Burbank Water and Power

This company is horrible. Being in the customer service field myself I can can honestly say that this company is not designed correctly. Mainly their internet portal /​payment access. Your payments are never reflected into your current balance until the following month and/​or end of the month. A normal (HTML) site services their customers by providing a way to pay your bill and see how much you owe on the spot. This company turned my service off for «not making a payment.» The problem is that I did make a payment but the payment was not reflected into the current balance so I was not sure how much more I owed. They are rude, and the people who work for this company are not educated whatsoever. I would be in shock to find out if one of these Burbank Water and Power employees even have a degree, of any sort. I recommend moving to another town/​city to avoid this place from taking your money every month. They will find a way to make your life hell. All over an electric bill.

BWP is a municipal utility company, owned by the people it serves. I have always received excellent service when I needed it. They are willing to work with the customer to make payment arrangements when necessary, and provide quick service when you need a change in service.
