I was refused a refund and accused of something that I never did to an item that was a) over priced and b) didn’t fit. I spent money to send it back, only to be denied a refund AND they want to charge me to send it back to me. Nope, sorry. You lost my business. Keep your damn clothes… I can find better elsewhere.

Pinup Girl Boutique is my «Shut up and take my money» store. I had originally learned about this company through their website and heavy internet presence, and after discovering the store I cannot get my fill of their beautiful, high quality, vintage style clothing.
With an addiction like mine, the cost can add up, given that each dress is usually around $ 100+, and skirts about $ 60+. However, they do have frequent sales where you can save 10−20% (or 50%+ during their yard sale), and you know that each piece you buy will last a long while and looks like a million bucks. The styles are wonderful for women of all shapes and sizes, and as a woman with a lot of curves, they are absolutely worth what they cost. It’s also a great place to come for casual outfits, sultry sexy dresses, or for a night on the town kind of look.
The only thing I wish was different at this boutique is that I wish there were more than three fitting rooms, because this place can get busy during the weekends and it can take a while to get a dressing room. But otherwise, this store is incredible and I have bought my fair share of their skirts, tops, and of course dresses.

I was at this location on Saturday afternoon and I’m so very disappointed. if i could id give it 0 stars I would. I was in the store for about 20 minutes and first off when I arrived there was No Greeting. I was looking around for a specific dress but of course did not find it. Well I found it but it was a XXXXL. I went through each rack even the employees choices and did not find anything. After 20 minutes and no one offering to help or to see if I was ok I decided to leave. I cannot believe what horrible customer service this location has.

I love visiting PUG. They have a beautifully curated selection of vintage style pieces in a wide range of sizes. I’m a 2x, and I always find flattering pieces that make me feel like a million bucks. It’s seriously the only dressing room I leave feeling better than when I walked in! The staff is always friendly and quick to lend a zipping hand (trust me, you’ll need it no matter what size!) The dresses are mostly $ 100+ but they are very well made and totally worth it. If you are specifically looking to see something from online, I would call first to see if they have it before you trek over!

I like this store! As ghetto as it sounds, as a first time customer I originally went to see if I can try on several clothing items that were on sale online. I’m glad I went. The store is clean, neat and open. They had sale items on a rack outside as well as in store, which the employee pointed out. They also have a large range of sizes which is welcoming and nice to know that they don’t discriminate. The prints are either cute, unusual (in a good way), or both.
I tried on a few dresses and they were really nice and flattering even though I don’t have the perfect body. One thing I noticed is sizes vary from style of dress as well as its material, if it stretches or not, etc so I was anywhere from a M-​XL. If you’re buying online I’d highly recommend checking the size measurements they have for every piece. Or you can come to the store to try it on… and buy, like I did. I ended up getting the Heidi dress. One thing that really stood out besides the fact that it’s extremely flattering is that it’s long enough!!! Being tall, it can be frustrating to find dresses that won’t expose your behind when you bend over or just in general. I’m glad I found such a nice dress.
The lovely ladies who work here were nice and knowledgable. Thank you! Also you get a cool PUG shopping tote which gives you a savings when you come back.
This visit created a monster: came home and bought 3 more dresses online. I can’t wait to get them!
I’d definitely come back for more clothes. The prices are a bit steep but I’m assuming worth it as many people have mentioned.

First off, it’s important to remember that three stores equals «A-​OK». Which is what the Pinup Girl Boutique was to me. It’s OK. And it pains me to say that.
I’ll start out buy saying I do in fact own a few PUG pieces, purchased at either a third-​party carrier, or were gifts, and two items purchased at this store a few months prior to my most recent visit. All are skirts, and in either small or medium, depending on the fabric. And I love each of them. And I give PUG a hardy «BRAVO» for being a company that offers unique styles, quality fabric and construction, and has their stuff made in the USA.
There is a lot of good going on here at the shop, but there are some downsides too. The shop is large, spacious, the gal working the counter was very nice and attentive (although on past visits I was pretty much ignored).
So here’s the kicker that shot my review down… Say you come across PUG’s website, see some cute stuff, but don’t want to buy it on-​line, you’d rather try it on… well, DO NOT expect to pop into their store and be able to try on too much of what’s on their site. This shop only carries their «House Brands» (although they carry Atomic Swag tees and some weird brand of sweater). So that gorgeous hooded gown they just released? All that awesome goth inspired stuff? Yeah, not available. I was crushed. During my visit I was looking for a dress for an event the next day, and a handful of pieces that were featured on-​line I thought may be suitable, but when none of them were there. I tried on one dress, only for it to be one of the most ill-​fitting garments ever. I’m a pretty standard medium, with an almost on-​point hourglass with regards to measurements, but a medium was all too entirely loose in the hips, and tight in the bust. I ran into this problem awhile back with their «Jenny» dress, with the bust being too tight when the waist fit just fine. And when I say tight on the bust, I’m saying like «can’t zip it up» level of tight, not just «pancake boob» tight.
PUG offers a lot of size ranges, which is nice, including itty bitty to queen size, but when peeking at some items, they only had XL and XXL in stock, and they weren’t even clearance items.
Most items are in the $ 100+ range, but I think they are worth it, between the style, fabric and the fact their items are made in the USA.
I may visit again, but I can honestly say I could live without visiting again, that is unless they start carrying more of what is on their website.

