David Ahdoot, MD

I met Dr. Ahdoot few weeks ago and been going to him several times with my medical issues. Every time I see him he is very profesional, caring and compassionate. I wish I came to his office earlier, my last ob was just the opposite. I highly recommend Dr. Ahdoot and wish him all the best.

Front desk staff and nurses are very friendly and helpful. Dr Adhoot seemed very nice my first visit but the following appointments were less than pleasant. He didn’t know my history with each reoccurring visit and when I would bring up stuff he mentioned at the prior visit he seemed confused. I expressed my concern with the nurse on my last visit and she had a talk with him before he came in to see me. He started off ok but then started asking me questions again which we had covered in prior visits. Don’t expect to get more than 5 min of his time– visits are rushed by Doctor (not nurses) Unfortunately not a good fit for me for many reasons.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Ahdoot. I delivered my first baby in December with a delivery so easy and smooth others wish for. Dr. Ahdoot is to thank for even me getting pregnant, after being thrown left and right by other doctors trying to force me into IVF, but Dr. Ahdoot and his staff kept me so calm at all times and really helped me enjoy my pregnancy. From his bedside manner from start to the end and a very thorough follow up post partum I’m confident in returning to their staff and care for my up and coming deliveries.
He listens to all your questions very carefully and answers them with patience and optimism.
Side note: I’ve never ever met more caring nurses than the ladies at this office. They always welcome you like a family member! Miss you all!

Dr. Ahdoot and his staff are efficient, thorough with following up, very caring and just plain amazing!!! The office locations are conveniently located and appointment scheduling is so easy. I was so blessed to have them guide me through surgery and recovery. I was referred to Dr. Ahdoot by a friend and I now hand out his contact information like it was Halloween candy! Treat yourself to a great doctor and a wonderful team!!!

I LOVE Dr. Ahdoot!!! He became a part of my team when I was hospitalized for a serious Strep B infection that had made its way into my bloodstream due to an imbedded Mirena IUD. I am a cancer patient on chemo every day and I’ve been like this for 10 years, so you could say I know a thing or two about what a good doctor is. I have nothing but high praises for Dr. Ahdoot. He will always take the time needed to address any concerns I have, and he contacts each and every doctor on my team to discuss what is being done and to make sure everyone is on the same page. That, alone, is HUGE!!! Most doctors don’t do that at all. He has also addressed concerns in the middle of the night while I was on vacation, and again, even ran everything by my entire team before doing so. He is exactly what I would expect a doctor to be. He’s intelligent and definitely tries the least invasive route first and goes from there. While I can’t necessarily speak on behalf of his OB skills, I can definitely feel comfortable in saying that you will be happy with having this man as your doctor. He absolutely goes above and beyond.
I would also like to add that I have never really waited at all to see Dr. Ahdoot. Because of the infection I’ve been dealing with for about 6 months now, I see him regularly (anywhere from every 2 – 4 weeks). I think I’ve only maybe waited once, and it wasn’t for more than 15 minutes. His nursing staff is truly amazing. They know me and my situation without having to read it off my chart and they’re always friendly and extremely helpful. I’ve also never had a single billing issue with this office because I made sure to confirm on my own that they were in my PPO network. It’s super easy to do on your insurance website, so I’m not sure why anyone would be upset to find out after the fact that he’s not in network.
I’ve read some of the bad reviews, and while most are concerning billing, I’ve seen a few regarding the fact that he does an ultrasound upon every single visit. I absolutely love this! I want my doctors to do anything and everything in their power to ensure that my health is perfect! Maybe my situation is a bit more complicated, but I think I’d still rather my doctor use any tool needed to ensure there aren’t any problems. The ultrasounds aren’t painful and they’re super quick. And I will also say that the surgery that was done to remove my imbedded IUD was absolutely the easiest surgery I’ve ever been through!!! He even took pictures of the inside of my uterus that show why I needed the surgery and to also show that I didn’t have anything like polyps. I mean, how could you not be happy with that?! It was extremely thorough and he was able to show me afterwards what was done and why and how it had caused the problems that I’d been dealing with. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He has also treated my mother and my fiancé with the utmost respect and he’s explained everything to them in a way that they can understand. I can’t imagine why anyone would have any complaints regarding Dr. Ahdoot or his office staff.

