Came in with a broken iphone 5 and a swollen battery. Thought I was going to be charged 100+ dollars… Nope!

I brought my s6 edge here to get the cracked screen repaired about 2 month ago. Cost was $ 250, with a 3 month warranty. Picked this location because it had great reviews on Unilocal,but i did not exactly have a great experience.
1st visit — screen replaced, but signal sporadically disconnects, front camera missing, often overheats, and the screen bends with a little bit of pressure.
2nd visit — installed my camera back in, but screen still bends and now shows gaps between the frame and the screen. 2 lines show up on the screen. Also home button stopped working, phone would severely overheat, and signal is still randomly disconnecting.
3rd visit — home button fixed and they ordered a proper screen with support for the frames under warranty. Phone still overheats, signal still randomly disconnecting, and was told it is most likely an issue with software.
4th visit — screen replaced and only issue left is with the signal and overheating issue and they told me there is nothing they can do. The new screen had a massive scratch on the top when I received it, but that isn’t a huge deal to me at this point.
I’m still within the 3 month warranty period (as of this review) but I decided to trust them and went to t mobile and Samsung to get my phones reception issue resolved. They opened it up and instantly denied and cancelled my warranty, telling me it’s heavily tampered with and won’t repair it. They showed me the insides and it’s missing gaskets, and replaced with double sided tape, with everything ripped up. I then asked them how much it would cost for them to replace cracked screens and they told me 199 $+tax, should have just done that in the first place.
I posted pictures here of everything that was damaged in just the first layer (back cover off, what the samsung store showed me), I did not bother trying to get deeper than that. Maybe they just specialize in iPhone but I’d stay away if you have any other type device.
tl;dr — cracked screen, replaced screen but new issues arose afterwards.

I got my shattered phone screen replaced there a couple of months ago. The guy who helped me was nice and seemed honest, and I got a decent price. If you check in on Unilocal,they’ll give you either a free screen protector or a small discount. I took the screen protector, to avoid scratches on my brand new screen. It’s a nice promotion, but the screen protector doesn’t really work at all and I have several large and small scratches on my screen now, even though I haven’t dropped it again or placed it facedown on a rough surface or anything like that.
Also, if you notice anything wrong with the touch screen functioning once they’ve replaced the screen, don’t be afraid to speak up! There was a section of my keyboard that wasn’t responsive anymore, and when he asked me to test out the touch screen I pointed it out and they fixed it right away, no charge.
Only complaint is that when they hammered the screen into place, they bent my phone slightly out of shape, so it wobbles on flat surfaces and doesn’t lay flat on a table anymore. I think I might still be under their warranty, so I’ll probably go back and they might be able to fix it. All in all though, the screen fits well to my iPhone 5s and hasn’t popped up in any corners or anything like that, and the total cost was $ 79.

Omer is the greatest. We were on vacation and my Samsung Galaxy SIII just wasn’t charging at all even with a brand new charger. Before we left I’d taken it to my local store and after literally 2 minutes they wrongly diagnosed it as the charger. Omer investigated and correctly diagnosed that my charging port needed to be replaced. The phone is now charging and I wish Omer’s store was up here in the Seattle area so I could switch to it. Beyond impressed by the quality of the repair they did on my iPhone 6. My screen was completely shattered and I was shopping around for the best place to fix the screen. I took my phone to AM Cell Phone Repairs to have my cracked glass screen and LCD replaced after reading all of the good reviews here. I paid around $ 200 for original Samsung parts. Not even a week later, the adhesive began to fail and one of the corners of the glass screen began to separate from the body. Despite having a case on the phone, the raised corner was able to snag on something at one point, causing a chip in the glass. I called the company up to try and reach a solution, but they were completely unwilling to replace the damaged screen, despite the issue being fully caused by them.
I ended up taking my business elsewhere and was forced to issue a chargeback on my credit card in order to get my money back.
EDIT: Upon posting this review, I was contacted by the store owner, Adam. Despite it being too late for any real resolution from this shop, he acknowledge their mistake and offered to remedy the situation as best he could.

