!! If you want We can fix this if you pay the full retail price.»
They give you a discount and lousy work! As if they are doing me a favor. Lets just leave it to that! Thats the people you will deal with, they agree on a price and will not deliver expected results. After 10min of discussion and hearing their mambo jambo of how their incompetency and lack of basic skills ruined my car I got yelled at and that’s where i knew i had to cut my losses and leave their store before my day got ruined as well any further. Pay us another $ 20 and we fix it they said. I said, $ 20 in nothing for me but i will not pay any cents extra to fix your wrong doings, and remember I trusted my car to be tinted professionally, otherwise i could go buy it on ebay and do it myself i wanted a ruined bubbly tints, I will never return here again, nor refer any family and friends. You gave me 2 cars with ruined windows and take no responsibility to fix them.
Unilocal readers: If You get your cars tinted once in lifetime, do your research and get it done somewhere else where they can provide you excellent service. Not here!
And if you are owner of the store and reading this, shame on you for treating an old customer like this.
That’s all i can say, i’m filing a complaint with BBB BETTER BUSINESS BUERU as well before i find another reliable place to redo my tints and get it over with.
P.S: While I was there, another customer was complaining of their bad job done on his classic car.

I was relieved to find a local stereo shop carry the wiring harness kit needed to install a double din into my Audi A4. I purchased the kit and paid for them to perform the installation; BIG MISTAKE. After taking the car after the install and driving it around, the rear speakers stopped working so I had to take it back and they were able to fix after about an hour. I then took the car back, played a DVD when only the sound was working and not the video. I called them and they said to bring the car back. I then decided not to take the car back but to take it to another shop when they candidly stated the install was a «joke» and understood why I was experiencing so many issues. I strongly suggest reconsidering this place for any stereo installation.

These guys did yet another vehicle for me…2014 dodge charger. Top notch as always. Called a day in advance to make an appointment and just waited for it. The guys were just about ready for me when I pulled up. Took 2 hours but Santoro’s sandwich shop is next door so I just ate and killed time there. This was the 3^rd job they did for me plus another for a buddy of mine and always do a superb job. Do yourself a favor and don’t go anywhere else for window tint! I’m thinking of returning for a clear bra for the front of my vehicle which they also can do.

I have a 2015 Honda Fit, and with tinting the front (minus the windshield), it’s 9 windows. NINE. LOLz. But, he was by far the cheapest price I got for the carbon tint after calling 4 different places for the same type of tint. He also had immediate availbility which was awesome.
After he finished the tint (in about 2 hours), he double checked his work. I must say, I’ve owned a ‘few’ cars in my day, but this was by far the best tinting I’ve received in a long time. I also got the lifetime warranty since I went with the carbon, which is awesome.
On these hot summer days, the tint totally made a difference and I’m glad I went with him for it. I couldn’t have asked for anything better.
For tint, I would not go anywhere else. He’s definitely earned my vote and recommendation.

I’ve been coming here for years. David and the crew are the best window tint professionals in the business — PERIOD! The only time I went elsewhere for a tint job was because David was booked for two weeks. Let’s just say my experience at the other place was brutal. The tint had hair underneath it and they damaged my car. Solar Craft also does a phenomenal job upgrading sound systems. I’m having them install a remote start module so I can pre heat my car in the winter and cool in the summer. I highly recommend this place!

Awesome spot. 4^th place I’ve been to for tints, and I think I’ll stick with this one. They were nice, quick, and there are two trees providing great shade for the outdoor seating. Everyone had a great attitude, even the mechanic next door.

Initially called and was given a quote. Called back a few weeks later to see what model car stereo he would be using. David told me he couldn’t help me over the phone. I felt David was very unprofessional and definetly lost out on the possibility of a sale. If he just told me the different models and prices of stereos that would fit my car then I just may have had them do the work.
They do a good job at tinting windows and probably even installation but poor customer service is enough for me to walk away.

The owner started on a rant about how long he’s been in business and complained about customers coming in with their own ideas.
This was his response after telling him i wanted to use an amp i already own.
Those 2 sentences should describe to you how this man runs his business.

