Good day, I would like to take a few minutes of your time to let you know how great your staff is. I have been coming to Lake Mojave for over 25 years, in fact, this last week was my 54^th birthday and my 27^th LM year. My trip was a surprise from my girl friends who didn’t realize that it would be so hot around this time. I had 2 hours sleep Sunday when we arrived early Monday morning at the marina ready to launch and to beat the heat. I had a lot of mishaps getting here and the road in was tough… but ready now… for fun, i had asked my boat storage to check my battery and make sure it was charged… as they always do for the last 15 years. Well… to my not so happy surprise, my boat had some power but not enough to get it going. We had just got a slip (From Shirley, who has always been so very nice over the years!) and I was backed down on the launch ramp. With my eyes full of tears, I pulled out and headed towards the repair shop. I had just spent over 600 $ for a new water pump and service, and didnt have very much money as I have resigned from my corp job to move up to mountains to take care of my 89 year old mother… not making the nearly the same, in fact working a Holloways Marina in Big Bear. So now, I am really worried. Then… I met Chris in the repair shop… not only did he take care of me, found the problem, which was my boat storage’s fault for hooking back up my battery WRONG, he gave me a hug and said «don’t worry, we will take care of you and get you back on the water in no time. You are a long time valued customer and we are here to help. He put in the new battery, for a fair price… but the biggest surprise and thoughtful gesture, was when he said they would let me launch from the back of repair shop so i did not have to back out to main launch ramp!!! I was in tears when he told me this cause it was such a thoughtful gesture and It was a great experience. I Love Lake Mojave and each year I come with different people, they fall in love with her and now they come back. Thank you Lake Mojave staff and thank you Chris for being such a kind and caring person!

Rent a boat with confidence!!!
If you want to rent a boat, this is a great place to do it. Very nice and helpful staff. Trust worthy, no problems from beginning to end. They’ll get you in and out of the water quickly. The ski boat ran great without issues. It was a great experience and will come back again the next time I’m in Laughlin.

Do not go here!!! Dirt road for 4 miles to get to boat launch. Construction everywhere along the way with dirt and debris flying everywhere. So much for our clean boat… And they raised the price! $ 36 for car and boat. Redic!!!

Unless you’re visiting Tuesday through Thursday, I would not recommend Katherine’s Landing or Princess Cove until the road and parking construction is complete. If you imagine in your mind the worst traffic and dust scenario you can come up with, that’s what you’re driving into. The Park Services’ mismanagement of these improvements is epic. Their website says the improvements should be completed by May 31. I would imagine September based on what we saw on our May 13 visit.

What a great marina, rented a deck boat for the day and cursed the lake, no fish caught today but who cares fun and sun, the bar at the marina was closed and the road out is all under construction so take your time and relax.

This place is nice. But currently there is major road construction to get to the landing. At some point this will be completed in summer. Please be aware of the construction workers. They are working hard everyday to make access to this beautiful lake. Follow all signs and traffic control if attempting to get to your destination. Be patient and aware.

Don’t recommend going summer of 2016 they are doing construction and it is a mess! Room was ok kitchen was decent. maids only made bed didn’t clean anything! Restaurant was horriable! It’s bar food served in a basket for 10 $ a plate!

Review is only for the boat repair shop. Used to always get services there. Now they have a new guy as the service manager. What a total moron.
Will never use them again until this jerk leaves. Hopefully the owners will can his butt.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and I love it. I haven’t been able to come in a 2 years or so and I can’t wait to actually get to come in the summer.

The customer service at this place is poor. Every employee we interacted with had an attitude. And the guys (kurtis and kurt) working at the rental boat dock were simply assholes. We asked for 2 life vests and was told «what they can’t swim» and after they made the comment reluctantly gave us two life vests. Also while giving us the instructions and overview for our boat, kurk or kurtis at the dock acted very condescending and rude and insisted we back the boat out of the marina. He made himself sound real educated. If these people don’t want to have a decent attitude why work at a resort that prides itself on customer service. I get its an off weekend and it’s not busy, but that should be the time you guys should be more willing to accommodate so people want to come back during the summer for bigger Holidays and busier weekends. My family and friends have been coming to lake Mohave for 15+ years while we stay in Laughlin and never have we experienced people so rude in this area. It really has put a bad taste in our mouth about lake Mojave and will not be returning or recommending this place to our friends and family. This place was great when we came last year in August and did not encounter rude people and for the price you can’t beat it for a simple boat to get you on the lake. But for the simple fact that the employees here obviously don’t appreciate their customers we will no longer be supporting their business. If you don’t have your own boat and only going here to launch your boat, don’t waste your time with these people. Take the little bit farther drive from Laughlin or wherever your coming from and go to Havasu, you’ll have a much better experience. Good luck with your business and shitty customer service employees of the lake Mohave resort.

Rented a boat for half of a day. The boat was by no means new, but it did the job to just cruise the lake, so some tubing and wakeboarding. The guys down at the dock were really helpful and friendly too.

Had a great time at Lake Mojave. Water was warm and clean. The marina itself is also keep clean and all staff was friendly and helpful. They have rental boats and jet skis available for day use, and if you have a problem there is a marina staff member right there to assist.

