Ed & Ed Brothers

Ed & Ed Brothers is great. They respond quickly to calls for help, price their services fairly, and they are very professional, courteous, and clean. They have serviced both my A/​C and furnace.

My heating unit was out – it was about 56 degrees in my home – it was this past week when temperatures were down in the 50’s outside. My mom was helping me and she called about six places. When she got to Ed & Ed, it was after 5PM on December 23. One of the Ed’s was contacted by the office about the problem, and even after hours, he showed up when it was after 6. Not only did he diagnose the problem, up on the roof in the heating unit, he went out to get the part. Total time, about 2 hours. The part didn’t work. He returned on Christmas Eve with a part that did fit, installed it in no time. They didn’t even invoice me until today, and, of course, it is being paid immediately. I expected a huge bill for overtime and also holiday rates – not. The charges were so reasonable as far as I’m concerned for time, labor and the part. The Ed and the office person were kind, courteous and concerned about my welfare. Call Ed & Ed whenever you need help with your heating – probably your air conditioning, too.

They worked with our landlord to setup an all new ductless ac system in our building. We live in a fourplex, and before the remodel it was super old, especially the wall heater/ac’s.they were scary looking!
Thanks to Ed & Ed Brothers we now have an amazing heater & ac in our apartment. It works perfect, cools (or heats) the house in minutes! Its pretty silent too, which is great.
Besides the product itself being so awesome, their work ethic was just as good. They always came on time, very professional, worked super fast, and got the job done-​what seems to me as-​perfectly. Our landlord was really happy with them as well.
If the opportunity comes up, we will definitely use them for our own place one day. I recommend them for sure!

We interviewed a lot of people when we were looking for someone to install central heat and air in our 1920’s home. These guys stood out by far, and once we hired them we felt even more positive we had made the best choice. They were fast clean and professional. Both days we would come home there wasn’t a trace they had been there except for all the great progress they had made. Their prices were the best-​honest and fair, especially considering the quality.
The whole team was nice to talk to. Hayk was especially helpful coordinating our install. Thanks guys! Such piece of mind knowing our new baby will keep warm this winter and cool this summer!

They were super polite and ultra fast, all on Thanksgiving no less! Our heater died and they sent a technician over within an hour, all on a holiday! Diagnised the problem, fixed it quickly and all for an extremely reasonable rate. Ultra satisfied and would recommend them to any and all with AC/​heating issues. The real deal!

These guys are AMAZING!!! They are very quick and efficient, they installed Ductless AC unit in my house and it works very well and it’s very quiet. Their team has outstanding performance and great customer service!

Wow! Just got off the phone with their receptionist, and boy did I get ZERO help! I have an old floor heater and need to repair and clean it… She put me on hold and said «they don’t do that anymore because we are really busy»…um, isn’t that what your business is!!! So I asked her for their best competitors so I can call them, «oh you can go on yell and find out». Well here I am! Thanks for NOTHING!!!

I have been having an ongoing issue with my a/​c. Companies sent by warranty were horrible, didn’t show or insisted I needed to spend too much $$ to remedy my unit. Thankfully I found these guys off Unilocal and they were prompt, explained what needed to be done, and ensured everything worked before they left. And it was much less than multiple companies had estimate. Go Ed or go home!

They are the best! They answer the phone and schedule right away. An active license which is really important, I am keeping their number.

Wow! The reviews about the great service, integrity, and professionalism are spot on! The two gentlemen who arrived to check my central air unit were amazing. They provided great service, did not try to oversell, and completed the work as if it was in their own home. I could not be more pleased with their work. Highly, highly recommend them!

Ed and Ed saved me! During a heat wave our AC unit stopped working properly. With a newborn and a toddler at home I wanted to get the issue resolved as soon as possible. We called and they were able to squeeze us into their busy schedule and came out within an hour of contacting them. They were very professional and friendly. They diagnosed and fixed the issue on the spot for a very reasonable cost. Thanks Ed & Ed!

Honesty is definitely a hard quality to find in today’s business world, but Ed and Ed know and value this quality and it shows in their work and service to the customer. Highly recommend them and will be using them again for my mother’s heating installation!

