Martinique Banquets

The staff at the Martinique is top notch. Looking for a venue for our wedding, we have dealt with tons of people. Melissa, Daisy and Julie were very personable and knowledgeable about the business.

I recently attended my sister’s wedding shower at The Martinique and everything was fabulous. All the set up was ready when we came in to add little touches for our theme. The tables were set up beautifully with the colors we had chosen. There were so many details to the day that did not go unnoticed. Such examples would be the customized hologram on the dance floor area with the name of our bride and groom, special pictures of the happy couple featured on the outside marquee and the absolutely gorgeous floral arrangements. I am currently an expecting mom and the Manager, Julie L. even had non-​alcoholic champagne so I could partake in the mimosas! It was a perfect day for our family.

My fiancé and I had our wedding shower at Martinique and we were so happy with everything! Although our family threw the shower for us, I know that the staff was extremely accommodating to their wants and needs. Julie, the manager, was a big part of the process and was a huge help the whole day as she walked around a lot asking our guests if they needed anything.
A awesome little touch is that they put our name and a few pictures (even our dog!) on their big sign outside of the venue.
I highly recommend the Martinique to anyone who is looking for a place to hold their special event.

Excellent, excellent, excellent. From the guidance we received from the manager Julie, to the staff who were extemely efficient, courteous, and friendly… they exceeded our expectations in every way making my daughter’s shower a pleasure for all. I had a surprise birthday party for my Husband and working with the staff at The Martinique made everything smooth and effortless. They make sure every detail is perfect! We received many compliments from all of our guests who said the food was fantastic & the staff was polite, friendly & very efficient. Thank you Martinique for making my Husband’s 65^th birthday one that we will always remember!

I attended a wedding at the Martinique this past weekend and I cannot say enough good things about the Martinique! Everything was amazing! The venue is beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff was so helpful and friendly. The wedding garden was also a beautiful place to take pictures. The Martinique exceeds any expectation you have for a wedding. It was the best wedding I have been to! I highly recommend the Martinique for any special event!

Horrible. My aunt and uncle celebrated 25 years of marriage and 50 years of life here. This is where their wedding anniversary was so it had many memories for them however this experience was not pleasurable.
Cheering on my aunt and uncle whom recently walked into the room I stood by my chair at a table to only be pushed by the wait staff. The soup was coming out but instead of him saying excuse me or walking around me I was pushed.
Then the camera man, whom I believe name was Melvin, did not want to take a family photo. I have kids in my family which of course takes a little time to get them to actually pay attention but Melvin was not patient. He quickly snapped the photos with us being ready or not. I didn’t see anyone get a copy of the photo, it was free for guest since my aunt and uncle paid I advance, so I wanted to be sure we had a copy, minutes after noticing no one had a photo I went to get one. Going over the pictures Melvin came to me saying those photos are crap. Most of them where my uncle and aunt, why would you call them crap?! I found the photo I was looking for in the pack, of my family and I. I told him I wanted this one, again it’s free, instead of him helping me place it in the frame he stood there upset. Very rude!
The best thing about this place was the DJ (whom was a family friend. That we hired. Not a staff of this place) and the open bar. The bartender was great! (If Unilocal allowed and wasn’t for the bartender I would give this place zero stars)
My aunt and uncle paid over 1,500 to enjoy this night but the staff did not seem to care. Save your money don’t book here.

The Martinique Banquets is an awesome place to have any event. The service was excellent. When we booked for my mom’s 80^th birthday celebration, the staff there was so caring and attentive to our needs and request. This is a beautiful venue and just an outstanding staff. Thank you, thank you to the Martinique for making our mom’s celebration WONDERFUL!!! She was so happy. We will be back there in the near future.

Upon arrival I was satisfied with the layout of the Banquet hall; I love the separate restrooms, as well as the open bar (which is usual for wedding in banquet halls). Yet, the price of the venue with taxes and fees considering location is excessively high. When asked about any collaboration with hotels I was told I would need to do pricing myself they don’t work with any hotels. The fees tacked on makes it unattractive for my price range. For the same price I could have the wedding and reception at a cruise liner at navy pier. I found another venue at a lower price.