Ezra… you sound like a douche and a competitor! It’s going to take more than this clearly bias BS rant to prevent people from coming here… I am proud to call this place the best there is… go pull your crap somewhere else, it didn’t work! #yourethefool

don’t believe what Ezra posted about this place. I trust this place a lot more than shoddy crooked places like Best Buy or Al & Ed’s Autosound which are rip off scam artists. Solarcraft will not cheat you or charge you with extravagant labor costs like Best Buy & Al & Eds. Solarcraft will do professional work and they sure do work hard for the money and your business/​loyalty.
Just had a Rockford Fosgate prime mono amp swapped in to replace a failing Hifonics mono amp and they only charge me $ 30 and it only took about 30 minutes. Best Buy or Al & Ed’s would probably and purposely take 2+ hours to do the job but charge $ 80 – 100 an hour for the work done and the wiring would probably be mickey mouse at best. This is why places like Circuit City went out of business!

CLEARLY I’m a different kind of consumer than the simple fools giving this place 5 stars! Those 5 stars fools must be either family or referring to the easy TINT portion of this place.

Go to Amazon, Fry’s or Walmart to purchase your radio then Bestbuy (guarantee LIFETIME installation, nationwid & centered on good customer service) for the install.
This place was $ 500 for the radio I purchased at Walmart for $ 150. The backup camera was $ 150 here and I paid $ 50 on Amazon. Installation was quoted at «ALL DAY» at $ 250 Bestbuy quoted $ 180 in 3hrs and completed the job in 2 hrs.

I’ll have to say that the service here is pretty great. Called this place weeks ago to inquire about ceramic tinting. I was given a quote but I still wanted to shop around for a better deal. Couldn’t find one. In fact, no one else came close and no one else was reviewed as well in regards to tinting.
I came here this morning to finally get my windows tinted with the ceramic stuff. I dropped off my car at 9am and was given a loaner so that I could drive back to work. At 11:15am I received a call telling me my Acura MDX was finished and ready for pick up. FLAWLESS WORK and for a great price! I’m really happy with the work and the service that was provided.

I called solarcraft a couple weeks ago and made an appointment to get my car windows darker. They quoted me a great price. When I went in the next morning they showed me the different shades of tint, made suggestions, and when I was unsure they showed me a vehicle they had just tinted that had the exact tint combo I was deciding on. Well I loved it and decided to do it. It took about 2.5 hours and I could watch the process. The guys were so professional and honest. I’m so glad I made a first thing in the morning appointment because they were getting busy and having to tell some people to come back later!
2 weeks later I love my darker UV protected tint and my car stays sooo much cooler! Lifetime warranty too! Can’t beat that!
If you are wanting tint look no more!
UPDATE: Months later… I LOVE LOVE LOVE my tinting and it has helped with it not getting as hot and sunny in my car too! :)

I saw a lot of glowing reviews for their tinting service. Based on that, I went there for their car audio service expecting it to be on par with their tinting service. Man, that was a mistake.
I took my Z4 in to get a new head unit and iPod integration installed. Ernesto suggested a particular Pioneer unit that fit with what I needed. I got on my phone to check out the price and reviews on Amazon: great reviews and about $ 80 cheaper online. I asked him if he would price match. He said no because they originally purchased them at a higher price. I’m okay with that since not many retail businesses price match. So I asked if they can install it if I bought it online and brought it in. He said yes but it’ll cost extra. I asked why and he said something about liability and whatnot. I couldn’t fully apprehend what he was saying because it sounded like he was improvising some BS reason. It’s the same freaking Pioneer head unit! Why would there be a difference in installation cost?
I’m like whatever. I’ll pay extra if their service and installation is as great as their reviews. A few days later, I brought the head unit in and he said it’d take about 1 hr 30 mins to 1 hr 45 mins. So I waited… and waited… and waited for 4 hours! Not only that. The dash kit holding the head unit was not flush with the dashboard. On top of that, there was a gap on the left side, so they filled it with felt. Super shoddy work! (Refer to photo gallery.)
Their tinting service may be great, but I can’t say the same for their car audio service. Look elsewhere.
