Maka is, by far, the blonde and extension MASTER. My hair has NEVER been this exquisite, and I’ve been to some of the top salons in LA
I hate to even say this, as I want to keep her all of myself, but I found her thru recommendations so it’s only fair…
The salon is rad, plays good music and has lots of parking.

If you need your nails done in a wonderful and clean environment Van is great! For a mani or pedi!!! She is wonderful and prices are very reasonable. She is so nice and flexible with the scheduling. I’ve been going to her for several months. Great designs if you like those. Great for gel or Arylic! I highly recommend Van!

Ample parking, very clean and friendly staff. Van does AWESOME nail work… it doesn’t get better then this you can get your hair and nails taken care of all in the same place.

If you are looking for someone who is a genius at color (esp for blondes) Marcie is your girl. I’ve been going to Marcie for about 2 years now and I do not trust anyone else with my hair but her! Her energy and attitude is so refreshing and she actually LISTENS to what you say you want.
I normally just go to her for my highlights and a trim but yesterday I had her chop off 5 inches and was blown away by the results. She really knows what she’s doing and takes the time to do it right. Also the salon is clean, stylist and everyone there is so sweet. You can’t go wrong with this place OR Marcie.

Van is doing nails at this location! She is so awesome! She takes her time and is very easy to talk to. She was able to squeeze me in on a Friday morning. My nails haven’t looked this good since forever! She uses the best products and is very thorough with her work! I won’t go to anyone else anymore! The location has ample parking and very clean area! Van is the best!

Alyssa is a GENIUS! My hair was SO screwed up, cut & color a MESS from 4 other colorists, in 2 weeks. Omig, traumatizing. Can’t THINK straight when the hair’s a mess!
She completely fixed the whole mess! She’s fun, nice & calm. Thank GOD! Yay!!!

You would think if someone is a hair stylist they would have a natural aptitude for it!
NOPE my experience has been nightmare especially when it comes to cutting my hair and believe this??? getting it straight and even.
I have short pixie hair cut and I have gone through at least 6 different stylists only one was adequate. I think part of he problem is that salon receptionist tell you that «anyone» can cut short hair when you call to ask.
AND that is just politically correct speak, not accurate and actually doesn’t help the client who is looking for a stylish and correctly cut short haircut.
When I called De Cielo Salon And Spa I asked the receptionist who was the best as in who does short hair cuts with expertise, she said the usual well anyone– I stopped her mid sentence and said
I don’t have any hair left or an inclination to loose my mind when someone touches my hair who has no ability to cut pixie cuts but tries to do it anyway for the sake of their EGO.
I told her please tell me who can do a short haircut perfectly– she said ALYSSA.
I went in for a consultation and then came back later in the day for a cut. Truthfully the only way to tell is to try.
Alyssa fixed the insane hair cut I had, out of shape uneven and bulky with little doggy ears aka hair, she saw immediately what was out of balance and had absolutely no hesitation with cutting we discussed she did it, i showed her pictures. Perfect exactly even, modern balanced OMG you’d think I won the lottery.
I went to an event later that night and several of the guests took pictures of my hair cut to take to their stylist I did them a favor and gave them Alyssa’s card.
The next day I brought my sons girlfriend in to do her bleached roots. Awesome done and fixed. I referred my friend and Alyssa fixed her hair as well!
I like Alyssa she is happy open not afraid and professional on time
listens to you and can fix other people ridiculous attempts and hair styling. Not every one is qualified regardless of certification to artistically do hair! ALYSSA is you won’t be sorry! LOVE

I LOVE JENNIFER! She is great with her hands! All you curly hair girls out there… You must go to Jennifer! She knows what she is doing. She is patient, sweet and understanding! I have been going to her the past year and every time I go my haircut gets better and better.
The salon is real sweet and parking is in the back.

I have been going to see Jennifer at De Cielo for about six months and couldn’t be happier with my experience! She fixed my box dyed hair with so much patience and has gotten my blonde better than it’s ever been. The color holds up really well between visits. She knows a lot about color. I would recommend her to anyone!

What a fantastic spot to get your haircut! Marcy has cut mine, my two boys and my wife’s hair for years and we wouldn’t think of going anywhere else!!!

Jennifer Cancino is a master at color she took my faded color and damaged hair to healthy and beautiful. She did a beautiful golden balayage she is an artist she really cares about your hair and very snip and brush. I had a great experience. This is not the first time she saves my hair. Jennifer is my hair superhero.