Dr. Ahdoot is a doctor that genuinely has the bed side manner of a girlfriend-​hope that makes sense, lol! He is so kind and caring-​he truly listens and tries to help. I LOVE him and wouldn’t ever think of going anywhere else. So compassionate, insightful and gentle. I adore this doctor and give him my highest recommendation!!!
As far as the review that he is in it for the money, i honestly have a hard time believing they are writing about the correct doctor. I have NEVER remotely had that same experience.
Lab results? I wish you could hear his calming message he left me yesterday, after seeing him the day before, telling me the results of my labs. HE calls-​not a nurse, not the staff, he has always called me.
I have been lucky enough to have been with him the last 10 plus years and couldnt love him any more!

We found out we were pregnant at 9 weeks, 5 days before we were leaving for our dream wine tasting trip to Italy. Needless to say I was panicked that it took so long to find out (home tests all negative) and was in urgent need of a doctor once we did find out. Dr. Ahdoot and team to the rescue. They got us in for an ultrasound and blood work the same day and got back to us with the positive results within two days, giving us the all clear to still go on our trip, minus the wine for me. Dr. Ahdoot and his staff were wonderful and supportive throughout the entire pregnancy and we highly recommend!

This is long overdue, but Dr. Ahdoot was phenomenal. I came to him in bad condition when I was about 30wks pregnant with boy girl twins, and suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum. I had just moved from Florida and immediately was in a car accident while I was pregnant. His staff is amazing. He is quick, but he is thorough. He gets straight to the point, and if he needs to get info over to you he will personally call you. I recently had another baby, but I didn’t see Dr. Ahdoot and I regret it. I’ve read some of the other reviews about him not taking his time and other things but honestly I don’t think the man sleeps. He was always at his office or across the street at St. Joseph’s hospital. So, for one man to be so detailed with all his patients I think we can cut him some slack for not sitting and talking to us thoroughly for 30 min to an hour, that’s what therapist are for Lol! I also had legal issues with work and he was willing to provide any and all the medical paperwork I needed to receive what was legally owed to me.

Without shaking my hand or introducing himself as any doctor would to a new patient he says «I’m going to answer all your questions with one answer, you need birth control»! Remind you he knows nothing about my medical history that I HAD been on birth control or why I’m visiting but bases his general outlook will help me based on my condition he reads on my chart.
I had set up the appointment due to questions regarding fertility because with my condition it’s harder to conceive and he says «if your not wanting to get pregnant now, you don’t need to focus on that».
It DOES matter if that is my concern as a patient and I want to be sure in 5 – 10 years I will be able to conceive naturally. Any woman having trouble conceiving knows this is an emotional process but Adhoot had NO compassion or understanding of where I was coming from. Instead of offering me a FSH level test or other test to ensure my egg count he says, «you need to focus on your relationship and your confidence».
He was incredibly rude, arrogant, and has NO bedside manner at all which was an unpleasant surprise based on what I read. He also said «I’m about doing things not talking». I’m about doing things too or I wouldn’t have gone to your office, and you’re doing too much talking and not paying attention to the reason I’ve needed your services!
He’s too busy for his patients and its only business and $$$ for him.
I also had an ultrasound done which any woman knows is painful, and he stuck the scope inside without any warning. I was in pain for the rest of the day and wish I didn’t pay the $ 150 for a quick pic with no explanation of my ovaries and the pain afterwards which led to blood spotting.
The reason I wrote a review is because based on reviews I read, this practice
sounded like good services and FAILED. I wouldn’t want any other WOMAN to experience what I did. BE SURE TO DO RESEARCH on where you visit or you may be surprised like I was by coming to this awful place. Also ladies if you decide to come here, come with your man or family member, I made that mistake of coming alone and in general.

Dr. Ahdoot & his staff are great! He always makes sure that all my questions are answered & has great bedside manners. Nothing but good things to say! I recommend Dr. Ahdoot to everyone I know! You will not be disappointed :)

I’ve been seeing Dr. Ahdoot since I was 17 or 18 and he is the absolute best. I’m so thankful my regular physician sent me to him all those years ago. He’s so smart, to the point, and kind. His whole office is great. Everyone wants to be there — they’re all helpful no matter what you need.
Dr. Ahdoot has always been someone I’ve recommending to friends and family.then.a month ago he delivered my first child. And I have to say, the whole process from beginning to end was everything I could ask for. Any questions I had, no matter when I called no matter how crazy and frantic I was — he answered them and kept me calm. He kept my husband involved and in the loop at each visit — he genuinely cares about his patients and their significant others. On the actual day of my delivery I was so so so so so thankful to have Dr Ahdoot by my side. Everything was explained, everything was clear and under control. and then the following days as he checked in on me I felt totally cared for and in good hands.
I’ll be a patient as long as I possibly can!

