I’ve called around to find a good deal to shred some old files and A1 Shredding had the best prices! They are very professional, fast, and have great attitude! I was very impressed by their work!

I am very careful with my documentations. I searched a local shred company and loved these reviews.
I came early on a Wednesday before noon (I assumed it’s a non peak day /​non peak hours ?)
No other customers were there.
Only one worker was there and I told him I had 3 standard size boxes for shredding.
He asked if I wanted to just drop it off or wait to watch it shred.
I asked to stay & watch.
He said he just turned off the machines and have to clean them.
I would have to wait 15 – 30 minutes!!!
I was in shock.
But what was I supposed to do? So I waited in my car.
He put the yellow chain up suggesting he was closed /​cleaning.
I waited & he wasn’t even kind that I waited.
I filled the highlighted paperwork.
Signed my name, occupation was highlighted (?), paid $ 10 per box
Am I happy I could finally shred my documents — yes.
Customer service /​experience — poor.

Went there today… they were fast and friendly and helpful… YEARS worth of accumulated paper gone in minutes… what a load off. Ten bucks a box! Great deal… good guys.

Easy! So easy and for me, $ 10 a banker’s box was totally worth it to be free of the junk that was weighing me down physically and emotionally! Nice guy, too. He has carts to make moving the boxes easier and he gave me a few nicer used boxes to bring home, too. Terrific! Only thing I would change is make the shreds into proper pieces and not just strips.

WTH! $ 20 for 2 trader Joe size bags??? And you say a little price increase. Honey, that’s not a little price increase. Came here a year ago and paid less than half of that!

I had a problem on my initial visit, but on my next visit they more than made up for it-​in fact, they did the job for free! You can’t get much more fair than that, can you? The price is no longer five dollars a box, but even at the current price of $ 10 a box it’s quite a bargain! Well recommended.

I dropped off five bankers boxes stuffed full of old personal documents and 10 minutes later had watched them shredded, paid my bill — $ 10 per box — and was on my way. A1 Shredding did a quick, great job and saved me a couple of hours at my small home shredder. Highly recommended!

In the process of moving and needed to shred months of paper build up. When I found this place on Unilocal I was stoked. It was close by, reasonably priced, and I could watch them shred my documents (you never know these days). While the hours of operation are a little difficult to work around (10am — 4pm & no weekends) I decided to give it a try. Better than trying to shred all that junk mail with my dinky at home shredder. I showed up at the facility yesterday about 10 – 15 minutes before closing thinking, based on prior Unilocal reviews, that it wouldn’t be a problem. WRONG! The gentleman there told me that they shut off the machines around 3:45pm in order to clean them and that I could either leave my stuff with him to shred the next day or I could return the next morning at 10am when they opened. The whole purpose of me choosing this shredding facility over others was so that I could watch my items being shredded so leaving them there wasn’t even an option in my mind. I decided to come back the following day as early as I could get there and I left feeling mislead by previous Unilocal reviews.
Went back to the shop this afternoon. When I got there the same gentleman from the previous day was inside already working on a waiting customer’s order and he had a second customer waiting in the wings. He came out and told me that I could either wait for him to finish or come back in 20 – 30 minutes. I opted to wait. Due to some confusion/​miscommunication he took my order prior to another waiting customer’s order and this other customer was just not having that. This customer suddenly got a little saucy with him and I immediately felt bad for the poor guy. He took my bags of papers, got me shredded and out of there in about 10 minutes. All in all, not bad, and for the record someone did come by while I was there to drop off papers to shred so my not wanting to leave my stuff there is purely my own paranoia. It is not a reflection on the business or the employees that work there.

I had some difficulty at first getting a hold of them to ask them about a job I had, but once I finally made contact, every employee was more than helpful and accommodating to all my shredding needs. I will definitely be going back.

If you’re looking for the best and simplest way to shred look no further A1 is inexpensive and very professional, taking credit cards was a plus. I was completely satisfied. Thanks for th quick and simple experience.

Just like the previous positive reviews said — this place is a paper-hoarder’s dream come true! I pulled up 15 mins before closing, thinking I had the equivalent of three boxes. The Very Nice Guy said it was only two boxes worth. $ 10 and 10 minutes later (after watching him shred my stuff), I was on my way.
I won’t be so freaked out over the «about to die» noises my home shredder has been making lately. For $ 5 a box, I can just keep a bin near my desk and run it over to A1 every few months when I fill it up.
I give A1 an A+!

After missing it the first time – it’s at the end of a driveway and not well-​marked – I arrived at A-​1 with three boxes full of documents and discs, some of which had been in storage for over a decade. $ 15 and 15 minutes later I was out of there; it was very easy. I’ll be back before I amass such a haul again.

Showed up today at lunchtime with two large trash bags filled with paper. They shredded it right away while I watched on the monitors, charged me $ 10 total, and I was on my way.
Friendly and easy. What more can you want?

This place is SO easy. If you’re coming down magnolia from the mall area it’s the first right after the bridge.
5 $ a box and you can watch them do shred your secrets. The guys here are super friendly which is a major plus.

They have changed my life, seriously. No matter what we do for a living, we ALL generate a lot of paper, info, data, discs, plastic, or whatever else. When it happens, and you need to get rid of it SAFELY, what do you do? Do you break 4 shredders at home like I did? Do you throw it in the recycle bin and hope for the best, praying that some evil little identity thief isn’t on the prowl for your stuff?
OR do you get your raggedy ass over to Burbank, and cast all your cares (and paper, plastic & digital junk) on to A1 SHREDDING and let them destroy your sensitive info quick and safe while you watch? I know what you’re thinking… «Ain’t nobody got time for that! I can’t get all these papers, discs, old files, and other crap down to Burbank! I have a baby, a business to run, a plane to catch, a… whatever else!»
Shut up weak sauce… A1 also has a shredding truck that Will come to you and do it up right, so nobody can jack you or hack you for your info. Get your life together. Shred your old stuff like a champ. A1 is the spot.

Fast and easy shredding and you get to see everything getting done on the spot. The Unilocal discount is good as promised. It is a little tucked away with no real signage to know you’re at the right place until you had passed it. The parking can be tough if you have a couple of folks in front of you.

This place is very efficient. You can watch your all your private papers just shred away into the ether! Bye bye phone records, porn receipts, and hotel records!!! ;) Oh and Bill was fast and to the point. 20 pounds shredded in about 5 min!

I came here based on all the great Unilocal reviews.
I showed up without an appointment at 3:30pm. You can pull into their driveway area. The two men working there were very friendly. I gave a big plastic bin to one man who took it away and I watched on a surveillance TV while he loaded the papers on to a conveyor belt that presumably goes to a shredder. Three minutes later I used my Unilocal coupon to get my first shred for free but it only would have cost $ 5. Years of sensitive documents off my hands and I’m so relieved, especially because I know that next time I won’t procrastinate now that I know how easy it is.
