I went to this doctor for a 2PM appointment. The nurse didn’t show up in the office where they apparently rent a space until 1:58. Of course, then all the people waiting had to fill in the necessary paperwork. After 20 minutes of paperwork they asked me for my insurance card. When I said I didn’t have it but had the policy # and Group ID # they said they needed a specific prefix from the card. They refused to call my insurance and refused to let me use a computer to try to find the prefix for them. When I asked why the nurse didn’t tell me their needs over the phone when I made the appointment, they said they had told me, When I told them that was false, she argued with me. Consequently, I left. When did Dr. offices become incapable of contacting insurance companies? Horrible service. Cluttered dirty office. Rude nurses. Nothing I want out of a doctor.

I don’t have anything bad to say about Dr. Borok. My son, husband, and I have gone to him for issues varying from skin conditions(son had a case of warts that spread throughout his body… thank you preschool); husband has had skin tags removed; and I had a skin tag removed. Everything healed ask expected. The medication prescribed worked; Dr. Borok saw us each and every time. The office isn’t modern; Dr. Borok is a little odd, but he knows his stuff and he fixes the problem. Only complaint is that we have to pay cash for the co-pay. I would prefer if he accepted credit cards.

Genius. solved something I had been worrying about for years, with just a passing glance. If I ever need skin stuff, I’ll go back.

Dr. Borok works in an office made up of all general practitioners only 1 day a week. This is important to know because when you call to make an appointment, make sure you specify you are making an appointment for Dermatology, otherwise they will just schedule you with a G.P., like they did to me. They were very apologetic once they realized their mistake(only after checking me in and putting me in a room) and squeezed me in to see Dr. Borok the next day. I don’t know if it was because I had been squeezed in, or if he just didn’t care but, he wasn’t very thorough. Sure, I got a prescription but I wish he would have talked to me more about my history, and diet, rather than just writing me a long prescription. While I wouldn’t recommend him to a friend, it’s one of those situations where I would say«try him and good luck.»
