Erick and Kiko X.

Business Owner

Kiko: Collector extraordinaire, pet photographer and cat lover. From working at Kat Von D’s Wonderland Gallery and serving tables, opening her own shop is a dream come true.

Erick: Professional chef by trade, the love of collecting and picking soon took over his life. Working in numerous fields including electrician, musician, landscaper, and remodeling apartments, he loved getting his hands dirty picking collectables was the next best thing. (wait, the best thing) Erick can’t help but believe that all the hard work in the past and odd jobs helped him get where he is now. Starting with an online store where he created and built practical crafts such as furniture and lamps by refurbishing music equipment, was just the start of what became Bearded Lady Vintage. He is very adamant in providing a male perspective in vintage shopping and bringing it to his store to cater to a side that is very rarely seen in vintage shops.

Love, LOVE this place! The items for sale are a little unpredictable of course, but checking in to see what they’ve gotten in since the last time I was there is definitely part of the fun. The people who work there are super friendly and helpful. Generally I hate being approached by salespeople, but at Bearded Lady it’s done in an unobtrusive and genuine way. They don’t follow you around, hover, or awkwardly prolong the conversation and it seems like they really just want to help answer any questions you might have. Given the oddity of some of the stuff you’ll find in there it’s only a matter of time until you’ll have questions!
I don’t get over there as often as I’d like but this place is easily on my list of shops to check in with every few weeks.

One of the most amazing shops ever– amazing staff and such great stuff in the store. I got the most beautiful pigs blood necklace in bullet casing there and is now one of my favorite peice of jewelry I own. There is also have a musuem about a block away. You should definitely go if you have a free time! ^_^

This has to be one of my favorite stores! The owners are so nice and fun to talk to. They really know a lot when it comes to what they sell. I love how they know they history of pieces and lots of times even the background of that particular item. My husband and I went in asking for a doctors bag, which it turns out they didn’t have any at the time. But a week later we got a call from them and they had found one! They were even able to tell me the date of when the bag was made. How cool is that?!? In case anyone wanted to know the bag is from 1905, and can I say that the price was really good considering that the bag is over 100 years old?
The taxidermy is so cool and creative and it’s all very well priced I might add. I’ve got some really cool pieces and have even been able to custom order some stuff.
They also have really cool events and classes. I’ve taken their taxidermy class and have gone and seen a magician and sideshow acts there as well.

This place is cool! Friendly staff and reasonable prices. There are so many one-​of-​a-​kind items, you could spend hours looking at everything. I thought the funeral room was especially interesting and the macabre atmosphere is neat, too. Definitely worth a visit and would be a good place to go if you need to find something unique as a gift.

I found the shop on Instagram because I love taxidermy and all the medical weird stuff. This shop has all the cool, creative, vintage medical tools and devices, ethical taxidermy, old photographs and greeting cards, records, signs, dolls, records, posters, art. It’s a funky, little shop with several rooms. I wish I had come sooner and I will definitely be back! I’m telling all my friends about this place because I know they will enjoy it as much as me. Super friendly people here that made me feel welcomed and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.

Loved this place! Took my 14 year old and 7 year old to explore this shop… we all loved it! Owners are super friendly and gave us some background information on some of the pieces we were interested in. They let us browse and explore their shop freely which was like touring a museum. We will be back to buy more unique gifts and see their ever changing selection of oddities.

It’s been far too long since I’ve visited this awesome shop. My boyfriend and I used to come by a lot when they first opened and we always found something interesting. We’ve purchased many unique and random items here that we never knew we needed! Also, the owners are especially amazing and friendly. I just love how they are continuously expanding the shop!

One of my friend recommended me this vintage shop. OMG love this place, they have a lot of beautiful things of the past. I grew up with my grandmother, and it’s probably a love for old things I inherited from her. The old things should be protected, they can be very useful and remind your childhood and the people whom you loved.

I absolutely fell in love with this antique store! They have the most randomess oddest things here and that is what I love… The people were so sweet and asked if I needed help finding anything. Hands down, one of my favorite shops in Los Angeles for all things one of a kind and leaning towards the strange and unnatural !!! Kiko & Erick have curated a wonderful environment for those who are looking for unique items to purchase as gifts for others or themselves !!
I have found so many treasures here and K & E take pride in knowing the origin of the items to pass along to the new owners. What is the most fun is spending time looking and continually finding things to buy whether it is a Nosferatu silhouette, medical slides, taxidermy creatures, vintage pottery, creepy ephemera, sideshow banners — oh I could go on and on !
I happily just bought a vintage wax head recently so i like to keep my eye on their new items posted on Instagram !!
Please go there, browse and buy! BLV has all price points so you can either break the bank or get something super cool without going into debt.

Not sure what happened. On a previous visit my girlfriend and I had shown interest in a wonderful mouse diorama lamp. Which we found out was created by Eric, one of the owners. Today we came in and were planning on leaving with the lamp as well as a cute taxidermy bunny. Well, today wasn’t the day. I inquired about the diorama and that’s as far as it went. Don’t think today was a big customer service day. It’s to bad too. This item definitely needs a special owner. And I think we’re those people. Maybe we’ll try again in a couple weeks. Hope it’s still there!

Recently my friend took me here, as she knew I was a fan of vintage and oddities. While the shop is small, it’s packed and has lots to offer, from records to housewares to of course the awesome crazy cool bizarre. Bones, taxidermy, and med posters.
Like I said, the place is small, and some may find it difficult to move around, but I’ve been in smaller and more crowded shops. The place is fun and brightly colored.
The couple who owned the shop are incredibly nice too. They also have a darling cat.
Will return many times!

Really cute place and definitely filled with its share of oddities! The back room is like a scene out of American Horror Story, with its vintage laboratory equipment and huge syringes.
They have a cool corner filled with old skool games, like Old Nintendo games, Marvel cards, and board games.
Also featured are an array of taxidermy animals and framed bats and insects! Gotta love this place!

Love love love. Today was my first visit. I was looking for something interesting to use as a planter. I didn’t find what I was looking for, but I still walked away with an amazingly creepy doll head with a dome display, and some cool vintage photos of creepy nuns.
Two hours later, I found myself back at the store to pick up beautiful piece of art that I had talked myself out of the first trip. I couldn’t live without it so I went back for seconds and got it.
They have a great collection and there is more I would like to have if only I had the space to put everything on my wish list.

This is a special new vintage shop on Magnolia Blvd. with a well-​curated selection of whimsical vintage items. I had driven by a few times and made a mental note to stop in, then I saw a post on Magnolia Park’s Facebook mentioning them so I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. I was greeted by two adorable kitties– bonus! The shop is like a little house, the store owners were both friendly and offered help. They have a nice mix of everything from a Johnny Cash 8 Track, vintage cocktail rings (I bought one for $ 10), old comic books (I found an awesome Mickey Mouse one for $ 5!), scarves, books, games, kitty figurines, and other fun items.
A definite must-​stop if you are checking out all of the vintage shops on Magnolia– they also said they get new items in all of the time!