Finally found my go-​to salon in Los Angeles!
As usual, I was terrified of trying a new salon/​stylist. A girl’s hair is everything, am I right?!
I tried another place in Burbank last year and felt terribly disappointed, although their salon had tons of positive reviews. After that experience, I just refused to get my hair done at all. Needless to say, I was extra terrified of trying yet another salon, for fear of another bad cut. Luckily, I decided to give one more new place a try and found De Cielo. THANK GOD I DID!!!
I managed to get a fairly last minute appointment (thank you to the sweet receptionist who helped me!) and found Adriana, my godsend! Adriana took her time, was thoughtful, thorough and explained every step that she was taking with my hair. She gave me the BEST bombre ever and cut my hair beautifully.
I’m so grateful to have found Adriana and De Cielo. Can’t wait to try new styles with her! :D

Since I am a Burbank resident, I have passed by this place so many times and thought of trying it for the first time. My hairstylist of over 10 years has moved farther away from me and now I was in desperate search of a new hairstylist and salon.
I am so happy to choose this place! I contacted Alyssa through the website and set up an appointment with her last night. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile. I was seated right away and got my color and cut. Having the thick Pacific Islander hair, I was nervous about trying a new hairstylist.
Alyssa has this great personality, very warm and friendly. She put me at ease. She listened to me and was able to get me what I want and need. I was very happy with my results! I definitely recommend this place!

I come here for waxing by Alexis Reachi. I can’t recommend it enough. Initially I found her on Groupon and her rates are fantastic I’ve continued to drive up to Burbank to see her.
The salon has a nice ambiance salon clean and busy. There is free parking in the back lot. She’s usually always on time. I am greeted and in and out in about 15−20mins. She uses hard wax which does a quick job unlike the honey wax. It’s also less painful. She’s very personable and nice. She always texts you the day prior to remind you of your appointment.
Other than the hike up to Burbank I really enjoy coming here and would definately recommend her services.

Adrianna is so accomodating and sweet, I wanted a very specific ashy hair color on my asian hair (which is extremeley difficult to obtain as we have a lot of brassiness in our natural hair color). She did it in the short time frame I had (we had already started bleaching so there was no turning back) and the color is INCREDIBLE! They really know what theyre doing here. Ive been to over 30 salons in my life, from Asia to south africa to Los angeles; but the way they made the hair color I wanted look so natural on me, being an ashy gray tone with blonde — it was super impressive as usually this color can turn out very animé-​cartoon ish colored which is what I didnt want.
Plus; the owner scheduled me very last minute on a Saturday and they accomodated me so genuinely. You feel so comfortable and unrushed here, they have magazines and tea to kill time while you wait and they’re really not about profit and ripping their customers off the way other salons ive been to have. They were all so sweet and I’ll definitely be making this my regular salon. Not going to trust anyone else as my hair has been damaged way too many times in the hands of other stylists.

After many times here for the first time I was helped by the super sweet and talented Alyssa!
Normally it’s a little awkward the first time you meet new stylists, but my experience was the total opposite. Alyssa was super comforting, funny and attentive!
During the entire process everything I said she took into complete consideration. She totally made me feel like we were a team trying to tackle my crazy purple hair request our conversations felt super natural and not like forced small talk which always makes long processes like these (3 hours) enjoyable!
Alyssa really took the time to fulfill everything I asked for. I felt she really paid attention to detail while bleaching and dyeing my hair. SHE DID AN AMAZING JOB. The purple hair I imagined was fulfilled beyond my expectations. She did such an amazing job achieving the color I wanted. I recommend anyone who’s a soon to be first timer and regular to visit Alyssa because YOU WON’T REGRET IT!

This review is overdue but that says all the more since it’s hair we’re talking about! I called on a whim over a month ago and was pleasantly surprised to be booked for an appointment shortly later on the same day. I don’t know know why but I’m someone who tends to procrastinate on my hair for weeks, and then once I make the decision to go get a cut I end up feeling all antsy and impatient. So the immediate gratification of getting in was an instant win in my book.
I arrived to my appointment with Alyssa and immediately felt taken care of. Lo and behold this impatient and negligent customer (me) threw in a tone color and was patiently humored with all of my indecisive suggestions, questions, and «what do you think of this…» verbiage. Alyssa is a whiz with cutting hair and her passion and expertise was definitely appreciated! She is super friendly and fun to hang out with in the chair as well. Even over a month later, my hair is growing out nicely, which is a true testament to a great haircut. Thanks Alyssa– I’ll be back, sooner than later next time I promise!

I got to see Jennifer Cancino again today. Yeah me!!!
This time I brought my mom who is visiting from the East Coast! She loved what Jennifer did with my hair & my nieces hair when she was in town!
Jen did a phenomenal job giving my 80 year «young» mom something so cute! Thanks Jennifer Cancino! My mom thinks you’re «nifty» and that’s pretty huge!

I had first met Shannon at the De Cielo Salon in Burbank.
I was a bit apprehensive at first because I cannot find her name in the previous reviews, but her knowledge and expertise shone through when she explained to me the process of highlighting my super pigmented hair.
I showed her a picture of what I wanted (low maintenance ombré/​balayage highlights) with subtle layers, and that is exactly what I got! In addition, she blow dried and curled my hair to see the highlights in full effect. I love it. Thank you so much Shannon, I will surely recommend you to my friends looking for a color expert :)