Best doctor we have ever seen. He worked with us to start our family. He did everything he could do and everything worked! While my wife was in labor, in the middle of the night he woke up and called the hospital to see how she was doing. In the delivery room he was fast, and to PERFECTION! Dr. Ahdoot and his staff are remarkable :) no words can explain how thankful I am to have come across his office. A few months ago (the day before 4^th of July), I gave birth to a healthy baby girl. Dr. Ahdoot, who was supposed to be on vacation went out of his way to be present for the birth of my little one. Everything was peachy until several weeks post partum and the tears started rolling. I knew something wasn’t right and I phoned Dr. Ahdoot who immediately recognized my issue… post partum depression. After a week of medication, I was still feeling terrible and he knew I needed additional help. He went above and beyond to help me get the treatment necessary. Within a few hours, I was hospitalized and provided the medication I needed. Dr. Ahdoot came by every morning (I was there 3 days to make sure the meds were working) to check and make sure I was doing well. Thank God for his rapid diagnosis and assistance in gettIng me the help I needed. I will forever be grateful to him and his staff for the attention, support, care and concern during a difficult time.
Thanks to them and the rapid intervention I feel 110% better. I definitely recommend Dr. Ahdoot. He is the first physician I have come across who truly cares about his patients.
Just a side note: post partum depression is real and it’s out there. Ladies, make sure you have a physician who is truly dedicated to his patients. You don’t understand how important it is.

I just saw Dr. Ahdoot last week and am quite grateful that I found him when I moved here almost 10 years ago. I used to work across the street at Disney and had great insurance at the time. Since then, I’ve received his help and advice while I was with and without insurance. Most doctors are unaffordable without a PPO but Dr. Ahdoot has not been that way. I feel much more comfortable getting his personal and professional service rather than being unrecognized at a health clinic as a patient.
His office design is really gorgeous to the point that I forget it’s a doctor’s office bc it’s not sterile (which is very nice :)), is constantly updated and a little birdie told me that Dr. Ahdoot does the design. Amazing because it has an understated feminine touch. I don’t know where he finds the time! The space is very classy and calm — quite fitting for the Women’s Pavillion.
His primarily female staff is really lovely. They all work together well, I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes, and I’ve been able to get appointments when I really needed them at short notice. Because of this and the accessibility of Dr. Ahdoot and his staff, I know they really care and I don’t feel like I’m just a number. The service is very personalized, the doctor and his staff have even called me during the weekend (!) when they noticed something abnormal! Thank God it wasn’t major but seriously, I’ve never had a doctor and his assistant contact me on the weekend :) to alert me to make my health a priority and guide me to be at my optimal health. He gave me pharmaceutical and home remedy suggestions and they were inexpensive and they worked within days. When his assistant says he’ll call he does at his earliest convenience which is very refreshing and reassuring that he’s trying to help.
Dr. Ahdoot is also very comprehensive — he was able to help me with my vitamin B deficiency that fatigued me for months. He gave me a B nasal spray to try weekly and quite immediately the spot on my tongue disappeared and my energy returned. Wow! The sprays were faster than taking the vitamins. I’ve also tried prenatal vitamins and iron supplements that have helped my energy during cycles, and the vitamins provide nutrients I need in this phase of life. He’s advised me about family planning and is very easy to speak to. Dr. Ahdoot doesn’t talk down to patients like some pretentious doctors do. He treats us as his contemporaries, is very approachable and kindhearted.
He checks my fibroids and cycle regularity and explains the holistic connection between different health dynamics in a lay fashion so I’m not lost. I definitely want Dr. Ahdoot and his team by my side when I start my family so I can make sure that I have people I can trust. I even met another doctor down the hall who trusted Dr. Ahdoot to deliver his first child so why wouldn’t I? It’s a blessing to find good doctors in this town.

This is my first Unilocal review ever and it’s because I absolutely love Dr. Ahdoot and his staff! He just delivered my 10lb baby boy and made it an incredibly enjoyable process. Any questions or concerns I have had throughout this process he or his staff answered immediately. Everyone there is knowledgeable and helpful but more than that I feel like I’m one of the family when I go to the office. It’s hard to say you love going to any doctor but I honestly thoroughly enjoy my visits to Dr. Ahdoot. Thank you a million times over for everything you do!

