History

Established in 2005.

We purchased the assets of publisher Foxfire Fine arts. Our goal was to bring Sallie’s work back onto the market while she could still enjoy the fruit of her labor. Sallie passed away August 7, 2009. She was considered one of the nations top watercolor arts. Her work was known for it’s detail and in almost all of the paintings a bluejay feather appears. Our current goal is to continue to build our dealer network and introduce new collectors to Sallie’s work. She had a story behind each painting ofter very humorous. Prior to her passing we held 35 shows drawing over 5900 fans. Sallie was the first female artist fo place in the Federal Duck Stamp contest. Her work appears in several galleries in the Southeast. A tour of 40 originals will begin at the Asheville Art Museum on July 16, 2010 entitled «Sallie Middleton: A LIfe in the Forest» with stops in Charlotte, Charleston and Atlanta.

Meet the Business Owner

Rey W.

Business Owner

I spent 30 years in the high tech industry and discovered Sallie’s work while on a consulting engagement in 2000. I immediately started the process to obtain the copyrights and inventory to bring Sallie back on the market. Since I had no art experience I was able to develop markets that most other publishers had not considered. I am an avid reader and love to travel, which has helped us build our current business.
