History

Established in 1974.

Papa Bill has been fishing the White River for nearly 40 years. A native Arkansan, Papa Bill owned a very successful floral shop in Jonesboro, while his true love was fishing the many rivers in the Ozarks. Trout fishing was a hobby, a favorite pastime. Until one day it became full time.

Locally known as an expert on the unpredictable river, many local resorts and returning vacationers request Papa Bill’s Guide Service exclusively. It wasn’t long until the business was born. Now you too can experience the White River with Papa Bill!