. That being said, I do prefer trying clothes on vs buying online. The selection in store is way less than I would prefer (certainly doesn’t hinder me purchasing an item or 2 every time I come in though). The girls are super friendly. I am hoping one day they will move into a much larger space to showcase more of the adorable items they have to offer.
And ample parking around is a plus «)

Went in today to find a dress for a wedding next month and I’m so glad I did. I love the PUG website but I wanted to be able to try everything on. All three girls working were BEYOND helpful. They listened to me and helped me dress for my body type. I’m so glad I went and so excited to wear the royal blue Havana dress that I bought.
Great store, amazing employees. I will be back!

ONE OF THE WORST COMPANIES I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.
I can’t find a listing for their website, so I’ll just leave this review here for
I purchased a pair of flats from their site a few weeks ago. I know I selected the right size because I was buying them for someone else and I was on the phone with her when I made the purchase. We were deciding between a 6 and a 7. Aside from the fact that I am very cautious when I order online.
They sent me a size 11. I called them and told them it must have been a mistake with the website and they insisted that the site would never make a mistake. Because you know, glitches NEVER happen.
I had to pay return shipping of $ 12 to return the shoes. When I got my refund I noticed they had also deducted $ 8 for shipping from my refund. So I lost $ 20 because of their mistake.
I will never shop from this store again and I will make sure to let anyone else considering it not to. There are plenty of other stores with much better businesses practices and customer service to deal with.

My eyes and my mind live this store!!! On the occasions when my wallet let’s me purchase from here, the quality is great and I always love my purchases.
Y one complaint, but it’s not specific to this store, is how expensive vintage clothes are. I love the style tho so I stock up one piece at a time. When I’m 50, I might have a full wardrobe haha
What was nice was the last time I came to the store, I was in a hurry and passing through. I knew what I wanted from shopping online so I called ahead and asked the woman to set aside the dresses I wanted to try on for me. Sure enough, when I got there a session for room was waiting for me and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes! I really appreciated the extra care.
Also, as a tip the parking in the area is not great but we found a spot after a little while. Alao, come hungry and eat at Portos next door when you are down with your shopping!

I really wanted to love this store, and i did but didn’t at the same time. I’ll break it down for ya.
Selection: Not too much. The stock is not amazing, and i noticed some racks had 4 different dresses but only 2 of each kind. Online selection is definitely way more. I would say, go here, try to find a dress that looks like the one you want, then buy it online. It’s what i’ll be doing since there are discounts also.
Service: I thought service was ok. One thing I didn’t like tho, was that if you think that you do not fit a certain dress size, and they think you do, they will stuff you in it. By that i mean they will say no that’s your size and let me close it for you. It obviously is not touching each other, and when it was closed, it looked like you cant breathe. I know what size works for me cuz I’m comfortable in it. Also, dressing rooms have a wait, so prepare for that if you are in a hurry.
Parking: Plenty
Prices: I personally think the prices are what i would expect for these kinds of dresses. I bought a dress from trashy diva, and that dress was more expensive than these ones. Some styles are sooo different that you won’t find them anywhere else.
Overall, i would still go here but not have high expectations. I really enjoyed the dresses, so that trumps everything else in this review.

The ladies here are wonderful and they’re all so beautiful! Very helpful staff, they constantly will ask you if you need help or if you’d like to start a changing room, etc. I love visiting the store. It’s literally like walking into heaven every time. Pink and dresses and pinup style, a very magical place. It’s basically Dress Disneyland

I love this store so much. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. I’ve been a fan of PUG for 4 – 5 years and their clothes are to die for. I high recommend this store to vintage/​rockabilly fashion lovers. Their clothes are high quality and unique. I just recently bought two Mary Blair skirts, two voodoo vixen tops, and 3 pairs of shoes. I swear I have one whole side of my closet dedicated for my PUG clothes.
The other day I went to their ladies night out and they had all floral prints 20% off. Since I’m a regular customer (and online too) I brought my PUG reusable tote bag and I got an extra 5% off. That same night they had makeup and hair demos related to the floral theme of the night. I also recently went to Miss Rockabilly Ruby’s vintage hair class there and it was amazing let me tell you that. I learned so many styling tricks and products that I should try to achieve a smooth finished vintage look. I will go back for her next class because she did mentioned that she tires to change it up every class that she has in Burbank. If you want to learn vintage hair then go learn it from the best. I also hope to take Tony’s (His Vintage Touch) next vintage hair class too. I know him and Ruby only do it twice a year in Burbank so you better be on your toes to see when the next one is.