I am getting married at the Martinique this summer. Their banquet rooms are beautiful and their offerings are impressive. Overall, the space is clean and updated, the staff is friendly and they have been extremely helpful in making my dream wedding a reality. They have a lot of in-​house offerings including chair covers, centerpieces, cakes and a sweets table that make planning easy. I also really like that their bars are within the banquet room and that they have the wedding garden — it is stunning! If you want your special event to be elegant and memorable, I highly recommend Martinique Banquet Complex.

This location its awesome, food was great very clean and servers very helpful, wedding decoration nice and very organize, Julie was very nice and very helpful in working with you, our wedding 11÷07÷14

I would highly recommend the Martinique if you want great atmosphere really good food and exquisite service. That’s the place to go !!!

We got married in the Garden and the reception was held at the Grand Ball room. The staff were always helpful and flexible during the wedding planning. The food was delicious and you can tell it was freshly cooked. I was a little disappointed that the bartender didn’t have all the ingredients to make my drink. They did at the food tasting. Besides that, we had a good experience. They always strive for good customer service. I def recommend.

My husband and I had our wedding reception here in June of 2006 and absolutely loved everything about it. The entire reception was worry-​free as the staff ensured that everything was precisely as we asked. The hall itself looked beautiful and the food was delicious. We asked for a traditional Mexican dinner and they gladly provided a delicious carne asada dinner plate with rice, beans, and tortillas for each of our guests. They also had chips and salsas with guacamole at each table. The private room had a fruit and cheese tray along with champagne for my husband and I. We also ordered our cake with Martinique and found it to be delicious! Our guests were very impressed and thanks to the staff we had a perfect wedding reception!

My husband and I got married on April 22^nd of this year. Dave was so polite and friendly. Plus we had shopped for a venue for a while when my cousin (who also got married here) told me about this place. It was great. The food was delicious, and space was huge. The service was very attentive. We got an ice sculpture, the cake, food, drinks, and venue all inclusive. They have 2 rooms and a outdoor area. This was truly a blessing. We felt like royalty. I always recommend this place to anyone for any event.

I need to write a huge THANK YOU to Dave and the entire staff at the Martinique Banquet Hall. We had our wedding there this past Sunday, May 27, 2012 and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! You made our entire wedding a huge hit!!! Everyone was raving about EVERYTHING! We have had nothing but compliments on how BEAUTIFUL it was both the ceremony and the reception! We can not believe how amazing it was! You made every little detail complete and there was not ONE issue the entire time! We have had tons of our guests tell us that they really didn’t expect much with family style food yet they were blown away by the food! THANK YOU doesn’t even cover what your facility did for us! We will never forget our wedding and we will definitely be recommending you to EVERYONE we know!!! It doesn’t get any better than this! You guys were SUPERIOR in EVERY aspect of our day!

Came here for a church anniversary party and everyone seemed fairly impressed.
Parking was easily accessible and free. All of the staff, from the door security, to the busboys, were polite and helpful. The banquet hall itself was very clean, spacious, and well decorated. Tables were neatly decorated and set perfectly.
To the food: Pretty boiler plate as far as catered/​banquet hall events go. We were served salad (minimal and basic) and minestrone. Dinner was butt steak, chicken vesuvio (really good), green beans and twice baked potato. Everything was cooked well and seasoned appropriately. The steak was a little dry and bit under seasoned. The twice baked potato was well executed and seemed to be the hit of the table. Nothing over the top, but everything was well done. They also served «vegetarian» meal, consisting of breaded scrod. A little buttery, but cooked right. Vanilla ice cream and lemon cake completed our dinner service nicely. Wait staff was helpful and attentive.
Overall, a well equipped venue. From service to food, accessibility to capability, the Martinique staff pulled the event off fairly flawlessly. Our party consisted of around 200 people and from 1 to 200, we didn’t have a single complaint. I would definitely recommend Martinique to anyone looking for a catered event and a good night. Cheers!
