Acai Jungle Cafe

I had the coffee shake with cashews, cacao, agave and coffee. It was orgasmic! I also had a vegan salad that had quinoa, goji berries, avocado, kale and an amazing ginger fresh made dressing!

I love this spot! It’s a really nice place to get a nice and thick acai bowl for a cheap price. It’s a very filling bowl, and there’s a nice variety of superfoods that you can choose to top your bowl off with! There’s 3 different sizes to choose from, but I feel that the smallest one fills me up for a good couple hours. Parking is street parking, but there’s always parking whenever I come here!

Ordered bowls for delivery on a rainy Sunday. The Acai bowls were exactly as prepared per the substitutions and additions and even though they were delivered the acai was a perfect sorbet-​like consistency and not melted.
I love their simplistic menu… just choose a size and what you want in your smoothie-​bowl. YUM!

so, after quitting soda, i went to healthy juicing & found this place near my house. it has made my life so much more… uhm… *thinking of the right word*
«healtified» (is this even a word) anyway, I’ve tried various combinations of things to add, but I guess I’m a creature of habit. my ninja usual is: strawberries, hemp seed, chia seed, bee pollen, goji berries & cacao nibs.
yes, I still eat «junk food»… c’mon now. this ninja just quit drinking carbonated beverages…
so, if you haven’t tried açai yet, come down & get some. I promise you won’t be disappointed & you’ll probably thank me, again…

The acai melts in your mouth! For 6 $ you get a decent sized portion with bananas, granola, and one additional topping. I called in to pick it up and it was ready for me when I got there. Acai is so good after a workout. Parking on the street was pretty easy to find. I would definitely recommend this place!

Best place ever!!! Okay maybe I’m a little crazy but love their Acai bowls and their matcha green tea shakes. They’re vegan and tasty! And the people there are so nice. Nice place to eat in Burbank and just 5 STARS all the way around!!!

This place never disappoints. I love this place and stop by whenever I am in Burbank for work.

PROS:
— Friendly, polite, and extremely nice staff (Story time: They were closing early on New Year’s Eve and kept the store opened so we could order a panini and jungle bowl. Sorry for the trouble but also y’all rock!)

CONS:
— They don’t have a location on the west side where I live. It’s the saddest thing for me.
— No Wi-​Fi. But I’m too busy enjoying my food here to be too ruffled by that.
VERDICT: I’m obsessed and the only thing keeping me from coming here every day is that I live on the west side.

Second visit:
Still good but wish they put more Acai in their bowls :(Less than ½ my bowl was Acai and the rest was toppings. Glad they put tons of toppings but it overpowers the Acai. And I really like their Acai!
Fresh Cocoa Protein Bar (3 stars): not sure how much protein is in here, they need nutrition info.

This is a nice laidback café just off Magnolia Blvd that I happened to pass by one day. What caught my attention was it wasn’t another coffee-​centric café or typical greasy lunch fare, it was fresh acai bowls and organic healthy snacks & meals perfect for post-​work out fuel (or after a day of shopping at the nearby mall or IKEA!). I had perused Unilocal prior to stopping by and was eager to try the highly rated $ 6.50 matcha green tea shake– a creamy, not too sweet concoction made with matcha (duh), cashews, lavender, and agave. It was the perfect late afternoon pick me up of nutrition and natural energy without the jittery feeling– and would probably work as a light meal replacement if you weren’t super hungry.
The café itself is inviting, with ample outdoor seating surrounded by green plants to give it a jungle vibe. Inside they have some merchandise for sale (honey, teas, etc.) and small tables. I look forward to going back soon to try an acai bowl and their other menu offerings. Many vegan and paleo options too!

I couldn’t hold food down or liquids because of fever-​cold-​flu crap. So when I tried carrot juice mixed with water and it settled well without nausea, I ran to EAT24 and looked up health foods. I found Acai Jungle Café.

I ordered every shake on Acai Jungle Café online menu (5). And sipped them for 24-​hours with water for good hydration. I loved the Bulletproof Coffee and Tropical Paradise Shakes. I would drink them healthy too.

