CVS

My regular pharmacy. They’re always so helpful and on top of everything. Always willing to help, and are willing to find the right answers for me. I appreciate the reminder texts and phone calls. Cannot comment on the rest of CVS, since I only go to the Pharmacy section.
I can say that there tends to be MANY solicitors asking for money in front of their entrance. I’m always surprised to see that they only have one entrance/​exit (I would think this is a fire hazard).

We go to this location often. I could not find friendlier and more caring pharmacy staff !!! My thanks Lucine the pharmacist. She is awesome !!!

very disappointed! I went back for something and asked for the same representative that helped me before, her name was piedad and they told me she was no longer working there! That she was let go! Honestly I don’t think anyone there is or was as dedicated to their job like she was! She was so sweet and helpful! Shame on you cvs for letting her go! I bet they fired her to hire someone new to pay them less then piedad so they can save money!

This is the WORST CVS in the world. Sounds a little dramatic but I have been to this CVS over the last five years. It was my neighborhood CVS and now I go cause of the great stores around Zankou, Sprouts, and Chop Stop. I thought drop off a prescription do some Sprout shopping but Noooo! After a 45 minute wait to drop off (you have that thought after 20 mins that its taking long then It shouldn’t be much longer so I will wait versus just leaving) then another 25 mins for pick up. Then Pharmacists decided to let 4 people go ahead to get their flu shots. You got to be kidding me. I am surprise they haven’t removed the pharmacist for bad managing for years!!! I am finally DONE. Goodbye and I won’t ever go in your store for candy, Lotion, make up wipes, nail polish and other frivolous purchases that I like to make. I only gave a 1 star because other wise I couldn’t make the review.

I like to go to CVS because they have a wide variety of makeup & hair products to select from that are also inexpensive. The pharmacy isn’t the best but I’ve actually had a really good experience with one of the pharmacists that works there. He’s a bald Armenian young man who was the nicest person I’ve ever come across. Before my grandmother past away from cancer last year he would help her every time she went into the store and was nothing but patient and unbelievable sweet! You can tell that he genuinely cares about who he helps at the store. I can’t remember his name but he is such a sweet guy! The girls that work there on the other hand can be a bit snappy and rude but for the most part the staff is helpful!

This complaint is for the white tall male with glasses who’s been there for 20 years, that works the cash registers. You have got to be the rudest employee I’ve ever come across. How your still working at CVS is beyond me. It’s easy dude. Next, Hi, your rewards card please, and Thank you. That’s all. Instead he gives off a negative creepy stare to tell you your next and the rest is downhill. You obviously hate you job, so quit!

Going into CVS makes me depressed. I don’t know why. I think it’s because they have the worst toys. Don’t ever buy a kid’s toy from CVS. They seem so shitty and not fun. I’d get depressed if I got a toy from CVS, even today. Although, I suppose it says something about me if I’m still getting toys at my age. Sigh.. .

This is a huge store. I stopped in to get some items and finding them was a bit difficult to begin with. The store is a bit messy with merchandise not hanging, but laying on the shelves or floor. If you are in a hurry though, probably not the best place to stop as the line to check out was very long and there were only two cashiers. It took a long time to check out and had I not needed some of these items, I probably would have ditched the items (probably why the store is a bit messy) and left. Ralph’s is on the other side of the street, you might be better off walking over there.

AWFUL! I’ve never had such a horrible trip at a drugstore, I didn’t even know it was possible. I’m NEVER coming here again. And I dealt directly with the manager who didn’t know his face from his toes! I placed a one-​hour photo order online. Got the email the order was received, 1 hr later got the email the pictures were ready to be picked up. Went, and they couldn’t find my pictures, didn’t know how to reprint them with their own machine (wtf??) and had 2 employees plus the manager futzing around like chickens with their heads cut off.
I wasn’t the only unhappy customer– another woman said this was the worst place ever and she had been here 4 times and every time it was like this. I’ve been a Unilocal member since 2008 and this is only my 2^nd review and I literally logged on to complain about how awful this place is lol. And behind the counters– whew! If this was my store i would be ashamed– junk everywhere, shelving falling apart, nothing is organized. It looks like a bomb went off. No wonder they couldn’t find my pictures. I actually left empty handed as did several other customers because they didn’t know what the heck they were doing. Never coming here again. I went to a different location.

This store and pharmacy is way better than the Sherman oaks one. I prefer to go here. The workers are friendlier too.

I Have to agree with just about everyone here, way under staffed! I come in at all times different days hours and always, and I mean always a huge line in both drop off and pickups I use the online ordering and just go to pick up and wow always such a let down (Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

I am stunned to find out so many people have left negative reviews about the Pharmacy here. They have I believe 3 different Pharmacists– 2 females and one man.
I’m not sure of the Pharmacists name but he is a very nice and helpful man (unlike the females) The staff is very friendly and they know their stuff. It does take long sometimes but I understand why since I have worked in a pharmacy before.
The store itself is not bad, just a bit unorganized at times. They do have a great selections of make –up which I enjoy a lot more than other brand name cosmetics. Great perks is that they have a lot of parking.

There is nothing wrong with this place… they have the essentials and a good selection of the non-​essentials as well. I come here to pick up things like toothpaste, birthday cards, and candy. Most of the reviews I have read about this place are about how crappy the pharmacy is… to me all pharmacies are the same — understaffed, slow, and gross. I bet the same goes with this one, however you can take that comment or leave it as I have never had a prescription filled here. Anywhoo, I will continue to come here when I am in a pinch and need some over-​the-​counter whatever or a jumbo bag of Reese’s Pieces.