Was greeted by Omar at the store. I came by right before closing time and he still helped me out, changed out my shattered iPhone screen to a brand new, shiny one!
Not only was he super nice and friendly, they offered me and my kiddo water and the service time was fast. I love efficiency, friendliness and a good location. Will positively go back here. They have a good selection of items to purchase and accessories as well.
PS. My son was in dire need to visit the restroom and Omar let him go to the back. I love a place that is kid-​friendly. Will continue taking my repair business there in the future.

I came in yesterday before my night shift to drop off my niece’s iPad Mini, which I was getting the screen replaced as her Christmas gift. I was helped by Omar, who took my work order and got me in and out of the store within 5 minutes.
While it would have been ready later that night, I was able to pick it up the next day (once again, before my shift), and was in and out of the store within 2 minutes.
I was very pleased with the work that they did on her iPad. They have a special if you check in that you get $ 5 off a repair and a free screen protector, so I was able to take advantage of that. Unfortunately, when I dropped off the iPad, I was told they didn’t have any for the model that I turned in. However, to my luck, when I picked it up, they had a generic screen protector on it (similar to the one that you would get on a brand new electronic device). It’s something that I would definitely replace, but it was nice of them to still include it.
Even though I live about 15 minutes away, I would not hesitate to come back here for any more repairs that I might need for my bevy of electronic devices (that they service of course).

I took my iPhone 6 in last Saturday to get the screen fixed cause I dropped it and it shattered!!! My phone was done within 30 minutes went back to pick it up and it looked good there was just the lil plastic cover on top however I didn’t want to change it until I got a glass protector well the plastic fell off today and my screen has black lines in the background with 3 white smudges in the screen as well!!! This is horrible!!!

I called this guys to fix my galaxy s6 edge screen and led they said it’s going to take 3 – 5 days to repair and price will be $ 300 to do it
I didn’t have too many options so i went with this guys.
After one week i called to pick up my phone and omar told me they have a backorder and he can’t get the part and if i want it from a diffrent supplier that will cost me additional $ 80 so he can get the part for more any way i got my phone to samsung repair service that charge me 229 $ and take them 3 days to repair

My gf & I were looking for a place to fix our shattered screens on a Sunday and we stumbled upon this place. Though we searched for a cool minute, I came across AM Cellphone Repairs and loved the fact that they give you a 90 day guarantee. This made more inclined to visit their store as opposed to other competitors in the area. Each cell phone repair takes 30 mins. The guy who helped us was nice and even gave us a good deal for repairing two phones at once. And if you check-​in with Unilocal,you get $ 5 off.
My phone turned out great, as well as the glass screen protector we purchased. My gf’s phone is another story… When we got to the store to pick up our fixed phone, her glass screen protector was lifting and we asked the guy who helped us why it looked different than mine and he said that’s just how it is. That bc mine was «white» and hers was black that you could notice the difference more. To me that was total BS. Needless to say, the screen protector ended up lifting by the next day and my gf went back to have it replaced. The gentleman who helped her the second time around was really helpful and replaced the screen protector for her.
Minus 1 star for the first employee’s laziness to actually fix the phone and for not being completely honest. You can’t tell customers that «that’s just how it is», that’s not how customer service works.

One of my friends referred me to AM IPhone repair, back when they got their iPhone screen fixed. When my daughter dropped my 5s and the screen shattered, naturally I went here.
I was already checking out different businesses around the store to keep my daughter busy, until the repair was made. The guy in the front, Omar, took me in right away and requested the phone. Within 10 minutes the phone was done and as an added bonus the Unilocal deal was cherry on top. I opted in for the tempered glass, which makes the phone look and feel way cooler. I tested it, touch pad, camera and everything works perfectly.
I’m literally surprised by how fast the repair was made and how friendly the staff was. They even gave my daughter a small bottle of water, which made her day. As I was leaving, I read on the wall that they also fix computers, so I will definitely be back with my lap top. Thanks guys, keep up the great work.