Ed & Ed Brothers are great! Their appointment schedule shows. My AC went down during the winter so I waited to repair. Silly me, I decided to rent my condo and needed if fixed fast. The first Time I called they were booked so I foolishly called another company… who messed it up a little more. I called again and asked my renters to wait a few weeks and it was worth it. They got me in fast as it was urgent, came out for a quote, very knowledgable even my husband felt good about the service, price and advise and he is hard to please, haha, price provided soon after and we were set. We found a date that worked for all and 25 days prior to the date I promised the renters it would be done a brand new AC was in.
From start to finish, talking with the lovely office team to working with the techs it was a great experience!

We own multiple commercial and residential properties and have used Ed & Ed Brothers for over 10 years to care for all our HVAC needs. They’re very easy to work with and their prices are the best. Just a great bunch of people who make up a small, personal, professional, reliable and trustworthy company.

Ed and Ed Brothers installed an AC ductless unit at our house in Glendale. The unit is working wonderfully. All the work was done faster than estimated and the price that was given was very reasonable. These boys are highly recommended by my family and myself!

Our heater didn’t work. Shocker! The only time we turn it on all year (December) and it was dead. Ed came over and quickly figured out the problem. He turned on the gas. (Yes, I am that mechanically challenged.) Not only was he very punctual and very friendly, he didn’t charge us. WHAT? Who does that? I figured we would get hit with a service call, which I gladly would have paid, but he said not to worry about it. Not only was that a very nice holiday gesture, it made me believe there are truly good people out there not just trying to make a quick buck. I will ONLY call Ed and Ed for heating/​cooling needs. I highly recommend you do the same!

I want to give more stars, I really do, but I just can’t.
Perhaps it’s because there are so many great reviews causing them to be really busy, but it seemed like everything took way longer than it should have. When we first decided to get a new hvac and were shopping around, we called and left a message (with a person), and waited over a week for a call back. When they came for the consultation, they didn’t even go in our townhouse, because they said they’ve installed units at our complex before. After we got our initial quote, we requested another quote that include energy efficient units, which took another week for them to send. We finally signed a contract, and then waited some more.
We agreed on a day they would come, but that ended up not working out for them because they couldn’t get some parts in time, so they said they’d contact us when they knew about the parts. We waited a few more days and finally had to call them ourselves.
The day we finally got the unit installed everything went great. They were very friendly and efficient and did a good job. However, my husband asked on many occasions for a new smart thermostat that we could set using our phones, and he was assured every time we would be getting that. Lo and behold, we have a programmable thermostat, but not a smart, wifi enabled one that can be set using our phones.
Also, I’m convinced they sold us a unit larger than necessary. It’s 3.5 tons for our 1261 sq ft home. We already had them come out once and turn down the speed to low, because the suction from the return vent was too noisy, and so strong that it would slam all our doors shut, and they’d be difficult to open. It’s still too loud, but it can’t be turned down anymore.
I want to give them more stars, because they were very friendly when they would actually speak with you, but the lack of communication and slow response times negate that.

Simply amazing! Best way to describe Ed & Ed Brothers. We were looking to put an HVAC unit including all ducting into our home that seriously needed AC for the hot summers our home faces Westward during. We read through the Unilocal reviews of Ed & Ed as well as several other AC places in the area and had estimates by a number of them. Ed & Ed came in at the best price and we are so glad, over and over again that we chose them.
Most home reno projects leave a lot of dust and strange parts everywhere, disheveled areas of the home that the kids shouldn’t be around. Workers that don’t seem to be doing much, and usually something goes wrong where there are extra costs not initally accounted for. None of that with Ed & Ed. I’ve never seen a group of guys work harder or faster to complete the job (the whole job done in less than 2 days.) They showed up early! They were extremely clean and efficient. Very professional, followed our wishes unless they felt they had better suggestions and they did and we took them!
This was the easiest renovation project we’ve done yet and we thought it was going to be so much more effort and mess since they had to cut holes in the ceilings to put vents in. For my neat-​freak wife, the way they did this with no mess was so impressive to her.
One month into having AC and it’s amazing how much more comfortable our home is. Everytime it turns on we smile, look up at those beautiful vents, and then go back to whatever it was we were doing. You will not be disappointed with your HVAC install or even services provided by Ed & Ed Brothers.