Came here after a long hike – It was a scorching day and an acai bowl was definitely the way to go.
The acai here is the legit type of acai – not sure how to explain but it’s not the water-​down-​with-​juice kind. The acai is thick and sticky, which is what makes this super filling and satisfying. There are a few different sizes to choose from and I got the regular, which comes with two free toppings. There is a good selection of toppings available – various fruits, nuts, bee pollen, goji berries. Yum!
Parking is street parking, and we were able to easily find parking right in front of the store. This place is a little in the middle of nowhere so parking shouldn’t be a big problem.

Had the bulletproof coffee and the egg sandwich and it was a great breakfast for under $ 10. The sandwich had scrambled eggs, tomatoes, I think Gruyère cheese and an aioli spread all on ciabatta panini style bread. It was delish and I’d definitely go back for that. Great friendly customer service!

Hi random cool spot in Burbank! You are very welcome here.
The interior is open and bright and you feel like you should be in Silverlake, but you’re glad that you’re in Burbank.
The staff was helpful and even allowed for samples to help you determine the perfect choice for your bowl.
The outside seating area is nice and plentiful and they bring you your items which is novelty. No one really does that anymore.
Their cold brew was solid, their bowls were great, so I will be back here.

I could not be happier! I just moved into the area and was hoping to stumble upon a breakfast place I could add to my morning routine… And bam! I walk in yesterday evening; I’m greeted by two beautiful friendly people, they tell me about the egg sandwich and I say, «see you tomorrow morning!»
Here I am! The iced coffee is fantastic, and the sandwich… Ohhhhh my. Delicious handcrafted perfection with a side of fresh fruit. I cannot wait to try more of what’s on the menu. This is a wonderful place! No seriously though get the egg sandwich, it’s like the picture you see of a perfect sandwich in a cook book… But it’s there in front of you and not a two dimensional image.
Lots of sitting space, by the way. Outside and inside. Great place to meet up with people, beautiful inside and out. Beautiful!

After a nice workout at the park I came here with a group of 7 girls! It was Saturday around 12 PM and it wasn’t too packed.
Parking: It’s street parking. It was kinda hard to find parking. It’s LA though, what do you expect :(I didn’t have to park too far though.
Décor/​Ambiance: It’s a nice place to go after a workout or to enjoy a nice afternoon snack with your girls. The indoors is really cute and there’s also several outdoor tables to enjoy the fresh air!
Service: They were all really nice and willing to ask questions. There were only two people working so when my group of 7 came in they got busy, sorry haha! One of my friends dropped her salad after opening it and a guy offered to make her another one without being rude or making her feel bad. He was nice! The acai bowls came out fairly quickly as well.
Food: I got the $ 6 bowl which includes the acai, granola, bananas and one more topping of choice. I added hemp seeds on mine. So so yummy! The acai is a bit thicker than other places but I loved it.
Prices: Totally worth it! With the amount they give, it’s a lot cheaper than other acai bowl places.
Free acai bowl on your birthday!

I always love a good acai bowl. This place has some good add-​ins like chia seeds and goji berries but where they fall short is the acai base. Most places make it fresh but they use a pre made version that scoops like ice cream. This leaves me having to wait for it to melt enough so I can mix everything together and eat it. The base also has a weird after taste.
All in all I think I’ll still take myself to Robeks until a better option come along.
Sorry Acai Jungle. I wanted so much to like you but it just doesn’t do it for me.

$ 7 coffee with butter! You’d think it will taste amazing, right? Unfortunately I was very disappointed. I had 4 sips of it and had to toss the rest of it away. I“m not a coffee snob, but I know what a good coffee should taste like. I’ve had coffee with butter before, but moderation is a key to that. This one was overpowering and simple didn’t taste good. There was also a lack of sweetness (which should have been present– agave or honey at least). Unfortunately I won’t be back there again for coffee, but who knows, might stop by to try the acai bowls that everyone is raving about.

i prefer it to be creamier (think earthbar)
but i liked that they had different toppings

the coffee was very watered down