I was born in the wrong era, I know I was meant to wear dresses with fitted waists, sweetheart necklines and fluffy skirts.
This store is a must see for any lady that loves or currently fashions herself to be a 50’s goddess.
They carry sizes up to 4x and they have retro bathing suits too.
The staff were friendly & helpful and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

I came to this store after finding their booth at the Rupaul’s Drag Con event in May 2015, and I fell in love. Yes, they are drag queen/​TG friendly, so if that bothers you, move along (don’t let the door hit you on the way out). It’s such a cute place, both the layout and the products are amazing. Even the staff are adorable and look very retro glam.
This store is delightful to browse, and it’s so nice to see a store selling really great quality items for almost all sizes. No joke, their dresses go from a size XS to a 4X! I felt almost embarrassed asking for a size 14 thinking they wouldn’t have it, but that’s WELL within the range of sizes they carry, so I was very happy about that. They have dresses to flatter any shape, too, and I was even surprised to see that I looked good in a v-​neck, side-​ruched dress — it’s called the «Monica» dress, and it comes in almost any color, including sparkly dresses. I don’t usually like ruching on me, but I’m also a bit fan of the proper foundation garments, so with some spanx and a cincher on, I looked amaze-​balls.
Their prices are pretty reasonable for the product you’re getting… most are between $ 100-​$ 200. The Monica dress I got, with tax, was $ 166. So yeah it may be kind of an investment but I think it was totally worth it. They’re well-​made, AND made in America, so you’re getting a quality product that wasn’t made by a child in a sweatshop in Indonesia. That is a great that it’s made ethically, that they support the TG community, and that they support women of all shapes and sizes.
Will definitely come back… will try to resist the urge to max my credit cards to get one of everything in every color.

Bridgette is absolutely fantastic! Her recommendations are spot on and her knowledge of PUG’s merchandise is impressive!
The owners look like they’re always stressed out or in a bad mood.
I don’t usually feel comfortable when they are around.
I’m sure they’re pleasant, but they never seem warm and welcoming.
The dresses in store are limited and even though I come a few times a month,
they never seem to get more in stock. Parking is not very easy to find.

Iv visited this store on numerous occasions, tot just look and to actually buy something. All of the ladies working there are sweet as can be and very helpful. Pinup girl boutique has some insanely gorgeous pieces. I wish I could buy one of each but that would burn a deep hole in my pocket! Every piece they have is beautifully crafted and unique. It costs a bit, but it is worth every damn penny! Jaw dropping and flattering clothing for every size ladies!
Ps keep an eye out for their yard sales and sales rack! Always filled with goodies ;)

I have a birthday coming up in 2 weeks, so yeah, if everyone could just get me a giftcard to PUG clothing I would be the happiest, and most well dressed, girl alive.
I have ordered from PUG several times over the past year or so, but earlier this month was my first visit to their brick and mortar. I was looking for a specific sweater, which unfortunately they did not have (and later on it sold out online as my order was processing *boo!*) but I did find a FAB-​U-​LOUS tiger print top there (see my current default pic).
The thing I love about PUG is their clothing fits so many body types. I am in NO WAY the smallest girl around (5’8, I enjoy cake too much to ever say «no», and if I call myself 150lbs that’s because I am shaving a few pounds off for modesties sake) however despite all this so many things there give me an amazing look and make me feel like a truly drop dead, sexy, gorgeous vixen.
Prices are within the $$/​$$$ sign range. I basically came here the day after pay-​day after I had taken care of all my bills because I knew I would have to limit myself. I had a $ 50 maximum spending limit, but once I tried on the aforementioned tiger print top (which made my boobs look huge and my waist look small) I knew I had to up my budget (I proudly left without spending over $ 100 though). The sales staff was friendly, and always available to help, without being too pushy which was greatly appreciated.
Parking was a breeze on the street (metered) and the whole neighborhood was fun to walk around. Love this store, and hopefully I can return on my birthday (with said giftcards *cough cough*).

Maybe there was too much hype and build up. The selection was a little scarce, especially for the large size of the place. The ladies working were nice and had much better customer service than I’ve received from their online store. That was kinda the whole point of going was because buying from them online can be painful.
Love the location, easy to get too and lots of parking.
