I LOVE MY GYM!
State of the art equipment, clean (I mean SPOTLESS) amenities… showers, bathrooms, lockers. Towel service. Private bathroom stalls and showers — its not like a high school locker room LOL
Great staff — from the receptionist/​front desk staff to the trainers and instructors. Everyone is fantastic!
It’s a small gym, but its never crowded. Open from 6am till 9pm (or close to that.) Great classes, small class size = personal attention. Great for everyone! It’s definitely a mix of «hard core» gym goers and newbies like me.
Cheap membership, for all of the goodies and conveniences its only $ 30/​month! Thank you Disney!!!

Just joined the Hyperion Club and am already in love! I was two weeks on the wait list and it was so easy signing up. Just $ 30 a month. Though small the gym is super convenient for Disney employees. It is small, but mighty! Friendly staff, clean, new machines, free lockers to use (no key needed), free towels, clean locker rooms… what more can you ask for? Also the intimacy of your own restroom stall, no more awkwardly seeing other peoples feet while on the john. it makes a difference!
I have yet to try out the classes offered but they have a great selection of them lined up mainly before work hours and after work hours. It is hardly crowded here and I have never wait for a machine. It is also cool because only Disney employees can work here so it’s a great opportunity to meet and chat with other people from different departments and potentially your future boyfriend or girlfriend ;) haha
Would definitely recommend it, muchhhh better than the 24 hour fitness gym I was considering joining.
Only bummed thing is you have to park far in the Zorro lot and it’s not open on the weekends!

I’m happy to have this employees only gym at work (Disney Studios). I love the fact that it’s clean as hell because I often hear about dirty, smelly gyms in just about every review I read. Hyperion Health Club isn’t as big as your typical 24 hour fitness gym, but what it lacks in size it makes up for with quality. That’s what she…
The showers are clean and the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers are always full. You can also find lotion, spray deodorant, hairspray, mouth wash, and a blow dryer in the restroom. If your hair is looking funky and you’re in dire need of a haircut, you have the option of getting a haircut in the salon (gotta pay for it, though). There’s also a massage room, spin class room, and a class room with ample space to do just about anything. Towels are provided as well as wipes to wipe down the equipment before and after use, and so the place really is clean.
There are a few general house rules that the members abide by, such as talking on your cell phone isn’t permitted while working out. and so they have a nice designated area if you need to make a call. This is great because it could get really annoying at other gyms when people are talking on their freakin’ phones while hogging equipment that you need to use. The gym also requests that you wipe down equipment to be courteous. This is probably how all of the equipment is kept so clean all the time.
For the most part you can find maybe 95% of the equipment you’d find at other gyms. Because it’s smaller than most gyms, there is a limited amount of benches, dumbbells, and other machines but it really isn’t much of a problem.
The friendly staff, relatively cheap membership, and the fact that it’s so exclusive makes my workout experience a very enjoyable one. It’s never really crowded; they have a cap on members. I only wish it were open on weekends. If it had a pool, bball court, and/​or a sauna room I’d give it a full 5 stars, but I really can’t complain because everything else is superior.

amazing!!! I feel blessed and spoiled to have this as an benefit for working at Disney Studios. Everyone that works there is great. Teachers are exceptional, especially David who teaches Yoga; someone who actually knows the true meaning of Yoga, yeah… Lotta who kicks my butt with her creative and fun Boot Camp. And Olga who motivates me to keep showing up!
The gym is spotless and equipped with all the lastest in fitness gear.

I’m really glad they have a cap on the amount of members for the gym because it really helps keep the gym manageable crowd wise. Also, you’re not allowed to go in unless you’re a member which helps with the curious studio visitor crowd too. For someone that likes to go to the gym to just work out and get things done, It’s a great thing. Early mornings help me achieve a very efficient workout.
The place is always so spic and span, and has the friendliest gym staff I’ve ever come across. I have never seen a spec of dust on the floor or a messy grungy locker room because of the great maintenance the company does on the health club.
The classes are great, especially the Friday morning yoga class. the only reason why I gave it ⁴⁄₅ is because I would’ve liked it to be open on the weekends, a sauna and/​or steamroom, and possibly a pool (but i’m not complaining either). They fit what they could fit and it looks great.