Price was great. 250 for a pontoon boat for 9 of us. Staff was friendly and helpful. Plus 10 percent off for military. Spent the day on the water used about 50 bucks in fuel. Not bad if you split everything. One piece of advice get there early. We were amongst the first 7 in line and still waited 45 minutes after they opened. Prices are very reasonable for most things in store except water. 13.50 for a case of water is ridiculous. Overall I’d recommend. Had a great time for a fair price

Loved this place for so many years, until today… We have our boat in storage and asked them to pull it out and leave so we can launch… But They launch our boat without the plugs in and almost sank our boat ! On top of that they kicked us out of storage because of their mistake. We were not even mad at the situation because the corrected it quickly. But the lady Kat was such a rude woman and took our slip away too, that we paid for! Just to cover her own butt! We couldn’t believe this woman! Almost ruined our vacation with our kids, she didn’t care one bit. Now we have to find storage somewhere last minute.

Lake Mohave Marina offers moorage & dry storage for personal boats, small boat rentals, sea doo rentals and a hotel & restaurant. Everything was great for the price! I can’t wait to return in a couple weeks. I recommend anyone that has not been to Lake Mohave check it out because it’s fun for the whole family! Literally about a 7 minute drive to Laughlin! Very convenient!

This review is strictly for the restaurant.
We boated in for lunch on Tuesday afternoon. There aren’t very many courtesy dock spots but that would be more of a problem on weekends or holidays.
The restaurant was clean, cool, and comfortable. The server was friendly and attentive. The cheeseburgers were grilled and served with all the stuff you’d expect. I asked for medium rare (pink in the middle) and that’s what I got. Two Thumbs Up. Willow Beach’s restaurant crew should take some lessons from the cook at Katherine. The fries were nicely turned out (my kids loved them).
It was 108 on the water with hot dry wind so we were delighted that The Guy just kept coming back with his pitcher of ice water to refill our glasses. That was a nice touch.

For any boating needs, repairs and service, this is IT. They staff there is knowledgeable and have been very accommodating when I have gone in. They are decently priced, and have gotten by boat service done without hassle in short time. I wouldn’t wait for the heat of summer, as I am sure they get VERY busy, but off season is a breeze. I recommend them for any boat service needs before other places in Bullhead City.

Came here as part of a bachelor party weekend. We borrowed a boat and towed it up from So Cal without any of us having a whole lot of boating experience.
We showed up the Friday after Labor Day and had no problems. Launching the boat off of the ramp and renting the slip for two nights — hassle free. A lot easier than I expected, but I’m sure things are hectic earlier in the summer and on holiday weekends.
We had an issue with our prop the first day and had to pull the boat out of the water. We took it to the onsite repair shop and the guy changed out our prop for free (we had brought our own spare). Nice customer service.
PROS
1. Lake Mohave is huge. Massive. We were boating nonstop for 3 days and never saw the end of it. Some beaches within the first couple miles of the marina have restrooms. The whole park and lake were very clean, water was clear 50 feet down
2. Did I say clean? The marina, parking lot were very well taken care of. Lots of trashcans for when you’re coming off of the water. Seemed like everyone was very responsible with their garbage
3. Good service and friendly staff
4. Boat slips are inexpensive. Launch ramp has room for 4 or 5 boats so we never had a problem getting in or out of the water
5. We left our stuff out on a beach on the lake (tent, coolers, chairs etc.) overnight for two nights and had no issues. This helps a lot from having to load/​unload each day
6. Ample parking. We unhooked the trailer and left it there for two nights without anyone touching it
7. Short 10 minute drive from Laughlin where we were staying
CONS
1. You have to pay to get in to the lake area — it’s a U.S. National Park, this has nothing to do with the resort/​marina or anything. I think it was $ 18 for up to 6 days or something (which isn’t bad actually)
2. The docks in the marina are a little touch and go — some of the boards had nails sticking up and some were just old and falling apart. I did always feel safe however. Just wear sandals
3. Sunscreen in the marina store costs $ 15 for a 6-​ounce bottle. They know they have the market cornered!
TIPS
1.Get there early (before 9 am) to avoid the crowds. Once you’re on the water it’s fine, but launching and/​or renting a slip gets really busy mid morning. We overheard that holiday weekends are usually sold out, and the slip rentals are first come, first served
2. Bring large trash bags for when you’re on the water or beaches so you can bring it back with you to the marina

I received a call from Seven Crowns Resorts about my issue at the boat shop. They reviewed my bill and talked to the boat shop about what happened. I was refunded the 3 extra hours of labor and extra parts they charged me.
THAT’S CUSTOMER SERVICE!
All I can say is if I have a mechanical emergency and have to use their mechanics again, I will get it all in writing first. I really do appreciate their follow up and for taking the time to look into my situation.

I gotta say that the staff here at Katherine’s landing really made our recent vacation something special. I was greeted by great service from everyone, including the gals at the front desk and the guys helping us with our rented patio boat. I was most impressed that the gentlemen (I think it was John or Ralph?) made sure our daughter had a proper fitting life vest and even remembered my name when we brought the boat back… The boat was great all around, the price was fair and everything worked great.
We will definitely be back here on our next visit!