Years ago I was faced with health issues that were not being addressed by my local gynecologist in my area. I was given Dr. Adhoot’s information to call and make an appointment even though I lived three hours away because I was desperate for answers. My daughter and I arrived almost one hour early, because we gave ourselves plenty of time in case we would have trouble locating his office. To our surprise Dr. Ahdoot saw me during his lunch hour and while my daughter was waiting, he invited her to have lunch with his staff which he provided. To my total surprise, he located a large tumor that was causing all of my problems (heaving bleeding, release of tissue) which had caused me two visits to the hospital and also blood transfusions from heavy losses of bleeding. Two weeks after my visit my tumor was removed and my health was restored.
Today, I am finding myself in a similar situation by not receiving the medical care I need for an abnormal pap smear. I was due for a D&C which has already been cancelled and I’m now faced with locating another gynecology physician. I’m not one to wait around to be re-​scheduled. I am up early and already surfing the internet for someone closer to home. Dr. Adhoot can you please recommend someone in the Fresno, Ca area? I’m willing to drive an hour to see a good physician for my concerns.

This man saved my wife’s life…
We had a child on Jan 28^th of this year, not because she was due, but because she got the flu (I gave it to her, sorry Maria!). Dr. Ahdoot urged us to go to the hospital ASAP so we went. It turns out she had excess liquid in her womb which was at dangerous levels. After the the C section (baby was breeched) her blood pressure sky rocketed and we were again in the danger zone. It was stabilized, then in the middle of the night she stopped breathing for a bit, but it was enough for the nurses on staff to all run to the room. So, to say the least we had a hard delivery and even tougher recovery, but the one constant was Dr. Ahdoots care. He wanted to be sure maria’s condition was taken seriously, even when the hospital staff wanted to minimize everything.
Dr. Ahdoot went above and beyond to make sure my wife was taken as a special case cause nothing about it was easy. He was there when we it was time for the c section and was available in the middle of the night when she stopped breathing. When he would check up on us and let us know everything was going to be ok it made a world of difference. Even not that it’s been a few months since this all happened he still cares enough to help us out any way he can.
If and when we have another baby Dr. David Ahdoot will be our guy, no questions asked…

Dr. Ahdoot is only there for the $$$. Doesn’t care much about the Patients.
I went to his office for a year with not much of a result. and they scared me with their calls couple time, and if there were any test done, they would never call to give the results. I had to call and see how everything was. Last time I had a pap smear test appointment. After waiting the the cold exam room for 20 minutes, the INTERN came in and did all the procedures. After everything was done, Dr. Ahdoot came in and tapped on my shoulder and said everything is okay and left the room without giving me the time to ask any questions. I came out upset, paid the visit, I didn’t have insurance at the time, and left. I called back the next day to let them know how upset I was but that didn’t do anything. I will never go back to them.

When we came to Dr. Ahdoot my husband and I just couldn’t get pregnant. 15 or so years of steady birth control had rendered me somewhat barren … we were devastated. We wanted a little baby so bad but it just didn’t seem to be in the cards for us.
Our first appt. with Dr. Ahdoot completely changed our attitude and gave us hope from day one and I’m proud to say that on January 13^th, 2014 we welcomed our beautiful baby boy, Max, into this big crazy world. We’ve never been happier or more proud. I can say with the utmost certainty that we would NOT have been able to enjoy this amazing experience without Dr. David Ahdoot! He is a Godsend and a true expert in the world of babies! Top to bottom, whether it be getting pregnant, delivering, surgery, after care or starting the whole process over, he is the BEST in the business.
Dr. Ahdoot has rekindled the lost art of good bedside manor. He truly understands the positive connection between a patient and their physician, especially when going through the sometimes arduous task of getting pregnant or delivering.
Dr. Ahdoot actually listens to your questions and offers all options medically available, not just the options that benefit him or his profit margin. He’s supportive, pro-​mommy and pro-​family.
Most of all when we are in his exam room he makes us feel like we are the ONLY patient on the books that day. His staff is courteous, knowledgable and super friendly.
Simply put he is the best there is!

I was referred to Dr. Ahdoot by a trusted friend. I was kept waiting for over an hour, without explanation, when I was finally taken into the exam room, I waited another half an hour. The doctor came in for literally 10 minutes, scribbled out a prescription, did a quick, half ass pap and left. I felt like I was at a drive through! I watched and he was literally popping in and out of exam rooms just to get rid of patients and bring in new ones, assembly line style. I never received a follow up call, test results, nothing!
I did however receive an invoice for an amount insurance didn’t cover. They had not submitted my visit as a regular check up and were in return balance billing me! Talk about adding insult to injury !
A definite NEVER return, don’t waste your time!
