I eat here pretty religiously, maybe 2 or 3 times a week and I absolutely love this place, very friendly, good atmosphere and quick service. I’m very loyal to what I get here which is usually a super buritto and 3 Carne Asada tacos.

Do not let the location or the store stop you from going in this place. Since it is next door to a gas station, one would not really think to stop and eat here… The place is nice and clean… the people are wonderful, and treat you like family. no matter if it is your first, or 40th time going in. The food is BEYONDTHISWORLD! I am from California, and have been really missing authentic«taco truck tacos» My prayers were answered when I found Taco Jalisco. Very good food. very affordable… why are you still sitting at your computer? Hurry go eat some mouth watering carnitas, carne asada, or super tender chicken… BESTTACOSONEARTH! Not only Taco’s they have a full menu of greatness!!! Thank you Taco Jalisco for being there. :) ~ KIm Porter

It’s joints like these that make me glad I’m a Unilocaler! I never would have noticed Taco Jalisco or had the courage to walk in, but I am so glad we did! Order at the counter to go or sit to dine in. The servers are quick and to the point, but sweet. My husband and I split a torta carnitas, burrito w chorizo & huevos, & burrito w carnitas. They were all great! We watched our food be prepared as the order came up, and it was super fast. Also, each dish had its own flavor. Rather than just sticking different meats into the same basic burrito, both were a little unique. Cilantro, avocado, jalapeños inside all super fresh. Without any sides, these 3 items proved to be a little more than we could manage in one sitting. The burritos & torta are no joke, and the hubs and I are, shall we say, plate cleaners. Looks like they do breakfast here too. We will return! Thank you Unilocalisphere for your guidance

I was looking for a Mexican place to eat at after a day at the lake. My boyfriend was hesitant to go in at first because this restaurant is attached to a gas station, but I assured him that all the Unilocal reviews were wonderful. I’m glad he believed me. Here’s what we had: The pollo, carnitas, shredded beef, and chili Relleno tacos. Also a beef stew main dish. All tacos were outstanding. My fav was the shredded beef and pollo. Boyfriend liked the pollo taco also(actually he liked all of them) but he did say there was a lot of cheese in the chili Relleno. The beef and potato stew was AMAZING — I would say one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. I want to learn how to make this dish. The side of rice and beans was great — but nothing special — except for the cheese they sprinkled on the beans — that was soooo good. Would go again and grab a beef stew dish to-go. Food came very fast. This is an eat and go place. Not one where you’d want to stay a while and enjoy a few cocktails(not sure if they even serve alcohol).

Why, why, why all the 5 star reviews?! We ate here last night BECAUSE of the reviews. I don’t get it! The food was not good ATALL. The service was horrible(but I guess that’s to be expected at a gas station restaurant). Also, the health rating is in the 80’s and it is due to the temperatures of meat both when it arrives and when it’s cooked. Yikes!

I found this place based on good reviews and decided to go for it. My wife and son were hesitant to exit out of the car but I had them make a promise that they would trust Dad on this one. Lol. We went in and the ambience is not there but the girl behind the counter greeted us and sat us down. She was awesome and efficient. The food came out super quick. We started with a cheese dip that was above average. The chips were a little stale but alright. I ordered a barbacoa, chicken, and pastor taco. All of them under $ 2 .All of them were perfectly cooked, seasoned, and fresh. My wife got the Jalisco plate which was a huge serving of a bed of delicious rice, grilled chicken and veggies, and smothered in cheese. Everyone was glad they trusted dad. We will be back.

The best tacos in Buford! Doesn’t look like much, but if you know food, you know those are the best places. I’ve experienced the carnitas tacos, burrito, and nachos. Also chicken burrito, beef tacos, and chicken tacos. Everything is delicious and I find myself there quite often. Authentic food, quick & pleasant service, and casual atmosphere. An absolute delight.

I have eaten all the tacos. Consistently satisfying. I don’t believe I’ve ever spent more than 8 $ here for multiple tacos and a drink. They also have interesting plates and breakfast which I will be trying soon. Very friendly.

I have been here a couple of times and never left disappointed. The place doesn’t look like much from the outside or the inside, but the food is amazing. I have tried all the tacos and a couple of the meals. There are not enough positive adjectives to describe the food here.

Great, authentic Mexican food. The restaurant is not fancy but comfortable. I had a steak taco and it was loaded with onions, beef, and cilantro. Excellent! Also had a chicken quesadilla which was perfect! Really good place and we found it here on Unilocal. Thanks!

I have looking for AGES for a taco place on this side of Gwinnett that has tripa tacos! I crave tripa and cabasa like crazy, especially when I’m at work. The best part is that I am right down the street. The rice and beans are to die for, and there red salsa is the . Totally keeping this place in my regular rotation. If you are like my mom, that isn’t a fan of places at the gas station, please try it! The best tortas, tacos, and malanasia have been from little restaurants in gas stations. And they are cheap! Can’t beat it.

Do yourself a favor and try this place. Seriously. Hands down. This is the best taco place in GA. Edit… the morning after my Taco Jalisco… I dreamt about tacos last night. The delicious carne asada I had… The delicious and flavorful burritos and tacos. The amazing salsa… Going back to this place for lunch, the very next day. Seriously… try this place!

Having lived in Mexico and from San Diego, I feel like I can judge a good taco. These are great. Just had the carne asada and al pastor taco and they were amazing. $ 1.95 each. Good quality meat, well seasoned. Haven’t tried any else, but I saw they have a breakfast burrito :) Cant wait to try, wish I lived closer

I needed a quick lunch and was in the mood for mexican. I fired up Unilocal and found El Taco Jalisco. If you’re looking for excellent mexican this place has it. It’s very affordable and very good. I had the steak, shredded beef and chicken tacos. I tried the green and red sauces. Both were really good and had a great spicy tatste to them. The green sauce was my favorite. Service was fast, staff was friendly and I’d come back. Well worth 5 stars!

Stopped in for some tacos for the family tried the carne asada and the chili rellano. They were not bad, but not as impressed as others. The meat lacked seasoning I would hope for from these style of tacos but the cilantro and onions made up for the some of the missing flavor.

One of my favorite Mexican spots . I only get burritos, can’t comment on the other items on the menu. They serve breakfast burritos all day. If you come in between 11 – 3 you can take advantage of their lunch specials. Closest I can get to mexican food like San Diego.