Waited another 40 minutes after the time they said it would be ready.
Enough said. Get your prescriptions filled somewhere else.

If Unilocal could have a WARNING – STAY AWAY rating, this would be a good one to use it on. I started coming to this CVS pharmacy for my prescriptions because it is open 24 hours and I work crazy hours. MISTAKE. I have been here over 15 times and every single time it seems to get worse. I am very patient but last night was the final time I am going to make myself go through this hell of a pharmacy.
I have the same 2 prescriptions every time and more times than not they only have one of them. If they have both of them, then they make me wait at LEAST an hour. I went in last night to get them filled at 7:00pm and they said they weren’t going to be ready until at LEAST 10:30pm. The girl behind the counter was young and rude and seemed like she would rather die than be working there. When I asked her if there was another CVS I could go to because I needed these quickly, she just replied with «I have no idea».
«Hey, she could have been having a bad day and they could have been really slammed» in a normal situation that’s what I would have said. But this happens every single time. No matter what time it is when I go in, whether it 11:15pm or noon on a Sunday. There is always a long line, always more than 3 people wandering around aimlessly in the back trying to avoid eye contact with you at all costs and it always takes me close to an hour for just PICKING UP! I’m finally taking the step and moving on, for my own sanity! It sucks because it is something that I need every month but really, people, it’s not worth it!

Painfully slow service! Here’s the reason for my dissatisfaction. My medication comes standard in 100 pills with 25mg dosage. The medication is already packaged in a container with the correct prescription. I saw the pharmacy tech grab the bottle! He told me to comeback in 20 minutes!
He could have easily given me the prepacked container of medicine, like the previous time! He would have had me out the door in minutes!
However, he choose to repackage the medication in a generic pill container, and inconvenience me!
Such a waste of time and resources!

I was a fan of CVS until I needed to use their pharmacy. I visited this CVS on a Sunday, granted traffic is sort of high due to the weekend, however, I did use their automated system to phone in a refill for my infant daughter. I chose the option to pick it up the day after I called in just in case her medication needed to be ordered since a lot of pharmacies don’t carry pepcid in liquid form.
I was disappointed to see only one pick up register open, when there were two, and only one other person working in the pharmacy. Two people total and there was a line of about 5 or 6 people, I was third in line. A lady in front of me had a buttload of stuff to get and that took a good 10 minutes due to the fact that the guy had to leave the register to get another lotion since the price tag was not on it. I do realize it was not the customers fault and nor was it the guy at the registers fault either. He doesn’t do the hiring, etc. Well, it came my turn and sure enough, the medication had to be mixed and the pharmacist was not on the floor, she was on break. It may have been a while ago, but I did work in a pharmacy for over 5 years and I know that a pharmacist must be on the floor at all times in order for a pharmacy to operate, if not, it will be shut down. I guess this is no longer a rule anymore, the guy (who looked no older than 18… seriously) pulled out a framed piece of paper with typing on it, I guess it is no longer a law that a pharmacist must be present at all times, the medications that need mixing cannot be dispersed and consults cannot happen without the pharmacist present. Why was this not displayed sooner though?
I came back a half hour later like I was told and the framed law paper was taken off the desk and put away. I think its important that that be out at all times for consumers! I have thought about reporting this to the pharmacy board as well. I don’t like how this was done and how CVS is operating here.
UPDATE!!!
I am writing this update about 3 hours after I left this store. 2 ½ hours after I left the pharmacy the first time, I got a call from the pharmacy. It was the kid that worked behind the counter calling me to ask me if the medication that they gave my daughter, my INFANT daughter who is not even 2 months old yet, was thick or not. I took one look at the bottle, and the bottle was only filled ¼th of the way and it should have been completely full. The pharmacist had not mixed it properly and let me leave the pharmacy like that. I was then transferred to the pharmacist who answered the phone with «yeah?!» Totally rude, until she found out who I was. She then asked me if the medication was thick and I told her that the bottle was not even full. The second thing she said was «did you give her any of the medication yet?» When a pharmacist asks that, you know something went wrong. I said no, but what if I would have? She still has not answered my question, not even when I went in to get the right medication.
I went in, mad as hell, and as apologetic the pharmacist was, I just couldn’t bring myself to be nice to her. This was my infant daughter, and she did her wrong. Pharmacists are human, but you don’t mess with MY daughter like that, you don’t let me leave with the wrong medication, especially when it’s something I cannot control.
You can count on me reporting this pharmacy to the pharmacy board now, bright and early tomorrow. Such a shame.

This is rather standard of all CVSs, to be honest. I was very unhappy when ExpressScripts stopped working with Walgreens — I love Walgreens Pharmacy. They are great.
So now I have to work with CVS. As usual, a LOOOONG line for pick up. Only one person on the register (although I see at least 4 more people wandering around back there).
And as usual, this one star is for people that GO to CVS, GO to the pick up counter and start rambling on about something non sensical (ie don’t have an rx with CVS, asking about Canadian drugs, or weird stuff).
Come on, CVS. Please help police the pharmacy line. You aren’t 24 hours like Walgreens, so I can only get there after work and it’s chaos.
To be fair, this CVS pharmacy isn’t as bad as the one on Alameda and San Fernando!

I dread having to come to this CVS to pick up my monthly prescription… It doesn’t matter what time of day I go and how many people are in line, the wait always seems to run at least 30 minutes, even if there is only one guy ahead of me…
